In educational institutions, an educator is responsible for assessing the student's knowledge grasp through examination. Creating exam questions, even the low-level factoid questions, is time-consuming, especially for inexperienced educators. Therefore, this study aims to create a sequence-to-sequence model using CopyNet by exploiting its copying mechanism advantage to automatically generate Bahasa Indonesia factoid questions to ease the educator's burden. Indonesian records in the TyDi QA dataset are used as the model input. GRU and Bi-GRU are employed as the CopyNet encoder, while LSTM is used as the CopyNet decoder. The model that utilizes GRU as the encoder achieves BLEU1, BLEU2, BLEU3, BLEU4, and ROUGE-L scores of 0.28, 0.19, 0.14, 0.1, and 0.32, respectively. Bi-GRU utilization as the model encoder achieves BLEU1, BLEU2, BLEU3, BLEU4, and ROUGE-L scores of 0.26, 0.17, 0.12, 0.09, and 0.30, respectively. Models using either encoder still achieve low scores. However, compared with the previous work, the result is still on par regarding the BLEU score. Further examination found that the generated questions do not adhere to semantic and syntactical correctness. Adding more records to the dataset and utilizing a more advanced architecture like CopyBERT are encouraged to improve the model performance in future work. Despite the result, this study has shown that CopyNet, primarily designed for text summarization or single-turn dialogue, can be tailored for factoid question generation. © 2024 The Authors.

Enterprise Architecture Framework (EAF) is a commonly used framework and the best solution for addressing and defining the transformation that needs to be built to support business operations. To be able to make the transition quickly, many higher education institutions (HEIs) are starting to adopt EAF. This research aims to help the evolution and transpiration of enterprise architecture research in higher education. This research uses a systematic literature review (SLR) research method which includes several steps, namely identifying research questions, identifying research sources, using keywords to complete the data discovery process, disseminating data, and analyzing the results to answer research questions. The data used comes from digital libraries, especially Emerald Insight, IEEE Xplore Digital Library, and science Direct. Data taken from 2019 to 2023 in RIS format will then be analyzed and visualized using VosViewer. The results of this research are to find the growth of research publications over five years, find research trends on enterprise architecture frameworks, identify relationships between scientific concepts, and determine the knowledge network of enterprise architecture frameworks based on keywords. © 2023 IEEE.

Crop Yield Analysis and Prediction is a fast-expanding discipline that is critical for optimizing agricultural methods. A lack of trustworthy data is one of the challenges in estimating crop yields. We develop predictive models for 22 different fruits and vegetables data. The goals of this study are to create accurate and interpretable crop recommendation models. We used multiple machine learning (ML) models for multi-class crop production prediction to fulfill our research goal. We thoroughly examined the influence of climate and nutrient factors on crop yield, considering their complex interactions. To improve the dataset, augmented data techniques were applied. Configuring the parameters and fine-tuning the hyperparameters is our technique to increase the model performance. Furthermore, we employ explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) techniques and interpretability tools like Shapley Additive exPlanations (SHAP) to improve the interpretability of our prediction model. Our findings reveal that the XGBoost model has the best performance model with 99.86% accuracy, followed by SVM Poly Kernel with 99.32% and Random Forest with 98.82%. Feature selection and analysis are emphasized, particularly in regional agricultural contexts. This study contributes to the creation of accurate and interpretable crop recommendation models while also addressing the issue of untrustworthy data, providing useful insights for optimizing agricultural practices. © 2023 IEEE.

Although the parking lot is equipped with CCTV surveillance, car theft incidents still occur occasionally. These thieves exploit a loophole in the system that prevents the identification of the car's brand and model upon entering and exiting the parking lot using the same ticket. Therefore, the aim of this research is to develop a system capable of detecting the brand and model of cars. The study utilizes convolutional neural network technology and specifically focuses on the EfficientNet, MobileNet, and MobileNetV2 architectures due to their low resource requirements. Training images for the study are sourced from an online marketplace for used cars, with each of the 20 car brand and model variations consisting of 100 photographs. creates a model after being processed. For the prototype, the approach is put into practice through a mobile application. This study compares EfficientNet, MobileNetV1, and MobileNetV2 as the end result. EfficientNet scored 74%, MobileNetV1 74%, and MobileNetV2 66% on the test of accuracy. The accuracy increases to 80% after the EfficientNet has been tuned. © 2023 The Authors. The research was centered on adapting and assessing a new, unique game concept. The game onKeys presents a new approach and poses as an alternative method for improving typing skills. However, despite offering a promising avenue, the game still grapples with certain limitations. Utilizing the MDA Framework, the study seeks to integrate additional game components into onKeys and evaluate its effectiveness in improving typing skills. A paired T-test is used to assess the Pre-Test and Post-Test data. The System Usability Scale gathers subjective feedback about the game design’s usability. This study found that the onKeys game has little impact on players’ typing speed and accuracy, which may be attributed to a higher average typing speed, short period of playtime or a small sample size. However, upon reviewing the record and survey data, particularly the System Usability Score, it becomes evident that the game design still has potential. Further research can delve deeper into this game concept and design.

