This paper presents the development of a cost effective, self-sustainable and solar rechargeable smart farming product based on embedded IoT and providing end to end solution using the cutting edge LoRa technology. It portrays the innovative methods developed to monitor ambient parameters using the LoRa LPWAN. The product leverages the capabilities of the Arduino Mini MCU capitalizing the low power and ultra-low power optimization techniques to enhance self-sustainability of the device. It also provides an insight of the alternative, creative approaches developed for some soil sensors (NPK and pH) to make the product cost-effective. These real time ambient data & parametric trends can be monitored over the cloud at user's convenience on an android application.

A corona virus has infected more than 36,087,836 people and 1,055,387 Deaths since December 2019. As it rapidly spreads across the planet, scientists and public-health experts are racing to slow down the spreading and trying to find methodologies to detect it. To do that, they need to understand the new virus. It's called severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2, or SARS-CoV-2. There are different ways to diagnose the COVID-19, but they are cost-effective and increasing the time taken to produce, buy using chest x-ray we can reduce cost and result in time. but to diagnose x-ray's we need expert radiotherapists. Thus, we developed a model that automatically detect COVID and non-COVID X-rays. These days Deep Learning algorithms showing the foremost results in Disease classification. Also, features learned by pre-trained Convolution Neural Networks (CNN) models on large-scale datasets are much useful in image classification tasks. we train and test our model to analyze the images as COVID or normal. we analytically determine the optimal CNN model for the purpose. The accuracy metrics are used to validate the classification of the model.

The proposed design is an automatic system that aids the famers in irrigation process. It keeps notifying the farmer through an on-board LCD display and messages that is sent on the farmer's cellular number. This proposed design is also helpful for the farmers who are facing power failure issues to maintain a uniform water supply due to power failure or inadequate and non-uniform water supply. The automatic irrigation system also keeps the farmer updated with all the background activities through a SIM900 Module that sends messages on the registered number. This device can be a turning point for our society. The device is easily affordable by the farmers of the country. This proposed design is helpful for reducing the human labour. This is a low budget system with an essential social application.

Mammographic image enhancement algorithms form an essential part of Computer Aided Detection techniques (CAD) for breast cancer. The performance measures for evaluation (of these enhancement algorithms) should be such that they not only assess the degree of improvement of image from original in terms of pixels related values but also measure the utility of mammogram in terms of its improvement for diagnostic purposes. This paper introduces a new quality index for mammogram enhancement algorithms, which could be used as tool to evaluate the performance of CAD techniques (for breast cancer). The evaluation procedure involves extraction of statistical parameters from the foreground and background regions of the targeted region-of interest in mammograms. The extracted features are then combined using non-linear operators to yield the proposed quality index. Mammograms from MIAS database are used to validate the performance of the proposed index during simulations.
