This exponential proliferation of IoT devices is creating an ever-growing demand for efficient cybersecurity solutions in resource-constrained environments. In this study, we propose Edge-IoTDistilBERT, a fine-tuned DistilBERT model, intended for the multi-class classification of network packet attacks within IoT ecosystems. Our proposed model was trained on the Edge-IIoT dataset, representative of all traffic classes and attack variants with high accuracy of up to 99.99%, outperforming state-of-the-art solutions. The new preprocessing pipeline of PCAP to text would transform the network traffic to a textual form allowing the model to learn the pattern in the dataset and making it able to generalize its content. Our fine-tuned model show a robust result on imbalanced dataset with two diffrent splits namely 80–20 and 70–30. The result shown by Edge-IoTDistilBERT place this model as a feasible effective cybersecurity solution for IoT networks, offering a good trade-off between high performance and resource constraints linked to edge devices.

The technique of calculating the work required for software development is known as software development estimation. The objective cost estimating technique for organizing and carrying out Multi Account Partner (MAP) software projects, COCOMO II, was employed in this study. The MAP software is a software architecture designed to support brokerage cryptocurrency exchanges using the order book and liquidity of established crypto exchanges. This research uses data sets from MAP project development at Indonesia Crypto Exchange Platform. It aims to create a software cost estimation model for MAP software using COCOMO II so that the resulting estimation model can be used as input or reference for estimates of subsequent MAP software development. The result estimated that MAP software finished in about four to five months, with a price range for software development of $7,441 to $8,780. Further research is needed with datasets from other crypto exchanges tested to increase cost estimation accuracy using COCOMO II.

Transformer models, originally successful in natural language processing, are now being applied to chemical and biological studies, excelling in areas such as molecular property prediction, material science, and drug discovery. BERT, a Transformer-based model, has become foundational in cheminformatics, particularly for QSAR (Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship) modeling and ADMET (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Excretion, and Toxicity) evaluations in drug discovery. However, achieving higher accuracy often requires designing more complex models, which can compromise their interpretability. This posing a challenge for researchers who need to understand the reasoning behind the predictions. The trade-off between accuracy and interpretability presents a critical challenge in applying black box models to real-world problems in cheminformatics. This work compares Transformer-based models with traditional machine learning and deep learning approaches, focusing on both interpretability and performance. The goal is to highlight the strengths and limitations of each method, offering insights into their optimal use in drug discovery and material science. © 2024 IEEE.

Smart Home technology offers technological concepts that can be controlled through smart devices to make it easier for the community. Therefore, smart home technology is starting to seize the home electronics market in Indonesia, especially in the city of Jakarta. This study aims to determine the integration of conventional technology into smart home technology for people in Jakarta. The research model in this study uses UTAUT2 which analyzes nine variables, namely Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Cost, Perceived Ease of Use, Social Influence, Perceived Compatibility, Trust, Perceived Pleasure, and Effort Expectations, Intention to Use Smart Home Technology. After the responses were received, data analysis was carried out using the PLS-SEM approach with the SmartPLS application. The results of this study show that there are many people who live in Jakarta who are helped by the presence of smart home technology. However, there are some people who don't really know how to use a smart home because of a lack of knowledge about this technology. © 2023 IEEE.

Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to human-like intelligence exhibited by computers, robots, or other machines. In popular use, artificial intelligence refers to the ability of a computer or machine to mimic the ability of the human mind to learn from examples and experiences, recognize objects, understand and respond to language, make decisions, solve problems, and combine these and other abilities to perform functions that humans might perform. Artificial intelligence requires experience and data to smarten up the technology. The most important things in making artificial intelligence are learning, reasoning, and self-correction. At the learning stage, AI gives machines the ability to learn tasks without requiring a defined programming language. Then, the reasoning stage is the stage where the reason AI is applied in a technology. The self-correction stage is the stage where the AI is refining itself from and learning from experience in order to minimize errors or problems that exist. Then, this matter is concerned with the parking lot to be discussed. Parking can be interpreted as public facilities available in agencies or offices that serve to store vehicles. Vehicles entering the parking area become tens or even thousands, because it requires a parking system and management area. Such arrangements are capable of parking procedures and even other support systems such as adequate parking facilities and infrastructure, and another function is to create and develop parking systems in general to provide safety and comfort. The methodology obtained from this problem is checking the research model to check and find out the comparison of vehicle user’s Parking System Security between cars or motorcycles, as well as the usual parking lots visited. Then, we created a questionnaire. This study used questionnaires with the aim to get respondents’ results about the Parking Security System. Stemming is the process of cutting affixes, both prefixes and suffixes from a term to get the root of the word that has affixes. Stemming can be done in any language, especially in Indonesia Language. Indonesian which is rooted in Malay and Sanskrit has a bigger influence on Language. The algorithm of stemming that has developed is the one that is based on the dictionary of a root word. This kind of algorithm was started by Nazief- Adriani and it grew up to be Confix Stripping (CS), and then was perfected to be Enhanced Confix Stripping (ECS). A scientometric analysis is a mathematical method used to identify academic publications related to citations and scientific matters and is intended for use in libraries or other fields. In this research, the publication of which using stemming algorithm selected and collected using keywords related to Nazief Adriani and ECS. The publications are collected from *** (an online database for advance scientific research). From those publication we did the analysis bibliometric help by the VOS Viewer application using the analysis technique of co-authorship and citation technique, and all done. The result are, from 310 publications that have keywords Nazief Adriani and 119 publications containing the keyword ECS, it was found that the owning documents will be the reference sources of the next research in which the most citation and co-authorship are found in Indonesia. © 2022 IEEE.

This study aims to identify the processes of UX designing a mobile application, Augmented Reality based on Gamification for Cultural Heritage Tourism, and to provide the prototype design and the testing result;this research employs the Design Thinking Method to design the prototype and uses the System Usability Scale (SUS) to identify and validate the testing result;the author establishes two research questions for this study, then explains the answers through a clear description of the stages of making a prototype which consists of the empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing stages, then to find out the testing results, the author uses the SUS method, scoring 88.5 in the excellent and acceptable categories;the originality of the research, this study provides the Design Thinking method to investigate the process of UX designing and the SUS Score method to calculate the resting result, helps build a complete understanding of developing the prototype and validation through testing comprehensively. © 2022 IEEE.

A wide variety of disciplines contribute to bioinformatics research, including computer science, biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics. This study determines the number of research articles published on arXiv classified as bioinformatics topics and the most frequently used bioinformatics terms using topic modeling, Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA). An algorithm based on LDA is used to discover topics hidden within large collections of documents through the use of statistical analysis. Our research examined 226453 articles on arXiv between January 2023 and January 2024. As a result, there are more than 10521 articles categorized into bioinformatics topics. Most commonly, 6352 documents are in the "Mathematical Physics" category. The second most popular category is "computer science," with 2950 documents. Accordingly, the terms 'RNA,' 'sequence,' 'tree,' and 'homology' are the three most commonly used terms in bioinformatics. The study of RNA plays a vital role in molecular biology;thus, the study of RNA is prevalent in bioinformatics. Sequential data refer to the order in which nucleotides or amino acids can be found in a DNA molecule or a protein. © 2024 The Authors.

Car spare parts are parts of a car that consist of components that form a certain unity and function, there are some parts that are damaged more often and therefore must be replaced more often. In this research, to predict the availability of spare parts using the times series moving average prediction method with random forest. The dataset used in this research is 19,068 consisting of location, transaction number, transaction date, part number, quantity and odo-km. Distribution of spare parts classified based on recapitulation of spare part distribution is RAE=54.5541% and RSE=63.8888%, distribution of spare parts based on location is RAE=55.5541% and RSE=65.2118%, maintenance based on ODO-KM is RAE=33.0949% and RSE=41.2241 % and distribution quantity RAE=33.749% and RSE=36.2317%. The results of spare part distribution analysis using the Confusion Matrix with probability accuracy are TP Rate=0.903, FP Rate=0.067, Precision=0.911, Recall=0.903, F-Measure=0.893, MCC=0.857, ROC Area=0.983 and PRC Area=0.948. The aim of this research is to determine the factors needed to build a machine learning-based spare parts distribution model, implementation, measurement and prediction in the automotive industry in Indonesia. © 2023 IEEE.
