Many companies are redefining their business strategies to improve the business output. Business over internet provides the opportunity to customers and partners where their products and specific business can be found. Web usage mining is the type of web mining activity that involves the automatic discovery of user access patterns from web servers. A real-world challenging task of the web master of an organization is to match the needs of user and keep their attention in their web site. So, web pages can capture the intuition of the user and provide them with the recommendation list. Personalize e-commerce website is done after knowing the habits and behavior patterns of customers e-commerce website using web usage mining with association rules mining apriori algorithms. The method used is a method of analysis and design. In the method of analysis, research variables are determined, and data of sales are collected. In addition, the method of analysis is also performed to measure the accuracy of the apriori algorithm. Designing apriori, program design, and the design of the screen is done in the design method. Results are achieved in the form of an e-commerce website that is personalized using association rules mining apriori algorithm that can recommend the goods in accordance with the preferences and needs of the user. The conclusion of this study is to obtain patterns of association, it takes the data transactions made by customers and the recommendations given by the apriori algorithm would be more accurate if the transaction data is processed more, the categories of goods are fewer, the limit minimum value of support and the limit minimum value of confidence are high. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2023.

The scenario of online learning is a very urgent need in the world of future knowledge. Since the Corona Virus Disease-19 pandemic, the world economy has started to plummet and caused many adults to lose their jobs. The advantage is the flexibility and rapid development of the internet. In 2020, the number of unemployed increased significantly. This reason makes people strive to improve their ability to meet job requirements by taking online courses. Online courses are a way that people can choose to improve their skills anywhere and anytime. The sustainability of online course material that is offered to the course user and issued by the company will be discussed in this study. The novelty of this research is to obtain a decision support model based on fuzzy logic for determining online courses. The method used is decision-making based on UML and fuzzy logic for the final decision. The fuzzy inference model process begins by determining the decision parameters then using fuzzification with absolute input then refracted with fuzzy criteria, and ends with defuzzification with absolute output. There are two groups of parameters in this study, company profits which consist of 5 parameters and user benefits, which consist of 9 parameters. Once the model is verified and valid, the final decision is useful for users looking for online course and also useful for the decision unit of online course companies in determining the sustainability of online course materials. © 2022 IEEE.

This study presents a comprehensive approach to IT asset security risk management in physical access control systems, integrating NIST SP 800-116, 800-53, 800-30, ISO 31000, and 27002:2022 standards. Using a mixed-method approach, we conducted interviews, discussion forums, and observations with IT and security professionals in manufacturing and insurance sectors in Indonesia. Our findings reveal seven key factors crucial for physical security of IT assets, including policies, access authorization, and environmental controls. The study proposes a risk assessment model that determines authentication factor levels based on risk severity. Results indicate discrepancies between current practices and recommended security levels, particularly in server rooms and production areas. We provide a set of control recommendations aligned with ISO 27002:2022 to enhance physical security measures. This research contributes to both theory and practice by offering a holistic framework for managing physical security risks in IT environments, particularly relevant for organizations in emerging economies. © 2024 IEEE.

Humans are basically curious creatures. We always look for all the latest information through books or news. News usually contains tags or categories to make it easier to find similar news. It can be done manually by a human or with a machine to make it easier. Data mining techniques such as clustering and classification can be used to help the categorization process. Clustering is a technique that can be used to grouped news based on their similarity. There is some algorithm that can be used to clustering data. One of them is Ant Colony Optimization (ACO). ACO is a metaheuristic algorithm that mimics how ants bring food to the colony. ACO also can be used to solve the clustering problem. In this paper, we will use the ACO version for clustering to cluster news and find the performance of the said method. Currently, digital online music increase significantly, both in terms of content and users. Increasing the number of digital music content every month conduce a lot of song catalog data and becoming unstructured and making it difficult for users to choose the songs they want to listen to. To make it easier for users to optimize a large number of subscribed music catalogs, a user-centric music recommendation system is needed that allows users to be able to manage catalogs of digital music content according to their needs. This study examines how to implement song recommendation system using collaborative filtering method in digital online music. This study uses 20,000 users, 6,000 songs and 470,000 transactions rating. Through those research, it is discovered that user-based collaborative technique that could make one system for clients will gather those playlist they really want to hear. © 2019 Association for Computing Machinery

