Every enterprise stores and operates its transactions confidentially, therefore it has to encrypt the transaction to protect it from data intruders. Technically, most encryption processes are ranging from hundreds of milliseconds. If there is a lot of encrypting process, then the performance will be getting bottleneck and the transaction's speed is being slowed down. In this paper, a promising scheme by adding GZIP compression on the former RSA encryption method to increase speed is proposed;thus every transaction is going to require less times, therefore the number of failed transactions or requests will be reduced. Hence, this way makes the transaction easier for customers to do. The result of little experimental test shows that using XOR to stream cipher-text to replace the absent of padding into specific bytes shows a lot of performance increase resulting other factors such as availability also affected without sacrificing the security level. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The problem of reporting service in *** is the complexity of the query to take the data from the table in oracle. There are many table to be processed for the data, because of that it's hard to show the report quickly. PT XYZ needs fast and reliable report to be shown, especially for control or audit. The suggested solution is to use data warehouse, because it has more structured storage and the data can be analysed by OLAP analysis that has the capability to show the data quickly. Data warehouse development was done through nine step that has been designed by Kimball and Ross. With this solution, PT XYZ has the capability to maintain quality of the product by monitoring the process and the data. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Currently, digital online music increase significantly, both in terms of content and users. Increasing the number of digital music content every month conduce a lot of song catalog data and becoming unstructured and making it difficult for users to choose the songs they want to listen to. To make it easier for users to optimize a large number of subscribed music catalogs, a user-centric music recommendation system is needed that allows users to be able to manage catalogs of digital music content according to their needs. This study examines how to implement song recommendation system using collaborative filtering method in digital online music. This study uses 20,000 users, 6,000 songs and 470,000 transactions rating. Through those research, it is discovered that user-based collaborative technique that could make one system for clients will gather those playlist they really want to hear. © 2019 Association for Computing Machinery

Weighted Longest Increasing Subsequence (WLIS) and its improvement, Best Increasing Subsequence (BIS) are two methods that has been proposed for pair verification in object instance recognition using local features. Tested on the Stanford Mobile Visual Dataset (SMVS), the BIS achieves better performance than WLIS on most categories, except for the 'video frames' category. In this paper we propose several modifications to BIS which resulted in a better overall performance compared to the WLIS and the basic BIS approaches. On average, the proposed Best Score Increasing Subsequence (BSIS) performs 4.53% better than the BIS and 9.43% better than the WLIS. © 2019 IEEE.

Preference Elicitation is now considered a crucial stage in recommender system. That is the stage where we collect and query preferences of the users as part of interactive decision support system. Preference elicitation can be performed using many ways, such as asking the user explicitly to give ratings or feedbacks for some products, or implicitly observing their behaviour. Once this preference has been collected by the system, it can then be used to generate item recommendation. Using explicit feedback itself, such as rating only, has several drawbacks. Using ratings is very subjective. Two users with similar taste might give different rating to the same item. A user also may not be consistent in giving number to express their liking. In other case, a user may like an item more than the other items, but feels difficult to give lower rating on the other item, because it means that the particular item is just as bad as the one he/she does not like. By showing two different items as a pair, it will be easier for the users to pick which one is the best. In this paper, we show the result of our experiment in predicting user pairwise preferences by using their movie ratings data. We evaluated five different machine learning algorithms to predict the data in pairwise preference format. The result shows that K-Nearest Neighbour and Random Forest outperformed the other algorithms. © 2020 IEEE.

Directorate General of Taxes for Republic of Indonesia has an internal unit named data processing centre (DPC) that has main duty to process paper tax return delivered from tax office. DPC practically implemented new tax return processing system to replace the old system, however the performance of the new system was not on a par with the old one, at the beginning. Then, DPC made several improvements to increase new system's performance. This study aims to measure the improvements made by DPC by using Six Sigma approach. The approach is functioned to assess data processing performance through DMAIC concept: i.e. define, measure, analyse, improve, and control. With the DMAIC concept, improvement exposes better result, the average value of six sigma significantly escalated by 0.97 to 2.56. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Text mining can be used to classify opinions about complaints or not complaints experienced by XL customers. This study aims to find and compare classifications in the sentiments of analysis from the view of XL customers. This dataset was derived from tweets of XL customers written on myXLCare Twitter account. In text mining techniques, "transform case", "tokenize", "token filters by length", "n-gram", "stemming" were used to build classification and sentiments of analysis. Gataframework tools were used to help during preprocessing and cleansing processes. RapidMiner is used to help create the sentiment of analysis to search and compare two different classifications methods between datasets using the Naïve Bayes algorithm only and Naïve Bayes algorithm with Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE). The results of the two methods in this study found that the highest results were using the Naïve Bayes algorithm with Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) with an accuracy of 86.33%, precision 82.85%, and recall ratio 92.38%. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Channa striata or the striped snakehead fish is one of snakehead fish species which inhabits all types of freshwater bodies distributed across Asian countries. Because this fish is known to have higher albumin fraction (64.61%) of protein and other economic values, domestication, and cultivation of this fish has been done in many Asian countries such as Indonesia, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Bangladesh, and India. Environmental factors such as temperature, water pH, dissolved oxygen, total dissolved solids, and turbidity are important parameters must be considered inbreeding and growing this type of fish. The aim of this paper is to propose an IoT solution to automatically monitor these environmental factors. It is designed with affordable and open-source electrical components to provide a cost-efficient solution for farmers. Five sensors are used to measure each parameter. A web application prototype is also presented as a companion application for the users to get useful information from the IoT device. It is developed using a Pythonframework. By accessing this web application, the users can immediately detect any abnormal conditions of the pond. © 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Count time series modelling of Twitter data topic modelling: A case of Indonesia flood events

Twitter data provide rich and powerful information to leverage the dynamics of public perception to establish situational awareness and disaster mitigation strategies during critical times. In this paper, we perform topic modeling via Latent Dirichlet Allocation to extract topics from a collection of tweets related to Indonesia flood events in February 2021 with the query: “banjir”. The extracted topics are used as one of the features to build a generalized linear count time series model with Negative Binomial distribution. We find seven major topics from the model in which tweets containing a topic about the government’s role in handling the situation dominate the conversation. Taking into account a simple intervention analysis, we demonstrate a statistically significant change in the users’ behavior before and after the severe Jakarta flood on 20 February 2021. Moreover, a metric evaluation demonstrates that a covariate that describes the turning point of the Jakarta flood event is convenient to build a more accurate count time series model of the tweets.

Personnel and education data very important for organizations, including the military. All data related to military personnel will give effect positions and careers in the military field. The integration of personnel and education data can assist in processing and decision making. An analysis is needed so that the developed system can be useful for the long term. Analysis with IT balanced scorecard and COBIT® 2019, will be able to help and fill the gaps in the existing system based on the objectives of the military organization itself. It is shown that the domains BAI05 (Managed Organizational Change) and DSS02 (Managed Service Requests and Incidents) are still not being implemented well. The system developed will have the features and capabilities to support the organization in achieving its goals, including in the field of staffing and education. Besides, it provides convenience in making decisions in terms of positions related to personnel careers. © 2020 IEEE.
