Waste bins are being used in an indoor environment by every common man for over many decades. Proper Voice-o-mata is a b.end term of Voice Automation. Automation is a term which has b.en gaining a lot of attention lately. The idea of this project is using the HT-05 bluetooth module and Arduino IDe achieving automation of a home or industry using IoT. Also inherent Security system composed of features like password protection of home or industry, Flame and Smoke detection and alarm system. This flexib.e and reliab.e setup which is capab.e of being implemented real time minimizes human effort and also increases security features. The significant feature is that over conventional automation features this setup uses voice based automation. This may be further extended to achieve full scale security, real-time monitoring of devices.

biodegradation of Low Density Polyethylene in Aqueous Media

Low Density Polyethylene (LDPe) is the most common packaging material used for packaging a wide range of products. The efficient disposal of these plastic materials is a herculean task as they are not easily degradab.e and pose detrimental effects on the environment. An efficient approach is to degrade them into simpler compounds that can be disposed safely. Out of the various degradation techniques, biodegradation is vastly used as it is more economical method. biodegradation may either be carried out in a specific aqueous medium so designed for the most efficient degradation. The present work is on the study of biodegradation of LDPe in aqueous media. For biodegradation studies various combinations of LDPe and starch i.e., LDPe, LDPe+10% starch, LDPe+20% starch, LDPe+30% starch, LDPe+40% starch, and LDPe+50% starch samples of size 15 mm x 15 mm were used and were exposed to minimal medium in a shake flask maintained at a pH of 7.5. The inoculums of bacterial consortium were added to each flask and a control was also maintained for each set of samples. In the liquid cultures the degradation followed the same pattern i.e., the degradation increased with increase in starch content. The degradation ob.erved on day 150was 1.53%, 1.67%, 1.50%, 5.06%, 40.65% and 54.33% for pure LDPe, 10%, 20% 30%, 40% and 50% starch b.ended plastics respectively. For the b.ended starch plastics at each level the degradation increased with time. At the lowest levels the degradation was almost uniform in the early stages but at higher starch content LDPe the degradation increased with time.

In general potential of hydrogen ions (pH) neutralization is an essential process in all food processing industries. pH values must be maintained within the specific range so that the products produced stays within the safety limit. In sugar production, pH neutralization is most important to enhance the edibility of sugar. So, the pH value should be maintained within a range. The process has the characteristics of strong non-linearity, multi-input and time-varying property. Therefore, there is no particular acceptab.e solution to control the varying pH value. We have focused in tackling this prob.em using mathematical approach, to control the flow of MOL and surface fitting methodology was opted in this paper. The simulation results indicates that this method has the good control effect and using this techniques a promising results towards milk of lime (MOL) flow to controlling the pH was concluded. This could be further developed using hardware based control and can be implemented in sugar industries to control the pH value automatically. © 2015 Ieee.

In this paper existing sliding mode control for nonlinear dynamic systems is demonstrated and its performance is evaluated against conventional PID controller. The changes in system dynamics occurs due to parametric uncertainties and external disturbances. Here it is shown that the sliding mode control based on the variab.e structure control is a robust control technique against parametric uncertainties and external disturbances. The effect of chattering in SMC is reduced using a boundary layer approach. The PID controller being a fixed structure control system is sensitive to parametric uncertainties and external disturbances. The sliding mode control and PID controller are illustrated in computer simulation for modeled spring-mass dashpot system and coupled tank system. Finally the performances of SMC are compared with conventional PID controller for the above systems to show the dominance of SMC over conventional PID controller.

We propose a `Touch-less finger print system', the hardware of which is limited to just a webcam and a processor. The present biometric systems are either costly or unhygienic, as a person who is perfectly healthy may acquire a disease from the system which was already used by a diseased person. For various reasons, users are concerned about touching the biometric scanners. even then fingerprint remains to be the most unique feature of any person. Webcams are concomitant with today's PCs and laptops making it easier to implement our system. Our proposal is basically a software that can be implemented anywhere with access to a PC and a webcam. We use a web camera to capture the user's finger at a distance for recognition. The finger image so obtained is isolated from the background and ridges are extracted. The finger print is then processed in euclidean space to obtain the minutiae points. Spurious minutiae are removed and the orientations and euclidean distances of the minutiae points are saved for future matching. The main applications of this system widens to almost all fields especially Personal security (PC, Laptops and Mobile Phones), Defense, Attendance, ATM etc.

Our paper deals with automatic detection of red light traffic signals or vehicle speed limit signs on roads by using RFID technology to control an automobile. In the present scenario traffic violations are increasing rapidly. It gives rise to major prob.ems which are beyond human control directly and therefore there is a need for automation. An RFID reader present in the vehicle senses the active RFID tag(which is linked with a red traffic light to turn it on or off) or senses the vehicle speed limit on the tag as a reference speed input(attached to the speed limit signboard).This is given to the electronic control unit. Meanwhile the vehicle speed sensor present in the wheel gives the actual speed of the vehicle on road. The output of this eCU unit is given to the proposed braking system present in the automobiles. We here suggest two braking systems in this paper.

Presently, most of the modern military tanks require 4 members to operate. In this paper, we try to reduce the number of persons to operate the tank by one and increase the ease of targeting enemies. This is achieved by controlling the firing systems of the tank with the help of eyeball movement and blink. Image of the eye is captured using a camera, which is placed in front of the eye, and centroid of the iris is found to track the eye. The turret's vertical as well as horizontal position is controlled using the eyeball movement and the gun can be fired with the help of blink. It is possib.e to switch between the main gun and the machine gun with ease. The machine gun is also controlled in a similar manner. Thus, our system allows the driver to control the tank as well as the firing system thereby reducing number of people to control the tank.

This Paper mainly describes the design of an interactive medical aid that serves physically challenged and medically challenged *** goal is also to develop systems that could support physically challenged patients and enab.e their home based recuperation,This is because age old people and physically challenged on the households cannot be attended by a doctor for their illness frequently due to the immobility of those *** these people often get affected with various illnesses that need lots of medical *** aiding system measures various parameters such as body temperature,heart rate,blood pressure,blood oxygen level,hemoglobin count,cholesterol, blood glucose level *** it is equipped with planners to look after the person’s medical course and their dietary *** system communicates with the physicians through the internet to monitor patients at home,giving them the ability to treat them right from the hospital *** prescribed drugs or suggestions are stored in the database of the monitoring system and is compared for each and every time to offer the prescription of the doctor as soon as possib.e without his consultation(The situation being the previous one).efforts are being taken to handle emergency situations effectively with this *** concept could result in direct health care cost savings and improvement in the quality of medical care,especially in rural areas with limited access to practitioner.