Electrodermal activity (EDA) is a general term for all electrical phenomena occurring on the skin, both passive and active. EDA measurements are used by researchers to measure levels of stress, emotion, mental strain, and so on. Measuring human stress levels, emotions, and mental strain are generally associated with the skin conductance response. The function GSR sensor is not only used to read people's psychology but also can be used as a pain sensor used to read the degree of pain in the skin. This pilot study uses sample data from ***. The *** data is galvanic skin response sensor data. The output of this sensor is the conductivity value that occurs in the skin. The data obtained from *** will be extracted using the mean, standard deviation, maximum, minimum, RMS, skewness, and peak-to-peak characteristics. The extracted functions are selected using the forward selection method. The results of the feature selection are three features with an accuracy percentage greater than 50%, namely the mean feature, the RMS feature, and the skewness feature. The machine learning models used are bagged tree, SVM, and K-NN models. Of the three models used, the bagged tree model has the highest accuracy rate, at 98.05%, with an F1 score is 0.9807. The KNN model with k=10 has the lowest level of accuracy compared to other models, at 96.75%. © 2023 IEEE.

Communication is a form of translation that human learns naturally since early childhood. Translating a language to another language has become instrumental when peoples interact with other people who speak a different language. One example of high-impact language translation is translating health protocols from the World Health Organization to many national languages to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. However, the language translation is not an easy computation task when there is a language-resource gap. This paper presents empirical results on the performance of the Long Short-term Memory model as a machine translation involving Bahasa Indonesia and the Sundanese languages. Performance of the Sundanese language to Indonesian language translation is 0.93 average training and validation accuracy and 0.91 average testings BLEU score. Whilst, Indonesian language to Sundanese language translation is 0.92 average training and validation accuracy and 0.88 average testings BLEU score. Both models achieve 0.39 average training loss and 0.38 average validation loss. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper discusses comprehensively the advanced technologies used in the implementation of smart services, which are key elements of a smart city. Smart cities are becoming eco-friendly, livable, and sustainable to deliver essential services to their citizens by leveraging internet and communication technology advancements. Starting from a short literature review about smart cities and smart services, a recent trend in the technology used to implement smart services is collected. Smart service can be defined as a service conveyed using intelligent products that possess awareness and connectivity. All kinds of smart services can be connected in smart cities to offer citizens comprehensive solutions. Pre-emptive services, self-services, or highly interactive services, for example, have the potential to be implemented using current technology such as the internet of things, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data, machine learning, machine-to-machine communications, and the digital twin. Breast cancer is an occurrence of cancer that attacks breast tissue and is the most common cancer among women worldwide, affecting one in eight women. In this modern world, breast cancer image classification simplifies the process of analyzing, providing objective and accurate results. By leveraging machine learning algorithms and computer vision techniques, we developed breast cancer detection. The dataset is histopathology dataset from BreakHis and UNHAS Hospital. We chose the ConvNeXt-Tiny model then modified the classifier head as the proposed method. Before the dataset is processed by the model, we augment the images by applying random horizontal and vertical flips, adjustments to brightness, contrast, saturation, and hue using color jitter. The augmentation process simulates real-world variance and enhances the model's ability to generalize to unseen data. Our proposed model gained better performance (accuracy, F1-Score) results compared two other techniques to VGG16 and SVM. According to our experiments, the F1-Score for the ConvNeXt-Tiny model with classifier head modification is higher at 0.9516, than the gain for VGG16 at 0.9292, and the gain for the SVM at 0.83. © 2024 IEEE.

Sleep is the natural state of relaxation for human being. Sleep quality is an essential yet frequently neglected aspect of sleep in general. Sleep quality is essential because it allows the body to restore itself and prepare for the next day. The standard method for evaluating sleep quality was subjective evaluation. Actigraphy devices, which can measure the sleep cycle, are now widely available. This study developed a method using Fuzzy Logic and an actigraphy device to measure and classify sleep quality. The fuzzy logic method was developed in several stages, which are determining the sleep quality measurement parameters, constructing the fuzzy set for each input variable, and developing the fuzzy rules. To evaluate the proposed fuzzy model, five individuals were invited to participate in the experiment and required to complete the PSQI subjective sleep questionnaire. The evaluation result shows that our proposed Fuzzy model achieves lower error compared to the existing method. © 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.
