Effect of multiple forces on convective micropolar fluid flow in a permeable channel with stretching walls considering second order slip conditions

This paper is intended to study the impact of velocity and thermal slip boundary conditions of order two on mHD buoyancy driven radiative micro-polar fluid in a channel with permeable stretching walls. The governing equations are transformed and solved numerically. Convergence of the numerical results are tested with grid independence test and obtained results are validated by comparing with existing results. The influence of velocity and thermal slip of order two, suction or injection, vortex viscosity, micro-rotation, magnetic and thermal radiation parameters on fluid velocity, microrotation profiles and temperature distributions are discussed over the graphs and tables. It is worth mentioning that second- order velocity and thermal slips dominate the stretchable walls and influence the flow characteristics (axial velocity, micro-rotation and temperature) more prominently. The micro-rotation profile decreases at (Formula presented.) and increases at (Formula presented.) of the channel for the first slip. This study is useful in blood rheology and fibre spinning etc. and these findings are highly useful to enhance the effectiveness of catalytic reactors. © 2022 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.

Lattice-based cryptography stands as a cryptographic paradigm anchored in the mathematical concept of lattices, geometric structures proficient in addressing various mathematical problems like identifying the shortest vector within each lattice or solving specific systems of linear equations. In this numerical analysis, the enhancement of heat transfer in a double pipe heat exchanger using helical fins has been numerically examined. The inner pipe carries hot water, while the annular section contains cold water with Reynolds Numbers ranging from 2500 to 9500. A wavy fin with a rectangular cross-section and varying fin pitches of 25, 50, 75, and 100mm has been subjected to numerical scrutiny to assess its impact on overall heat transfer coefficient, friction factor, pressure drop, effectiveness, efficiency, pumping power, and Thermo-hydraulic performance index in the double-pipe heat exchanger. These findings are compared with those obtained from the plain pipe. It is evident that helical fins outperform the plain double pipe heat exchanger by inducing turbulence effects in the flow field. For a fixed Reynolds Number of 2500, the Nusselt number is 11.84 percentage higher with a fin pitch of 25mm compared to 50mm. Similarly, for pitches of 75mm, 100mm, and the plain pipe, the respective increases in Nusselt number are 18.58, 24.19, and 35.52 percentage respectively. Parametric investigations indicate that as fin pitch decreases, turbulent intensity rises, leading to improved heat transfer performance. The highest Thermo Hydraulic Performance Index, recorded at 2.36, is observed for the 25mm pitch at Reynolds number of 2500. This value is 30Percentage higher than that achieved with a 100mm pitch fin. © 2023 IEEE.

Cardiovascular diseases are still among the leading causes of deaths worldwide, thus calling for early detection and precise risk assessment. Traditional methods of diagnosing cardiovascular disease often rely on standardized risk factors, which might not always catch the condition in its early stages. machine learning and AI are revolutionizing CVD prediction by examining complex data in healthcare to find previously unknown patterns. The paper discusses advances in mL techniques such as supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and ensemble methods. It emphasizes hyperparameter tuning, feature engineering, and model interpretability. AI models like Random Forest, SVm, and Neural Networks have shown better accuracy in predicting cardiovascular disease risk, enabling earlier and more personalized interventions. AI's potential reaches from wearable devices to predictive cardiac event models, promising huge advances in cardiovascular care. Still, there are data privacy issues, model interpretability, and regulatory problems that will continue to pose significant challenges. Future advancements in multimodal imaging, precision medicine, and collaboration between clinicians and data scientists will be pivotal to the realization of AI's full potential in transforming the prediction and prevention of CVD.

The present study numerically investigates the shock-wave/boundary-layer interactions (SWbLIs) inside a scramjet intake at mach 4.03. A 2D-planar and an axisymmetric intake are investigated using commercial code ANSYS-Fluent. The density gradient for intakes is computed to investigate and compare the shock cell structure and the separation bubble size. besides, the velocity and pressure distributions are analyzed for planar and axisymmetric intakes. It is observed from the wall pressure data that the shock strength in the case of axisymmetric intake is lesser than the planar intake. Also, the interaction region in the axisymmetric intake is shifted further downstream with a progressive decrease in shock angle. The recirculation zone or the separation bubble size is minimal for the axisymmetric intake than for planar intake, resulting in higher effective mass flow into the combustion chamber. It can be observed that although the cowl surface experiences the maximum wall static pressure, the recirculation zone formed over the cowl surface is comparatively smaller than that of the ramp surface. The normalized total pressures at the isolator exit indicate that the axisymmetric intake is more efficient in conserving the flow energy than the planar intake. The temperature rise over the ramp surface is higher for planar intake;however, the temperature fluctuations over the ramp surface are more for axisymmetric intake. © 2023, Chinese Society of Astronautics.

In recent years, the usage of diverse biometric technologies for reliable automatic human recognition has grown at an exponential rate. There is rising concern that, with the widespread use of biometric technologies, people's privacy and anonymity may be in risk. In contrast to passwords and credit cards, biometrics are linked to a person forever and cannot be altered if they are stolen. biometric patterns should be altered using non-invertible and revocable transformations to create cancelable biometric templates in order to avoid theft. A summary of latest advancement in different cancelable biometric systems for biometric template protection is provided. The shortcomings and benefits of current cancelable biometric systems are explored and point out promising research areas for development in this rapidly evolving domain. Also present a model of generating cancelable fingerprint template using Reed Solomon error corrections, which can be used to authenticate a distorted biometric image. This approach provides an accuracy of 95%. © 2023 IEEE.
