Detecting Bipolar Disorder based on Crowdsourced Symptoms using Machine Learning with Shapley Additive Explanations

Bipolar disorder is a mental health condition characterized by extreme mental states ranging from manic highs to depressive lows. Early intervention is crucial to prevent progression and complications of bipolar disorder, which can lead to significant loss. This study proposes a framework to detect bipolar disorder based on crowdsourced symptoms in the form of free texts. We extract the features by transforming these free-text symptoms into binary features using a set of natural language processing techniques. We build support vector machine models with different kernel functions and penalized logistic regression models with different penalty functions, where the best models have a precision of 0.7, recall of 0.78, F1 score of 0.74, and accuracy of 0.88. Moreover, the models are explainable since we incorporate a model-agnostic explanation method called Shapley additive explanations to understand the symptoms that mostly contributed to the prediction of bipolar disorder. The models presented in this study can be implemented in the initial screening process of bipolar disorder for further examination.

One of the biggest challenges in Music Information Retrieval (MIR) is classification. MIR is a subset of Machine Learning (ML), where the methods found in computer science can be used to solve problems in the music domain area. Indonesia is an archipelago country inhabited by around 1,340 ethnic groups spread across 38 provinces. This ethnic group has a variety of cultures, including folk songs, and almost every area in Indonesia has folk songs. In this study, we conducted a regional classification of 500 Indonesian folk songs from 10 regions in Indonesia. We build a model for regional classification tasks using the MIR approach. This model combines feature selection and dimension reduction capabilities. By using hyperparameter tunning and a cross- validation of 5 folds, the result of our proposed model for regional classification of Indonesian folk songs using K-NN with PCC-LDA can obtain an accuracy rate of 84.7%.

This research is ongoing research into the student learning process which aims to develop artificial intelligence-based technology to calculate essay exam scores automatically, based on the textual proximity of students' answers to the answer key. This research uses an approach based on natural language processing (NLP) and text analysis. Feature extraction was carried out using the BERT model and similarity comparison using the Cosine distance method. Model evaluation was carried out using sensitivity and specificity tests. The model evaluation results show a sensitivity of 98.21%, which means this assessment model is able to detect positive cases well.

This research shows that social learning can be used to increase an organization's cybersecurity maturity level. Using a literature study and case study approach. Literature studies are used to identify social learning's key success factors (KSF) and challenges in general. Then, the case study was performed in the context of assessing the maturity level of information security using the NIST Cybersecurity framework at ABC Software House, a small-scale software development company in Indonesia. Assessment activities are performed through FGDs which then also identify the most relevant social learning’ KSF to increase the organization's information security maturity level. Next, referring to the selected KSF, a process of identifying and mapping social learning’ challenges was carried out. The integration of social learning can help organizations gain better focus and understanding in nontechnical contexts to increase their maturity level. This research highlights that integrating social learning with the NIST cybersecurity framework can provide organizations with better focus and perspective for formulating non-technical solutions. This study also enriches the existing literature on social learning in cybersecurity and offers practical insights for organizations looking to improve their cybersecurity resilience.

The spread of Corona Virus Disease 19 (COVID-19) in Indonesia is still relatively high and has not shown a significant decrease. One of the main reasons is due to the lack of supervision on the implementation of health protocols such as wearing masks in daily activities. Recently, state-of-The-Art algorithms were introduced to automate face mask detection. To be more specific, the researchers developed various kinds of architectures for the detection of masks based on computer vision methods. This paper aims to evaluate well-known architectures, namely the ResNet50, VGG11, InceptionV3, EfficientNetB4, and YOLO (You Only Look Once) to recommend the best approach in this specific field. By using the MaskedFace-Net dataset, the experimental results showed that the EfficientNetB4 architecture has better accuracy at 95.77% compared to the YOLOv4 architecture of 93.40%, InceptionV3 of 87.30%, YOLOv3 of 86.35%, ResNet50 of 84.41%, VGG11 of 84.38%, and YOLOv2 of 78.75%, respectively. It should be noted that particularly for YOLO, the model was trained using a collection of MaskedFace-Net images that had been pre-processed and labelled for the task. The model was initially able to train faster with pre-Trained weights from the COCO dataset thanks to transfer learning, resulting in a robust set of features expected for face mask detection and classification. © 2022 Elsevier B.V.. The need for an early screening and computer-Aided Diagnosis (CAD) system based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the field of radiology is essential to realize considering the large impact of lung diseases globally. However, developing AI requires a lot of data, which is a challenge because data in the health sector tends to be limited in quantity and has disparities between diagnostic categories (data imbalance). To overcome this issue, DINO ViT models was trained with the publicly available COVID-19 Radiography Database in our previous study. The model was subsequently implemented into a web application, with this study focusing on the development of a prototype for the application. The study found this application can be useful for medical personnel and doctors in carrying out early screening and CAD. Meanwhile, it also highlighted the general unfamiliarity with AI applications among medical staff, emphasizing the need for increased education and training on AI's role in healthcare.

