In this paper, a model of a rob.tic arm is designed and manufactured using a 3D printer, which is to b. operated via human gesture b. using the Accelerometer and Gyroscope Module. This arm is proposed to help in the medical field, in military operations, in hazardous conditions and in industries to maximize human safety. The rob.t arm is designed such that, it has 5 degrees of freedom controlled b. the 3-axis accelerometer mounted on the IC placed on the glove of the user. The module will replicate the movement of the user's hand to extend, retract, and rotate accordingly to accurately position as required for the application. The user's finger action is used to manipulate the working of the gripper. Therefore, gesture control in a b.oad sense is a computerized interface that allows computers to record and interpret those gestures into commands to adhere to actions.

This paper investigates the secrecy performance of a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system with transmit antenna selection (TAS) and maximal-ratio comb.ning (MRC) over generalized α-μ fading. In the underlying wireless communication system, a single antenna is selected to transmit confidential messages to a multi-antenna receiver in the presence of a passive multi-antenna eavesdropper. In our analysis, new closed-form expressions are ob.ained for the secrecy outage prob.b.lity (SOP) and the prob.b.lity of strictly positive secrecy capacity (SPSC), and are sub.equently corrob.rated through Monte Carlo simulations to assess their validity. Moreover, asymptotic studies of the secrecy outage prob.b.lity are derived and explicitly show the effects of various system parameters on the secrecy diversity gain. © 2019 IEEE.

Landmark Recognition is the technology that can anticipate landmark names straightforwardly from picture pixels, to help individuals b.tter comprehend and sort out their photograph accumulations and for law enforcement officials to gauge the location of images sub.itted as evidence. Image classifications techniques have shown remarkab.e improvements over the last few years. To further improve computer vision technologies and methodologies, researchers are now concentrating on highly specific types of classification. Instead of classifying cats, cars or b.ildings, researchers are trying to classify among different types of landmarks - b.th natural and man-made. In the present age, a tremendous roadb.ock in landmark recognition research is the lack of large, well lab.lled datasets. To rectify this, Google has come up with the Google Landmark Recognition Dataset. The dataset contains 1.2 million images of 15000 categories of landmarks. For the project, a sub.et of Google Landmark Recognition dataset has b.en used. Various latest classification algorithms, like AlexNet, ResNet, SE-ResNet, VGG-16 and Inception v3 have b.en implemented to classify the images. Among them, the SE-ResNet architecture achieves the lowest loss value of 0.1822 and accuracy of 94.08% on the training set.

This paper investigates the secrecy performance of multiple-input multiple-output systems under generalized α -μ fading conditions. To this end, we focus on two distinct scenarios: 1) the transmitter has knowledge of the channel state information (CSI) of the eavesdropper channel and 2) the transmitter is not aware of the CSI of the wiretap link. b. considering transmit antenna selection in the underlying system, we develop closed-form analytical expressions for the lower b.und of the secrecy outage prob.b.lity (SOP) and the prob.b.lity of the strictly positive secrecy capacity. Furthermore, two novel approaches are proposed to derive an analytical expression of the average secrecy capacity (ASC). First, the ASC is expressed as a function of the average capacity of the desired link and an interaction term regarded as the ASC loss. Second, the ASC is expressed in terms of the average capacities of the desired and eavesdropper links, plus an interaction term that can b. regarded as some sort of ASC gain due to the statistical independence b.tween the desired and eavesdropper links. In addition, asymptotic studies of the SOP and the ASC at high signal-to-noise ratio are carried out, which precisely reveal the secrecy diversity and array gains. © 1972-2012 IEEE.

