Mobile adhoc networks MANETs are infrastructure less wireless networks. Most of the devices in MANETs are battery operated. battery life is a precious resource in mobile adhoc networks. Power aware routing protocols work on minimum consumption of battery life of the nodes of the MANET. In this paper a new protocol for power aware routing has been proposed. The proposed algorithm reduces the number of nodes activated in transferring packet from one node to another in MANET. simulation results confirm that the proposed algorithm performs better as compared to existing algorithms.

The scope of this research is to aggregate news contents that exists in data streams. A data stream may have several research issues. A user may only be interested in a subset of these research issues; there could be many different research issues from multiple streams, which discuss similar topic from different perspectives. A user may be interested in a topic but do not know how to collect all feeds related to this topic. The objective is to cluster all stories in the data streams into hierarchical structure for a better serve to the readers. The work utilizes segment wise distributional clustering that show the effectiveness of data streams. To better serve the news readers, advance data organization is highly desired. Once catching a glimpse of the topic, user can browse the returned hierarchy and find other stories/feeds talking about the same topic in the internet. The dynamically changing of stories needs to use the segment wise distributional clustering algorithm to have the capability to process information incrementally.

since the end of Dennard scaling in the early 2000s, improving the energy efficiency of computation has been the main concern of the research community and industry. The large energy efficiency gap between general-purpose processors and application-specific integrated circuits (AsICs) motivates the exploration of customizable architectures, where one can adapt the architecture to the workload. In this synthesis lecture, we present an overview and introduction of the recent developments on energy-efficient customizable architectures, including customizable cores and accelerators, on-chip memory customization, and interconnect optimization. In addition to a discussion of the general techniques and classification of different approaches used in each area, we also highlight and illustrate some of the most successful design examples in each category and discuss their impact on performance and energy efficiency. We hope that this work captures the state-of-the-art research and development on customizable architectures and serves as a useful reference b.s.s for further research, design, and implementation for large-scale deployment in future computing systems.

A wireless sensor network could be either homogeneous network or heterogeneous network. Depending upon the nature of application requirements a wireless sensor node could either be static or mobile one. When the nodes are static, data collection by the sink from various sources will be difficult and time consuming process. Also static deployment of sink as well as source nodes lead to energy hole problem because the nodes in one hop neighbor of sink must always be active to transmit the data from the sources down to it. This energy hole problem leads to network partition and reduction in life time of any wireless sensor network. so, to increase the lifetime of a wireless sensor network and energy efficient routing mobile sink b.s.d approach could be used. Due to the mobility of sink data collection will be carried out faster in time and energy hole problem could be eliminated. Introduction of a single mobile sink also leads to a problem like coverage area, time delay due to obstacles, interference or limited entry and pause time, time synchronization between the source and sink, link failure or node failure and so on. by considering the residual energy of each node and reliable data transfer in a wireless sensor network a new cluster b.s.d approach using controlled flooding is proposed with multiple mobile sink for prolonging the life time of a wireless sensor network. Irrespective of the medium this approach uses predetermined and controlled mobility model for determining the direction of movement for mobile sink. This approach uses some set of rules for path reconstruction phase with limited flooding of update message consisting of current location of the sink and Time Of Arrival (TOA). simulation result shows that the multiple mobile sink with reduced reconstruction of route has improved the energy efficiency and increased lifetime of wireless sensor network.

In a collaborative learning environment, transfer of knowledge depends strongly on sociocultural factors including the interaction among the learners as well as the interactions with the instructor. An understanding of some of the factors that affect the dynamics of learners and learning can be gleaned through the use of social network analysis (sNA). Even a single time-slice of the social network of a class, which shows the social ties between the students, can reveal much about a student's position in the network, which may affect what and how a student learns and his/her problem solving ability. This paper presents a study of the levels of the social network of students in an engineering project course. The analysis is done in the context of a design task given to small teams of students. The quality of the final design is evaluated using a rubric that yields a quantifiable result. We relate the team members' perceptions of their network with the problem solving ability of the team. We found significant correlations between a team's project score and a team's balance as well as with the individual student's perception of their team balance, although the sample size was small. In this context, the balance of a team is the degree to which feelings are reciprocated, as discussed in section 3. The perception of team balance, or the levels of the social network, is discussed in section 6. The levels of social network analysis uncovers whether team members correctly perceive the relationships among their teammates. These initial findings open opportunities for future work on the role social network analysis can play in the analysis of collaborative learning. © American society for engineering Education, 2015.

In recent years, most of the companies have increasingly realized the importance of the knowledge sharing portal and E-Learning portals to provide competitive knowledge for their employees. The knowledge stored in these portals varies from technical, process and project knowledge functional or domain specific knowledge to face the competitiveness among other companies or organizations, especially in industrialized countries. More than three-fourths of organizations have focused on their investment in technology and process trends that encourage user collaboration through Knowledge sharing and e-Learning Portals. There are many number of challenges in evaluating the effectiveness of the E-Learning Portals and Knowledge Portals. We calculate the energy distribution associated with a static spherically symmetric non-singular phantom black hole metric in Einstein＇s prescription in general relativity. As required for the Einstein energy-momentum complex, we perform the calculations in quasi-Cartesian coordinates. We also calculate the momentum components and obtain a zero value, as expected from the geometry of the metric.
