Dadahup Swamp Irrigation Area (DIR) in Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan is developed for agricultural activities to provide food security after the pandemic. The water system consists of various channels, gates, and a flood embankment structure, which is also connected to three different rivers: Barito River, Mangkatif River, and Kapuas Mumpung River. To quantify flood risk assessments in the area, we perform a hydrodynamic analysis using the unsteady flow method via HEC-RAS software version 4.1.0. We use geometrical profiles from topography measurements and the outer boundary of the Dadahup DIR as input for the hydrologic model. Our results estimate the maximum surface water level from both cross and longitudinal sections in the channels and find that several points near the flood embankment area are prone to flood events. Our modeling approach provides a preliminary assessment for the local government to formulate a flood mitigation plan and policy in the area. © 2021 IEEE.

Depressive Disorders (DD) is one of the most prevalent mental disorders in the world that may lead to suicide cases. To prevent the latter, ubiquitous early detection systems may be effective. Recent studies have since researched the development of such systems by exploiting several forms of data, including video, audio, Ecological Momentary Assessments (EMA), and passive sensing data using sensors embedded in mobile devices. To summarize the trends, opportunities, and existing challenges in this field, this study reviewed 15 papers to answer four research questions. EMA was the most popular data to be used in this task, but other approaches, such as using video, audio, and typing behaviors, may be considered due to the subjectivity of EMA. These data were typically recorded using smartphones and analyzed using Machine Learning (ML). However, most of the developed systems had yet to be implemented. Overall, it was concluded that further studies may need to explore usages of more objective data in multimodal approaches as well as consider using Mobile Cloud Computing (MCC) to deploy these systems to provide more effective and efficient diagnoses. Future studies must also take into account the existing challenges of the data and infrastructures, such as the weaknesses of several data types, limitations of mobile devices, as well as the challenges of diagnosis approaches.

Proposing a visualized comparative review analysis model on tourism domain using Naïve Bayes classifier

This study, using the Naïve Bayes classifier, proposes a new descriptive model for conducting a comparative review analysis on the tourism domain. The proposed model seeks to improve the understanding of tourists' experiences by visually representing their opinions between various tourist destinations. The model predicts the sentiment of tourist reviews using the Naive Bayes classifier, which is then used to generate visualizations that facilitate comparative analysis. The comparison takes two tourism sites as experimental examples. The results, in terms of accuracy, show 80% and 64% for the first and the second site respectively. The study discusses the model's implementation, effectiveness, and potential applications in the tourism industry. The findings of the study suggest that the proposed model can provide valuable insights into tourist experiences and help tourism stakeholders, such as the managements of tourism sites, the future or soon coming tourists to make informed decisions based on comparative analysis.

Ethereum is one of the most popular blockchain platforms with a high number of adoption in the blockchain world today. Ethereum token (ERC-20) can tokenize any real-world object while it is also possible to exchange the token across the network participants. This utility from the token drives many blockchain enthusiasts to create decentralized applications. ERC-20 token could be used to collect project funds, decision voting, or even can be used to provide investment platforms for people that want to hedge the volatility of the currency with buying an asset that is back to back with the crypto-token. This research shows the main characteristics of asset-backed token and its implementation on a complete end-to-end "digitalization assets system" (assets buy and assets redemption). Opinion has always affected businesses and individuals especially from the Public. People react through social media and spread it incompletely. The situation was then accepted as public opinion. There are three categories of opinion i.e., positive, negative, and neutral. To investigate public opinion on a particular issue of interest, sentiment analysis might be employed. By offering a solution to the text classification challenge, this experiment focuses on the perception of airline tweets among the American public. We offer a method to classify tweets as positive, negative, or neutral using three machine learning classifiers: Random Forest Classifier, Naive Bayes Classifier, and K-Nearest Neighbors Classifier. We examined the performance of three machine learning classifiers in terms of accuracy, average precision, average recall, and average f-1 score. The results demonstrate that the Random Forest Classifier, which produces 82% accuracy, 80% average precision, 82% average recall, and 80% average f1-score, performs the best among the machine learning classifiers.

