The production gap between oil palm smallholder-owned plantations and corporations shows a real problem in the national palm oil industry. To reduce the gap, user-friendly assistance for smallholder-owned plantations is needed for the cultivation of sustainable palm oil production. Android-based software can be a platform for bridging the transfer of knowledge and technology, transfer of problems, and transfer of solutions between planters and experts. The platform development was formulated in five stages which began with Learning Management System (LMS) application development, identification of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Best Management Practices (BMP) materials, development of digital contents, uploading the digital content to the LMS server, and dissemination. The curriculum in the application platform was prepared based on the needs of the growers according to the identification results of the farmers' profiles. The curriculum consists of GAP and BMP material blocks. Each block was divided into discussion topics. The digital contents related to GAP and BMP were set in the LMS, which was built using Moodle platform.

The attendance management system is a system that needed for learning activity in a University. In some University, the attendance management system has been used tapping system which using NFC technology. Actually, that attendance management system is effective for managing each of attendance information. However, until now we can still see many cheats for this attendance system. For example, leave their cards to their classmates and tell them to tap for them. For that, one of the many effective solutions to resolve that problem is to add face recognition technology in the current attendance system. In our experiment, we know that to add face recognition to the current attendance management system surely need a camera and also face dataset for the system. At the beginning, we need at least 9 images with different emotions and face positions to let the system recognizes one's face. To make this system more accurate at recognizing one's face, we would update the face dataset in every face recognizing process.

The palm oil business employs almost 20 million people, generates USD 21 billion in revenue, and plays a vital role in Indonesia’s social economy. The Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) to Palm Oil Mills (POM) distribution system is one important aspect of fruit quality. Three steps are involved in getting Oil Palm FFB from the plantation to the POM. The first part of the procedure involves cutting FFB from the tree, the second stage involves gathering the fruit at a fruit collection point (FCP), and the third stage involves transporting the fruit to the palm oil mill (POM). As of now, the cost of the FFB transportation is still considerable, accounting for roughly 15% to 20% of the FFB pricing. The use of the Business Intelligence (BI) idea in the oil palm harvesting system is presented in this study as a foundation for creating web-based applications.

Knowledge Management System (KMS) which includes knowledge creation, knowledge storage, knowledge transfer, and the application of that knowledge within the organization to create work effectiveness and efficiency by bringing pre-existing knowledge as a basis for decision-making and work guidelines. PT. XYZ Indonesia is a company engaged in the amino acid industry that has just implemented a Knowledge Management System (KMS) in early 2022. Competition between industries is very common in order to win business competition to get big profits. This success is highly dependent on human resources as businesspeople who run the company's wheels with the knowledge they have. Hiring employees from competitors is one of the fastest ways to get qualified and ready-to-use human resources. With a high employee turnover rate due to the increasing number of first-generation employees in the 1990s retiring, it is very necessary for company knowledge management to avoid loss of company knowledge. It takes knowledge transfer between employees for continuous work processes. The purpose of this study is to find out how business processes can run by implementing a Knowledge Management System (KMS). The results of the knowledge management analysis in the company found that there is a web-based KMS application that functions to maintain and protect data and information so that it is not damaged and lost. The company has implemented explicit knowledge transfer through the add-user database system, employee data input, and employee absence system. In addition, companies still need to improve KM in the form of pages that can add tacit knowledge and display tacit knowledge to accommodate knowledge from employees, so that employee performance can be maximized. The implementation of a website based KMS is expected to be a solution to the need to share knowledge that is not hindered by time and geographical location constraints. This KMS application produces training information, trainer evaluat

With the sudden attack of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), some 300 million children in the world have been forced to study at home because of the mass closure of schools that began on March 18, 2020. This has caused many obstacles in the teaching and learning process. Every effort is made to minimize the COVID-19 pandemic while ensuring the teaching and learning process is not interrupted. If the school closures too long and the child is trapped inside the house this will have a negative impact on the physical and mental health of the children. This situation makes parents become worried and look for alternative education in addition to formal schooling for their children. Of the various types of education offers that exist homeschooling or commonly known as home-based learning provides a way out for the current situation. Now children are quarantined in their homes and they will return to school once this epidemic fades. But with this disaster, parents' views on homeschooling or home-based learning can be different from before. They may still be marked if home-based learning can be a long-term education. With the existence of COVID-19, most parents might finally realize that education without formal schooling is not a crisis but an opportunity to take their children to a better future. This research was conducted by utilizing a descriptive qualitative method and within the descriptive qualitative method, the concept of document analysis would be utilized the most. It was expected that the results of this research would explore what type of technology parents could prepare for their children to use to initiate home-based learning.

Owing to the advances in computational techniques and the increase in computational power, atomistic simulations of materials can simulate large systems with higher accuracy. Complex phenomena can be observed in such state-of-the-art atomistic simulations. However, it has become increasingly difficult to understand what is actually happening and mechanisms, for example, in molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. We propose an unsupervised machine learning method to analyze the local structure around a target atom. The proposed method, which uses the two-step locality preserving projections (TS-LPP), can find a low-dimensional space wherein the distributions of data points for each atom or groups of atoms can be properly captured. We demonstrate that the method is effective for analyzing the MD simulations of crystalline, liquid, and amorphous states and the melt-quench process from the perspective of local structures. The proposed method is demonstrated on a silicon single-component system, a silicon-germanium binary system, and a copper single-component system.

The article discusses the digital transformation of media collections in the library. Research that illustrates how processing collection over media, obstacles faced by the Library Service of the Province of South Sumatra. The study used a qualitative descriptive method with the aim of getting a more detailed description of the processing of collections over media. Data collection techniques in the study were carried out by observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews with the head of the library, the head of conservation, the media transfer section, and librarians. The results of the study showed that the processing of media transfer collections consisted of three stages after the media transfer. The main obstacle in processing the transfer of media is the lack of human resources that are competent in the field of media transfer besides that, inadequate facilities due to lack of available budget. Digitizing the library may help library and the users to step toward the sustainable future, because digital libraries are the future. Digital technologies consistently help to reduce paper and energy waste and decrease the overall habit of students in copying pages from the printed books.

Politic is one of the most favorite topics to discuss in social media for people in Indonesia. It was proven when a people movement to support the Commission of Corruption Eradication (KPK) named #SaveKPK has been enlived for ten years and become a trending topic on Twitter for several times. In this research, all tweets contain `#SaveKPK' are crawled and compiled using an alternative algorithm to get twitter historical data instead of using Twitter API. The result described the characteristic of the dataset statistically, from the most frequently used words to the most active users. A clustering algorithm named Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) was run over the gathered text dataset to discover most relevant keywords using unsupervised learning approach.

In carrying out drilling projects at PT China Oilfields Services Limited ( COSL) Indo, especially Project 1 to Project 4, there were a mismatch between the initial plan of the project and the actualisation in the field because there were inhibiting factors in implementing the project. The purpose of the research was to look the factors that caused for the additional time in well drilling project at PT. COSL Indo, to build a relationship model of these factors, and formulate a strategy for the company to be able to overcome the occurrence of additional time in the future project. Data analysis was conducted by using a factor analysis method and the location of the research was carried out in just one company with 102 valid respondents. The results of the research indicate that there are four factors that influence the time gap, namely Project Management Activities, Risk Analysis and Procurement, Manage Stairs, and Project Planning Development. By knowing the causes of the delay, companies can find the best solutions for future learning and the impact on environmental, social and economic problems can also be anticipated so that sustainable development occurs in the context of petroleum management.
