This paper provides information about open source softwares that most often used as a tool to analyze data generated from the Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometer (LC-MS) instrument and including a little discussion about how LC-MS works. LC-MS consists of Liquid Chromatography and Mass Spectrometer analytical instruments. This device extensively used in Metabolomics, because it provides more comprehensive information about the metabolites. It also shows the breadth of the diversity of chemical compounds in metabolites that make difficult and time-consuming to identification of metabolite's structures. This is an obstacle in efficient and accurate identification. So, many open source softwares developed to simplify and speed up the analysis and interpretation of LC-MS result. There are popular open source softwares. We compiling mini review of this open source softwares. The conclusion is open source softwares quite helpful in terms of data analysis and interpretation of compounds contained, but no one has provided a single interpretation, still need experts for reliable interpretation. © 2019 IEEE.

Performance of news clustering using ant colony optimization

Humans are basically curious creatures. We always look for all the latest information through books or news. News usually contains tags or categories to make it easier to find similar news. It can be done manually by a human or with a machine to make it easier. Data mining techniques such as clustering and classification can be used to help the categorization process. Clustering is a technique that can be used to grouped news based on their similarity. There is some algorithm that can be used to clustering data. One of them is Ant Colony Optimization (ACO). ACO is a metaheuristic algorithm that mimics how ants bring food to the colony. ACO also can be used to solve the clustering problem. In this paper, we will use the ACO version for clustering to cluster news and find the performance of the said method. Then we compare the result with ground truth.

As a company which relates its customer service, a software company (this case is PT Boon Software) is induced to give the good service to its customer. The existing information technology (IT) system service is made by patchwork. It brings some problems in service catalog, problem managment, change management, and service level agreement (SLA). The purpose of this research is to implement helpdesk system to software company with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework as a standard reference to solve various problem related information technology service on a company. This research starts by investigation all stakeholders of the company with some questionnares. Implementation ITIL is strated by finding the gap between the current condition and the standard base line in ITIL. After implementation IT service using ITIL, the stakeholders are asked the same questionnares. The result shows that there is significant different before and after implementing system service using ITIL. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Lockdown strategy worth lives: The SEIRD modelling in COVID-19 outbreak in Indonesia

Lockdowns, despite their conflicting restrictions and consequences they might offer when enforced as a national strategy, are deemed to be suggestive for a prompt conquer to the Coronavirus Disease-19 (COVID-19) outbreak. There have been some success stories such as in China, South Korea and our ASEAN member fellow, Vietnam, which exhibited extremely fallen numbers of COVID-19 cases post the enforcement of lockdown. Indonesia, however, remains in the crux of dispute whether or not the lockdown is opted to force COVID-19 transmission down under control. We, in this respect, employ the most popular model which has been broadly applied in the field of epidemiology, referred to as SEIRD (Susceptible, Exposed, Infectious, Recovered, and Death), the extension form of an age-structured SEIR, where the Death (D) is included to provide more factual situation. We modify the I (Infectious) fraction as symp-tomatic (Is) and asymptomatic (Ia) infectives. There are three lockdown scenarios simulated in our modified SEIRD with the starting date are 26 April 2020 when the immediate lockdown was enacted-and a-week and two-week-gaps, respectively. We figured out that by stipulating the lockdown without delay (26 April 2020), the new cases could be kept below 10,000. A week delay escalates case number to 5,000 and delay for one more week results in beyond 20,000 new cases. Furthermore, when the intervention is delayed following the delayed lockdown, normalization would demand a longer period within which dealing with more critical and dying patients is unavoidable and should be more anticipated.

Clustering steam user behavior data using K-Prototypes algorithm

The usage of user telemetry to gather player behavioral data on video games can be very beneficial to game developers with a certain business model. With the help of user telemetry in game development, it can provide access to data on user behavior from installed game clients' platform such as Steam. These behavioral data can be used to find out the Steam user behavioral patterns on playtime distributions that can be studied by developers in order to have a deeper understanding of the behaviors of their players. In this study, the data are clustered using the k-prototypes algorithm, a combination of k-means and k-modes algorithm that can be used to cluster mixed attributes. The result shows that the clusters represent the types and preferences of the players.