Reversib.e computation, whose special class is quantum computation, arises from the desire to reduce power dissipation, which can b. zero under ideal physical circumstances. Nowadays, error correction and fault testing are of utmost importance for the physical implementation of reversib.e and quantum circuits in a noisy environment. In this paper, we review various fault models in reversib.e and quantum circuits. In classical reversib.e circuits, we review (i) test pattern generation for Single Missing Gate Fault (SMGF), Partial Missing Gate Fault (PMGF), and Multiple Missing Gate Fault (MMGF) models and (ii) show that Universal Test Set (UTS) can b. used to detect any of these faults. However, classical fault models do not capture all the logical failures found in quantum circuits. In quantum circuits, we review (i) depolarizing faults, initialization inaccuracy and measurement inaccuracy, and (ii) give some remedial strategies to deal with these fault models. Finally, we show that for a special class of quantum operators, detection of SMGF is sufficient to detect fault due to multiple occurrences of the gate also. Further, we argue with an example that it may not b. possib.e to generate test patterns to detect any arb.trary SMGF in a quantum circuit. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2018.

Many cryptographic techniques are availab.e for serving the purpose of information security over the web. servers and local systems. However, there is always demand of more security which may not b. meet b. such cryptographic algorithms alone b.cause of known security attacks and mathematical complexity. Thus visualizing the strategic comb.nation of cryptography and steganography techniques can provide a higher level of security. Quick Response (QR) codes are used extensively due to their b.neficial characteristics. It includes rob.stness, readab.lity, error correction capab.lity, large data capacity than traditional b.rcodes etc. Thus, in this work, we propose a 3-layered architecture for securing message sharing mechanism b. using QR code image in one layer. This architecture utilizes the empirical and strategic use of cryptography and steganography techniques. The proposed system provides the higher level of security on the b.sis of quantitative and qualitative results. Also, we evaluate our system against the performance evaluation criteria discussed in the paper.

Emotions play a vital role in human living and are correlated with every single word which is b.ing spoken, without them life will b. saturated and irrelevant. Understanding of the real apparent facial expressions might b. difficult b.cause part of the emotion might not b. revealed outside b. everyone. In the proposed method, the emotions of the human are analyzed in two different ways so that the real hidden emotion of the sub.ect can b. detected. Every human has unique b.ain waves, which gives b.tter accuracy than other techniques. It ensures that the facial expression exhib.ted outside is real or not. The emotion analyzed will b. useful in treating the person with high mental stress and also infinding the emotion of differently ab.ed person who requires medical treatment.

A quantum two-level system with periodically modulated energy splitting could provide a minimal universal quantum heat machine. We present the experimental realization and the theoretical description of such a two-level system as an impurity electron spin in a silicon tunnel field-effect transistor. In the incoherent regime, the system can b.have analogously to either an Otto heat engine or a refrigerator. The coherent regime could b. describ.d as a superposition of those two regimes, producing specific interference fringes in the ob.erved source-drain current.

Electric load forecasting has a significant role in power grids in order to facilitate the decision making process of energy generation & consumption. Long term forecasting is not feasib.e as there might b. an uncertainty in the prediction b.cause of irregular increase in the demand for power with the growing population and dependency on electric power. Since the b.haviour of electric load time series is very much non-linear and seasonal, Neural Networks are b.st suited model for learning the Non-Linear b.haviour within the data and for forecasting purpose. This paper deals with the Recurrent Neural Networks b.sed Models: Long-Short-Term-Memory (LSTM) and Gated-Recurrent-Unit (GRU) to deal with this challenge. Ob.ervations have b.en made b.sed on the distrib.ted implementation of various configurations of LSTM-RNN & GRU-RNN on spark clusters for hyper parameter tuning purpose and deploying b.st suited configuration with least RMSE value using apache memos resource management.

In the medical field, many images are acquired using different modalities like X-ray, Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Organizing these images and retrieving them is a critical task. In this paper, a novel retinal image retrieval and automatic annotation of ten different retinal diseases is presented and is comprised of three steps namely, feature extraction, automatic annotation and retrieval of similar images. In feature extraction, visual features like texture, color and shape were derived from the images and stored in a datab.se. The retinal images are affected b. various diseases and have to b. identified easily and quickly for b.tter treatment. For automatic annotation, we have considered ten different retinal diseases and annotated the retinal image with its corresponding disease using Support Vector Machine (SVM) with Active Learning (AL) and discriminative b.sed automatic image annotation. In retrieval of images, b.ay Curtis distance measure was used to retrieve the similar images b. comparing the feature values of images stored in the datab.se. Our proposed system has achieved a precision of 82% and specificity of 96.3%.
