Secret Image Sharing (SIS) scheme is to encrypt a secret image into ‘n’ specious shadows. It is unab.e to reveal any data on the secret image if at least one of the shadows is not achieved. In this paper, wavelet-b.sed secret image sharing scheme is proposed with encrypted shadow images using optimal Homomorphic Encryption (HE) technique. Initially, Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) is applied on the secret image to produce sub.b.nds. From this process, multiple shadows are created, encrypted and decrypted for each shadow. The encrypted shadow can b. recovered just b. choosing some sub.et of these ‘n’ shadows that makes transparent and stack over each other. To improve the shadow security, each shadow is encrypted and decrypted using HE technique. For the concern on image quality, the new Oppositional b.sed Harmony Search (OHS) algorithm was utilized to generate the optimal key. From the analysis, it shows that the proposed scheme provide greater security compared to other existing schemes.

Coastal urb.n environments face unique challenges associated with air quality-meteorology interactions. In this study, high resolution chemical transport modeling over the Greater b.ston area was performed to improve our understanding of sea b.eezes impacts on the spatiotemporal variab.lity of primary and secondary pollutants. We perform WRF-Chem simulations at 3 km resolution over June 22 to 10 July 2019 (a period that included 10 sea b.eeze occurrences), and use Pandora tropospheric NO 2 column, surface air quality monitoring, and vertical meteorological aircraft profiles for evaluation. The model generally reproduces ob.erved spatiotemporal variab.lity of air pollution during sea b.eezes well. Tropospheric columns of NO 2 predicted b. the model and ob.erved b. the Pandora instrument show that sea b.eezes are associated with rapid increases and steep gradients in tropospheric NO 2 and confirm accumulation of local primary emissions. Spatial heterogeneity in tropospheric NO 2 is strongly governed b. inland penetration lengths of the sea b.eeze front. Process diagnostics show that three sea-b.eeze days where O 3 ob.ervations recorded hourly concentrations >70 ppb.have b.th efficient net chemical O 3 production in the b.undary layer (>10 ppb.hr) and rapid O 3 convergence in the near-surface convergence zone (>20 ppb.hr). During sea b.eezes, interactions b.tween photochemistry, the convergence zone inland penetration, and urb.n NO x titration effects, contrib.te to strong heterogeneity and high O 3 inland that is not captured b. the current monitoring network. We discuss monitoring needs and model applications for the sea b.eeze scenarios, with b.oad implications for air quality monitoring in coastal urb.n environments. The Hierarchical Maximum Concurrent Flow Prob.em has shown significant utility in finding community structure in graphs. However, the time and space complexities of the formulation limit feasib.lity to relatively small graphs. Some of our previous studies have shown that using the Maximum Adjacency Search can find the Maximum Concurrent Flow in many cases with lower time and space requirements. We formalize that heuristic, extend it to the hierarchical case, and show how it can b. used to calculate the approximate flows within the graph. © 2017, American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Inc, AIAA. In 802.11 WLAN, Access Point (AP) and its associated mob.le stations (MSs) forms a b.sic service set (b.S). In such network a continuous service coverage with an acceptab.e throughput is highly desirab.e while the MSs roam around the network. Limited size of WLAN b.Ss with increased deployment results more transmission overlapping and frequent hand-offs. This significantly increases the delay. On the other hand, selection of appropriate target AP is another major issue as it crucially determines the ob.ained throughput. In this paper we propose a load aware channel prob.ng (LACP) towards an efficient hand-off addressing these two issues simultaneously. b.sed on the accumulated load on the APs in range the proposed approach efficiently reduces the prob.-count during hand-off b. avoiding unnecessary channel prob.ng and selects the appropriate destination AP. The ob.ective is to reduce the hand-off delay and to enhance the ob.ained throughput. We first present a motivational example then develop an elegant algorithm. The novelty of the idea is estab.ished through extensive simulations. We have shown that the performance of the proposed approach is highly comparab.e to the other approaches from existing literature.

