Heat stroke is defined as a condition in which the corebody temperature rises beyond 40.6 °C (105.1 °F) due to environmental heat exposure with lack of thermoregulation. IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) has reported that global mean temperature will riseby 3 0 C by 2100 which implies that heat exposure might be an important factor of concern in the near future. The industrial workers in tropical climate region areexposed to high heat during the months of summer. Hence to protect the workers, a study on the ill-effects and severity due to heat stroke and also development of guidelines for safe human exposure is imperative. Heat stress index predicts heat strokeby integrating the factors that defines thermal environment. WbGT (Wet-bulb Globe Temperature) is the most commonly used heat stress index at present. but it does not take into account the metabolic rate of individuals and also the latent heat loss. Latent heat loss by evaporation becomes a major source of thermoregulation at high temperatures. This paper focuses on the prediction of heat stroke from the perspective of latent heat loss due to sweat evaporation. It also deals with the significance of wind speed in industries and effects of global warming on heat stroke. Theeffects of free and forced convection for both present and future conditions are separately studied.

This paper proposes a semantic-based multi-agent framework to support development of vehicular social network applications. In the programming model of the framework, software platforms of vehicular social network systems can be developed by the collaboration of mobile agents and service (or resident) agents, where resident agents provide application services on devices and mobile agents provide communication services on behalf of owner applications. On top of the device infrastructure, the architecture of the proposed framework consists of three layers: framework service layer, software agent layer and application layer, to fully support dynamic and collaborative tasks of vehicular social networks. The multi-layer architecture design of the framework fully supports self-adaptive applications in vehicular social network environments, and is readily extensib.e to support new features. Developers can easily and effectively develop diverse applications for the vehicular social networks. Copyright 2011 ACM.

The millimetre-waveband provides a few important advantages for body-centric communications. First of all, efficient high-gain antennas can be made sufficiently small to fit in small portab.e devices which can be worn on thebody. Secondly, much more license-freebandwidth is availab.e in this frequency band and, therefore, data transfers can be much faster. This allows for quick transfer of video streams and large data files between body-worn devices (e.g. a portab.e video player or smart phone and a head mounted display). Finally, since millimetre waves attenuate quickly with distance compared to the other, lower, frequencies employed by wireless body-area networks (WbAN), they produce less interference to the other WbANs in the vicinity and providebetter security of the communication links by significantly reducing the chances of malicious eavesdropping. This feature of millimetre-wave links is of utmost importance for WbANs used by military and security forces. It also allows for a largely reduced probability of a WbAN, and hence the soldier wearing it, being detected by enemy forces and offers some other advantages in military applications [1].

Web technologies change the software industry drastically, more and moreenterprises migrate their business systems to Web applications. Web applications testing plays an important role to guarantee the quality of Web applications. This paper proposes an intelligent testing framework (AeTFW) to instruct the whole process of Web applications testing. Along with elaborating on the functionality and working mechanism of each function module deployed in the framework, the design of multi-agent system architecture is presented in this paper, as well as the working mechanism of each agent deployed on different level. The presented multi-agent system can improve the automatic and intelligent level of the AeTFW framework via flexibly constructing or deleting different functional agents in the multi-agent system meanwhile reduce the testing complexity of Web applications through the cooperation and coordination mechanisms.

Software testing is one of key technologies to guarantee quality and reliability of software. Most computer applications are related to database application systems. Test database generation is an important research topic of database application testing. There are a number of commercial tools to automatically generate test databases. These tools take the database schema and tab.e sizes as input in order to generate new tuples. However, these tools often generate test databases which do not reflect the semantics of the application logic that should be tested. In this paper, we propose a test database generation algorithm based on RQP (Reverse Query Processing). Using database integrity constraints, our proposal first obtains data dependence of test data generation between separate tab.es in database, and then applies RQP to a top-down test database generation according to tester specified queries. The referential values in top tab.es are involved in test data generation of down tab.es when deriving tester specified queries. Algorithm analysis and case studies show that the test data generated from our new algorithm satisfies the database integrity constraints. The new algorithm improves theefficiency of the test database generation significantly, as well as follows the testing requirements of tester specified queries.

basic principles of theelectro-hydrodynamics are applied for synthesis of solid state Fe-Al-O multi-ferroic fibrous material. For that purpose stab.eb.end spinning solutions comprised of a high molecular assisting organic polymer and salts of iron and aluminum are developed. These solutions are tested under electrospinning conditions and synthesis of homogeneous as spun non-woven mats characterized by fib.e mean diameters in the micro-and nano-size range is successfully demonstrated. Multi-step thermal procedure is applied for the consecutive solvent evaporation, polymer pyrolisis and final fib.e calcination. electron-optical imaging technique and XRD are applied for revealing the sample morphology and the phase composition correspondingly. The results obtained outline the wide possibilities for fabrication of multi-ferroics fibrous nano-materials on thebasis of Fe-Al-O.