Anticipating stock market movements is challenging, as hasty prediction risks large financial losses. Stock price prediction is complex due to the high volatility and many influencing external factors. Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) models are made to learn time series data making it ideal for stock prediction based on records. Well-known RNN architectures for forecasting problems are Long-Short Term Memory (LSTM) and Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU). However, past studies only explored standalone models and have not generated convincing performance results. By integrating the efficiency of GRU to effectively handle shorter data sequences with LSTM's ability to capture long-term dependencies, our model aims to improve stock price forecasting accuracy by collaborating the strength between both architectures. The proposed model was used to forecast multivariate stock prices and evaluated using Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) and Mean Absolute Error (MAE). We found that parallelization of LSTM-GRU offers better prediction, up to 9.1% improvement compared to sequential LSTM-GRU and Bidirectional LSTM (Bi-LSTM). © 2024 IEEE.

The agricultural activities in the Vocational School of Agricultural Engineering (ESTVA) in Timor-Leste requires large quantities of water with high availability for the production and cultivation of plants. However, the crop results sometimes decrease due to challenges problem faced by the management of the water resources. This study aims to design an Internet of Things (IoT) based automatic control system to control water supply and maintain soil moisture conditions effectively. The evaluation of manual and automatic irrigation systems during the 21 days trial shows that the automatic system provides stable utilization of water with watering frequency of 274 occurs only in 12 days, with an amount of total watering of 35.3 L. Meanwhile, the manual system uses up to 49.8 L of water, which is 14.5 L more than the water spent by the automatic system. The results of the evaluation also indicate that automatic system obtains the average moisture value of 509 with a standard deviation of 63, which is smaller than the manual system that obtains an average moisture value of 559 and a significant standard deviation of 126. From these results, the automatic system is more effective in maintaining the soil moisture level and yet requires less water compared to the manual watering system. Furthermore, the quality and productivity of the growth of mustard seedlings with automatic system prove that the seeds are more stable and feasible to continue transplanting since the automatic system produces 12 more mustard trees compared to the manual system. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2023.

This research focused on social media applications that had been used by large-scale users. Data might be in the form of text, image, video, each with its own data processing complexity. In this study, the researchers had performed a systematic review of literature on the development and usage of crowdsourcing data collection in recent days, with a range of techniques/methods/approaches to present meaningful data results/conclusions for environmental management. From the collected references, it is found that most papers discuss the monitoring and planning the environment through the use of social media data. An in-depth review of the literature was performed on the state-of-the-art environmental monitoring and planning and the general architecture of the data crowdsourcing system. Finally, based on the literature review, the challenge of data crowdsourcing for environmental monitoring and planning is identified and addressed. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Content based recommendation system tries to recommend items similar to those a given user has likely in the past, whereas systems designed according to the collaborative recommendation paradigm identify users whose preferences are similar to those of the given user and recommend items they have liked. The proposed recommendation system is discussing about Data finitihotel recommendations for a place across U.S. The selected process for the recommendation is calculating the rating of hotel categories on the city. By calculating hotel categories from several city by combining two features namely categories and taken from the city of the selected hotelcategory as well. The insurance industry faces a significant challenge concerning insurance claims, particularly due to the prevalence of fraudulent insurance claims. To address this issue, one potential solution is the implementation of a computer-based decision model. This research presents a fuzzy decision model based on object-oriented method development. The study involves seven stages (i.e. case analyzing, parameter analyzing, objects-parameters linking, detail object relation constructing, parameter exchange analyzing, OOFDM constructing, and model verifying and validating), with an object-oriented approach serving as the foundational method for constructing the model, and fuzzy logic as the primary method for assessing claim risks in proposing the best decision. The model has the capability to simulate insurance claims and offers objective decisions based on 19,611 claims data, categorizing them into two decision categories: acceptance and pending. © 2023 IEEE.