Information engineering strategies play a significant and transformative role in shaping the landscape of digital agriculture. It drives innovation and efficiency in modern farming practices, with a specific focus on enhancing the value of agricultural commodities, such as sugarcane. The application of mobile technology plays a crucial part in achieving increased sugarcane productivity. Mobile applications, equipped with advanced developer features, offer rapid and user-friendly access to vital information. Traditional methods of estimating sugarcane production relied on manual data recording on paper, followed by data transfer to computer systems, typically managed by sugar factory junior plant officers. This conventional approach presents several inherent weaknesses, including time and effort intensiveness during data recording and entry. Additionally, the potential for errors in calculation and data input is a concern. The storage capacity for paper-based documents is finite, and farmers are often unable to autonomously assess their production potential. The objective of this research is to confront these obstacles by creating a sugarcane production application for Android. This application functions as an information engineering approach focused on forecasting sugarcane yields for plantation owners and their assistants. The development procedure adhered to the systematic waterfall method, following the principles of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model. Data collection was carried out through observations, while interviews with junior plant officers provided valuable insights into sugarcane estimation techniques. Analysis involved the synthesis of observational and interview data to inform the design of the application’s interface and algorithmic system. The resulting application significantly simplifies the process of estimating production potential for farmers, enabling them to access sugarcane productivity data during harvest. Consequently, sugar

Disability is a complex problem affecting many lives in Indonesia, especially people with hearing impairments. Disability is also a complex phenomenon, starting from the type of disability, degree of disability, and age of persons with disabilities to interactions and environmental impacts on disability. Moreover, there are many testimonies from around the world that people with disabilities are more likely to be weak and less likely to get an education. This paper aims to present a mobile application that offers sign language images and videos of any text in a learning environment that is shaped like a dictionary module to increase their vocabulary, learn a new sign language, and pronounce a word. This mobile application is specially designed for deaf people who have limitations in learning and educational training. This mobile application is equipped with several features such as user registration for the deaf and normal people who like to learn sign language, discussing through forums, using a sign language dictionary containing sign language text and pictures, using interactive learning videos, registering for an event activity, including giving input, and also make a donation.

Domain data can be shifted in any direction so it will be shared in different distributions to its original domain. This could be a problem since the model was trained with different distributions. It is found that adversarial domain adaptation using domain adversarial neural networks (DANN) can help to solve this problem on some scale. DANN can minimize the discrepancy between source and target data so the model can work well in both domains. The experiment is done by utilizing MNIST dataset that shifted into some conditions. In a condition when the shifting of distribution is too far, DANN is struggling to maintain the knowledge extracted from source data which leads to underperformance in the source and target domain. In contrast, when the shifting is closer, DANN can easily fit the model so it can perform well in both domains. It proves DANN is one of the good approaches to performing domain adaptation in small discrepancies.

As the cost of genetic testing becomes more affordable each year, direct-to-customer (DTC) genetic testing services witness rapid market growth. This has encouraged the development of an easy-to-use website application to optimize potential customers to obtain informed choice regarding the offered DTC genetic testing as well as purchasing information. We present a wireframing process as a part of the agile software development process to build a web portal prototype for an Indonesia-based genetic testing service called DNAku. The approach in building the prototype used in this case is a part of the Agile Software Development Method. In brief, the wireframing stage resulted in this work consists of three main important outcomes. The first one is the use case diagram as a blueprint of this web-based system. A site map is then proposed as an extended version of the use case diagram which visualizes the whole pages with the links. Finally, based on this site map a series of page mock-ups are designed using Hyper Text Marking Language (HTML) and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). The result of the prototype can be used as the basis for the next development stage, which is the coding stage based on the collected feedback from users. Considering the continuous application development via the wireframing method by taking into account the cycle of feedbacks from involved parties, this approach can strengthen the infrastructure to sustain DTC genetic business model, which has a niche market in Indonesia.

Ant colony optimization with semi random initialization for nurse rostering problem

A nurse rostering problem is an NP-Hard problem that is difficult to solve during the complexity of the problem. Since good scheduling is the schedule that fulfilled the hard constraint and minimizes the violation of soft constraint, a lot of approaches is implemented to improve the quality of the schedule. This research proposed an improvement on ant colony optimization with semi-random initialization for nurse rostering problems. Semi-random initialization is applied to avoid violation of the hard constraint, and then the violation of soft constraint will be minimized using ant colony optimization. Semi-random initialization will improve the construction solution phase by assigning nurses directly to the shift that is related to the hard constraint, so the violation of hard constraint will be avoided from the beginning part. The scheduling process will complete by pheromone value by giving weight to the rest available shift during the ant colony optimization process. This proposed method is tested using a real-world problem taken from St. General Hospital Elisabeth. The objective function is formulated to minimize the violation of the constraints and balance nurse workload. The performance of the proposed method is examined by using different dimension problems, with the same number of ant and iteration. The proposed method is also compared to conventional ant colony optimization and genetic algorithm for performance comparison. The experiment result shows that the proposed method performs better with small to medium dimension problems. The semi-random initialization is a success to avoid violation of the hard constraint and minimize the objective value by about 24%. The proposed method gets the lowest objective value with 0,76 compared to conventional ant colony optimization with 124 and genetic algorithm with 1. © S.