As the executor of the transfer of civil servants, BKD (Badan Kepegawaian Daerah) is required for professionals in carrying out their duties in mutation positions for civil servants. This study implements a mutation system for civil servants by using Naive Bayes Classifier Algorithm. This study is implemented in Secretariat District Regency of Pelalawan, Riau Indonesia, This system uses some attributes such as age, total work period, education background and implemented on a web based application. This approach is an approximation to Bayes theorem which is the principle of statistical opportunity to combine previous knowledge with new knowledge. This system is very effective classification algorithm (get the right results) and efficient which can be a basic reason in mutation civil servants.

It is difficult for small businesses to evolve without utilizing an adequate system which is able to manage information within the business entity efficiently. The reporting system commonly used utilizes query which consumes a large amount of time in order to generate results fulfilling requirements set by the user. In order to simplify and speed up reporting in digital world and eventually results in improvement of business, the business entity needs a system which can address problems quickly and easily. In this paper, data warehouse system which could simplify and speed up the reporting provisions that is needed by the business without having to modify the existing query being implemented. With Kimball approaches, the data to be reported could be customized in various forms in accordance with the requirements set by the entity.

The proposed idea to improve the usage of an autonomous vehicle to increase safe driving based on the DARPA project, which already has shown the bright future of the autonomous vehicle. This paper proposes a new idea regarding the sensors and the autonomous vehicle framework, such as the usage of some algorithms and new UI along with the data logger. Moreover, the use of a LIDAR sensor is extended, along with a stereo camera and also ultrasonic sensor to make it more precise. Then, a calibration system is made for the stereo camera, which will take help from the ultrasonic sensor. Not the only ultrasonic, camera, and LIDAR, and IMU and GPS sensor are used to know the angle of x, y, and z of our vehicle. Both IMU and GPS are helping in the perception and mostly in the RNDF Localization that will be used in the pathfinding, planning, and control. The global Dynamic-Window approach is applied for the path selection algorithm and combining it with the Autonomous System Approach. The speed selection algorithm will decide on the speed limit and the camera. Not only that but the implement the Inter-Vehicle Algorithm is implemented, which makes the vehicles can exchange information with the other vehicles in the radius of the vehicle. Which all of this together can make a safer driving environment, not only for cars but another vehicle as well. Hope this framework can be used for any other vehicle project and becoming the base of all autonomous vehicle.

Sustainability of the Water Footprint of Various Soil Types on Oil Palm Plantations

There are significant studies that have quantified oil palm water footprint as an indicator of environmental sustainability but an estimation of water footprint under varying soil types furthermore is still limited. The objectives of the study were to estimate whether annual variations of soil type and yields significantly effects for the oil palm water footprint. The data from three types of soil (spodosol, inceptisol, ultisol) were collected from an oil palm plantation in Pundu village, Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. To perform the water footprint analysis we utilize water balance accounting equations via application Cropwat 8.0. From that, we determine the crop irrigation scheduling to compute the blue, green, and grey water footprint of oil palm fresh fruit bunch in the area. Our analysis found that the actual evapotranspiration of spodosol and inceptisol have the same value: 1242 mm/year whilst ultisol is 1239 mm/year. The total water footprint of oil palm varied considerably with the largest value being 1310.04 m3/ton for ultisol. The actual evapotranspiration of spodosol and inceptisol have the same value of 1242 mm/year whilst ultisol is 1239 mm/year. The higher production resulted in a lower water footprint and vice versa. Moreover, the total water footprint from ultisol soil type has the highest value due to the lowest yields. The difference in evapotranspiration value resulted in the insignificant value of total water footprint. The lower water availability, the lower water use, and the higher actual irrigation requirement in oil palm plantation yet showed the unnotable impact on water footprint in different soil types for the oil palm plantation.

Religion is a part of a fundamental human right to serve and worship their God according to their religion and belief. Mobile game application along with the development of mobile phone technology such as a smartphone, tablet, and laptop, can be used to increase the player or user interest to engage with religion thing. Using the mobile game application in mobile gadgets will expand quickly to install and use for religion engagement. The player can learn religion things with fun and entertain ways, where the player does not realize that they do something serious in an unserious way. This paper will explain the model system design for mobile game application for learning Catholicism in fun and entertaining way and for the first development was limited to only three Catholic catechisms such as bible learning, church lesson, and liturgy celebration. For the early development, three types of games were developed such as True or False game, Scramble words game, and multiple-choice game. The mobile game model was designed with a use case diagram, storyboard, and class diagram, where for the current implementation the mobile game application was implemented using a ten tables database. © 2019 IEEE.
