Sentiment Analysis is a method to recognize the emotional state of a being in any context or situation, often using Natural Language Processing (NLP) to analyze the text data, feedback, or reactions of a human's state of mind. It minimizes the gap between human expressions and machine interpretation, yet this process has certain challenges. Human languages and reactions are quite laborious and obscure to stimulate. The vague nature of human languages, cultural contexts, and emotional nuances blur out the actual meaning of human sentiment. In this paper, we provide an overview of sentiment analysis models, the datasets used in this domain, and the evaluation metrics employed to assess the performance of these models. Special attention is given to the gaps in current models' abilities to understand sarcasm, cultural context, and mixed emotions. © 2024 IEEE.

blockchain ensures the distribution and immutability of data. In recent years, logistics and supply chain management have increasingly recognized the impact of blockchain technology. businesses are exploring blockchain solutions to address the complexities of connected devices. blockchain facilitates stable, cost-effective delivery, enhances product traceability, and improves collaboration among customers, partners, and financial entities. The core focus of this project is to combine the decentralized nature of blockchain with chain governance to ensure security and transparency. The framework is implemented using Ganache, metamask, mySQL, PHP, NodeJS, Solidity, and JavaScript. blockchain technology also helps to reduce process interruptions caused by man-in-the-middle attacks. It assists in eliminating counterfeit goods from the market, thereby ensuring the integrity and authenticity of products for both producers and consumers at all levels. With the implementation of this framework, logistics procedures become transparent and well-managed, providing important information regarding logistics and transportation processes, including transportation vehicles, cargo status, and personnel. © 2024 IEEE.

Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) enable several areas of artificial intelligence, including perception recognition, expert system, recommender program and game. Also, graph neural networks (GNN) have shown excellent performance in supervised machine learning of graph structure data. Recently, combining GNN and DRL in graphical arranged environments has captivated much attention. This article provides a panoramic overview of all hybrid work. In order to facilitate generalisation, we incorporate Graph Neural Networks (GNN) into DRL agents in this research and create an action space that is problem specific. Deep Learning models called GNNs are innately made to generalise across graphs with varying sizes and architectures. This enables a broad range of network designs to ne learnt by proposed GNN-based DRL operator. © 2024 IEEE.

A survey on synthetic jets as active flow control

Synthetic jets (SJs) are becoming increasingly popular in aerospace engineering due to their potential applications in flow mixing enhancement, boundary layer control, and thermal load reduction. These pulsating jets involve the periodic motion of fluid in and out of a cavity through an orifice generated by a vibrating diaphragm at the cavity base. SJs are unique because they comprise working fluid and do not require an external fluid source, setting them apart from conventional flow control techniques. Although the net mass flux is zero in a complete cycle, there is a finite net momentum flux due to the imbalanced flow conditions across the orifice, and hence SJs are also known as Zero Net mass Flux (ZNmF) jets. Numerous experimental and numerical studies have evaluated the efficacy of SJs in controlling the flow and heat transfer characteristics under various conditions, including quiescent and cross-flow situations. This review provides a comprehensive overview of the progress in synthetic jet applications in the last 40 years, specifically focusing on their potential use in flow control, heat transfer, and related applications in aerospace engineering. The strengths and limitations of SJs are discussed, and critical areas are identified for future research and development, including further optimization and refinement of these unique jets. © Shanghai Jiao Tong University 2024.

Lattice-based cryptography stands as a cryptographic paradigm anchored in the mathematical concept of lattices, geometric structures proficient in addressing various mathematical problems like identifying the shortest vector within each lattice or solving specific systems of linear equations. Cardiovascular diseases are still among the leading causes of deaths worldwide, thus calling for early detection and precise risk assessment. Traditional methods of diagnosing cardiovascular disease often rely on standardized risk factors, which might not always catch the condition in its early stages. machine learning and AI are revolutionizing CVD prediction by examining complex data in healthcare to find previously unknown patterns. The paper discusses advances in mL techniques such as supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and ensemble methods. It emphasizes hyperparameter tuning, feature engineering, and model interpretability. AI models like Random Forest, SVm, and Neural Networks have shown better accuracy in predicting cardiovascular disease risk, enabling earlier and more personalized interventions. AI’s potential reaches from wearable devices to predictive cardiac event models, promising huge advances in cardiovascular care. Still, there are data privacy issues, model interpretability, and regulatory problems that will continue to pose significant challenges. Future advancements in multimodal imaging, precision medicine, and collaboration between clinicians and data scientists will be pivotal to the realization of AI’s full potential in transforming the prediction and prevention of CVD. © 2025 IEEE.