In today's digitalization era, asset management has evolved following the rapid adoption of information systems and digital technologies. In the maintenance phase of the asset, Digital Twin (DT) emerges as an effective approach to improve failure recognition and structural damage prediction through DT-driven Prognostic and Health Monitoring (PHM). As a result, DT allows asset manager to proactively plan maintenance strategy to improve the availability of the assets. However, to reduce asset downtime in a cost-effective and time efficient manner, DT for maintenance phase needs to be integrated with other software systems that manage the provision of maintenance service and spare part such as computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Nevertheless, many of the developed DT in PHM were not equipped with semantic data model and hence, lacks interoperability with other systems (e.g., other DT or non-DT system) and limits the effective use of the DT. To qualify as an effective DT, it needs a semantical-enabled interface to connect with data and models from various domain to enable DT-driven decision-making. This paper leverages a rule-based ontology reasoning model to enhance DT interoperability with other maintenance software systems. The results depicts that the developed model paves a way for an effective use of DT-driven system in asset maintenance management.

This paper discusses the possibility of a better smart city implementation with the Jakarta Information App. Our App will be a one-stop go platform where people could access new information regarding the city live and instantaneously, the information contained is not just from an average news report, but people from social media or communities can also contribute in giving up to date news 24/7. In order to create this app, some processes are done to dive deeper into Jakarta's core infrastructure, the way of living, and the society behind the city. Jakarta Information App's goals are to connect the people everywhere at any time or place;it is not just an average social media app, its main objective is to be some hub for the city, it is an a2-way connected dots, the city with the people and also the reverse. The proposed system has been modeled with a use case diagram to design the business process and using the class diagram to model the database model diagram. The rapid development of technology makes many changes that occur in the community in carrying out daily activities, one of which is the use of online-based applications to support community activities in Jakarta. This study aims to build applications to support community activities in the field of futsal sport, namely ordering Android-based sports arenas. This ordering application consists of Home, Schedule, sparring, profile, info, and ordering. This application makes it easier for people to find information about the sports arena and make it easier to order sports fields anytime, anywhere, so they can increase profits for the sports arena business. This mobile application was applied with android studio and using MySQL for the database. Hopefully, creating this mobile application will reduce the number the crime rate committed by youth and expand their friendship not only around their house or school but for future development it is possible to run a competition that can be held at the provincial level, or at the national level and possibly even at the South East Nation country (ASEAN) level which involving several ASEAN countries. © 2021 IEEE.

Leukemia is a cancer that attacks and infects white blood cells which can hinder the capability for someone with leukemia to fight infections, which may cause severe complications or even death. While Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia is a certain type of leukemia that is the most prevalent childhood cancer. Detecting this disease is a repetitive activity that can take a lot of time and resources, meanwhile Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia has a fast growth rate. In this study, we will try to classify leukemia cancer using machine learning based on the images of white blood cells provided. This method could provide early diagnosis and reduce the burden on hematologist-oncologist by optimizing the resources that are available. This research will use the ensemble classifier concept by combining several SVM models like linear, polynomial, and RBF. That have been trained, then combined into one singular ensemble model. By combining these models, we hope to improve the classification performance by minimizing the drawbacks of using certain SVM kernels. The results of this classification obtained an accuracy performance of 70.01%.