In this present work, we are implementing a novel hyb.id method b.sed on the coupling of RPIM in strong form and Finite Element Method (FEM). The b.sic idea is to ensure the coupling b.tween the two methods through the collocation technique b.sed on RPIM interpolation. This technique is used to evaluate the local equations of the prob.em at the interface b.tween FEM and RPIM regions. We can avoid numerical integrations of a b.g part of nodes using the strong form of RPIM. Numerical studies show that this method gives reasonab.y accurate results consistent with the theory.

Meshless approach b.sed on MLS with additional constraints for large deformation analysis

In the present work, we are interested to develop a meshless approach, b.sed on the strong form MLS approximation with additional constraints, to solve the nonlinear elastic and elsto-plastic prob.ems for regular and irregular distrib.tion of points. We adopt a plastic b.havior law b.sed on the total deformation theory, which is very convenient when the physical nonlinearity is more important than the effect of irreversib.e process and the loading history. In plasticity, one encounters discontinuities of rigidity where the application of asymptotic developments seems difficult or impossib.e. To apply the Taylor series expansion, regularization methods have b.en adapted. The strong form MLS approximation allows us to avoid the inconvenient of the numerical integration, while the asymptotic developments help us to reduce the computation cost ob.erved in the incremental law of plasticity and the iterative methods. For irregular points distrib.tion, we can get an ill-posed least squares prob.ems due to a singular moment matrix of MLS approximation. To avoid this difficulty, we propose a modified MLS approximation b. introducing additional constraints which allows to increase the error functional used in the derivation of the shape functions.

A pair of coupled dielectric waveguides with b.lanced loss and gain is the b.sic system for ob.erving the phenomena of parity-time () symmetry and exceptional points (EPs). We use the multimode analytical approach to study the peculiarities of interaction b.tween the modes excited in such an archetypal structure. With this approach, the conditions for symmetry b.eaking are ob.ained in the special case of the hyb.id HE and EH modes resulting in the ordinary second-order EPs (or -symmetry thresholds). The coupling of modes with the different azimuthal indices (the TM01 and HE21 modes in our study) generates the uncommon types of EPs. First, there are the so-called multimode -symmetry thresholds due to interaction of hyb.id and transverse modes. Second, the third-order EPs appear as a result of three-modes degeneracy of real eigenvalues. It is noteworthy that an increase in the EPs order is achieved without b.th b.eaking the symmetry and introducing additional elements into the waveguide structure. The results ob.ained with the multimode analytical approach are in perfect agreement with the independent full-wave simulations.

The research in MANET has b.en carried out for the development of various techniques which will increase the competency of the network only. A plenty numb.r of proposed routing protocols are magnificent in terms of efficiency. However, proposed protocols were generally fulfilling the set of trusted network and not considered for adversarial network setting, hence there is no security mechanism has b.en considered. MANET is widely used in sensitive fields like b.ttlefield, police rescue operation and many more in such type of sensitive field an attacker may try to gather information ab.ut the conversation starting from the origin node to the terminal node. Secure route selection approach for route selection in adverse environment is discussed in this article. The results shows that proposed algorithm, will resolve the single & collab.rative attack b. increasing the computational & storage overhead and b. improving the significant PDR, achieves a noticeab.e enhancement in the end to end delay.

An Interpretab.e Model with Glob.lly Consistent Explanations for Credit Risk

We propose a possib.e solution to a pub.ic challenge posed b. the Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO), which is to provide an explainab.e model for credit risk assessment. Rather than present a b.ack b.x model and explain it afterwards, we provide a glob.lly interpretab.e model that is as accurate as other neural networks. Our "two-layer additive risk model" is decomposab.e into sub.cales, where each node in the second layer represents a meaningful sub.cale, and all of the nonlinearities are transparent. We provide three types of explanations that are simpler than, b.t consistent with, the glob.l model. One of these explanation methods involves solving a minimum set cover prob.em to find high-support glob.lly-consistent explanations.
