Immersive learning has gained significant attention with the rising trend of spatial computing, particularly in the after-pandemic era. Numerous research has explored the potential of immersive learning in higher education, primarily on the educational sector. However, prior research has frequently focused too narrowly on the effects of technology and neglected to address the crucial element influencing successful immersive learning in higher education. This study seeks to pinpoint the crucial element contributing to the development of immersive learning experiences. The methodology uses a systematic literature review (SLR) from 2018 up to 2023 to investigate the critical factors of immersive Learning in Higher Education. From the 728 papers initially retrieved, 274 were considered potential candidates, and ultimately, 86 articles were selected based on their relevance to the research question. The results reveal that the critical factors include learning design, technology, immersion, engagement, interactivity, and usability. Academic interests will benefit from this SLR's consequences as institutions create models for designing suitable immersive learning, especially within the context of higher education. © 2023 IEEE.

Human resources management is critical in the organization. Manpower related cost can contribute 40% - 70% to overall operational cost. However, studies related to human factor are not as much as technical study and some organizations did not focus on managing human resources process as a part of the IT implementation process. In this study, the maturity level of the human resources process on Bank XYZ which assessed using COBIT 2019 reference, showing most of the managed human resources process already achieving the purpose, well defined, and already measured quantitatively. To improve IT human resources process especially on planning and tracking of IT and business manpower usage, Bank can enhance their workforce planning process through system implementation. © 2022 IEEE.

Depression is a disease that affects everyone, both young and old. This mental illness not only affects the surrounding environment but everyone. Depression is characterized by deep sadness, behavioral changes and many other actions that are risky for people. In this research we try to solve the problem of detecting depression using Natural Language Processing (NLP) approaches, these two methods are Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) and Robustly Optimized BERT Approach (RoBERTa), where these two methods are used to detect posts made in reddit. The dataset is taken from Kaggle. The results obtained found that the average use of BERT and RoBERTa resulted in a high accuracy value of around 98% and with a well balanced precision, recall and F1-Score ratio. This research shows that there is a possibility of using BERT and RoBERTa in depression detection. © 2024 The Authors.

Electrical energy consumption is always increasing, and this causes the supply of electrical energy to be increased to compensate. One solution is to predict electricity energy consumption using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in Smart Homes. Several studies' solutions for predicting electrical energy consumption usually focused only on performance but rarely evaluated Machine Learning (ML) by correlation for feature selection and utilized interpretability model. This study uses an ML model for predicting utilization (Linear Regression, Decision Tree, Random Forest, and XGBoost). Then, Feature Selection utilizes correlation to choose the best feature. After that, the interpretability model utilizes Local Interpretable Model-agnostic Explanations (LIME). The results show that XGBoost has the best Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) value (0.318) with a percentage of the number of train and test data (90/10). After that, by eliminating features that correlate with 0.01, XGBoost improves with an increase of (0.018) to become (0.3). Then from LIME. This work also gets positive feature from XGBoost such as: "Furnance, Well dan Living Room". © 2023 IEEE.

Our study discusses the application of the perspective grid concept as the basis for the process of transforming the 2D coordinates of the image into 3D coordinates in real space for estimating the location of objects in a single image scene. In several other studies in the field of robotics, AR use methods and media in the form of a chessboard box as a reference for camera calibration and location estimation. However, it does not show accurate results for the size of objects in the room. We saw the potential areas of Alberti's perspective grid, which is often used as a reference in making sketches for the arts and various engineering fields so that they are visually precise with reality. Our study uses 6 reference points in a room arrangement with a floor grid pattern as a reference for the formation of a perspective grid. Based on the triangle comparison approach to determine the x-ordinate, the average error is 0.2193. And through 3 interpolation approaches to get the most accurate results with the Lagrange and Newton methods on the 6th order with the average difference between the actual and predicted points of 1.5 cm from the y-direction distance of the camera from 2 meters to 6.80 meters. © 2022 IEEE.

This systematic review provides a comprehensive overview of the methods used to integrate genomic and clinical data in cancer prediction. The review includes 19 studies across various cancers, including breast, colorectal, melanoma, lung, pancreatic, and thyroid. The studies employed different methods to combine genomic and clinical data, including weighted polygenic risk scores, genetic and non-genetic risk scores, and different machine learning algorithms. The results show significant improvements in model prediction performance accuracy across multiple studies. The review highlights the potential benefits of integrating genetic and phenotypic information to improve disease risk prediction models and inform personalized healthcare strategies. © 2024 IEEE.

Through this pandemic, the world has experienced two major crises, health crisis, and economic crisis. It would be dangerous for us to continue with our "normal"daily lives. We have been forced to stay at home, and some have been dismissed from their jobs;even street vendors are forced to close. The primary purpose of this paper is to represent our solution idea on the troubles regarding COVID-19 to help and support people by providing them all the information and services needed about the COVID-19, such as the high-risk COVID-19 area, statistical growth, safety tips, online swab test booking, etc. through a mobile-based application. A vast number of technologies based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) have proliferated into various application domains. As part of its objectives to develop agents which can behave and think like humans, some branches of AI have focused on developing various algorithms that can learn from input data without explicitly being programmed. In the food industry, notably in restaurants, smartphone technology is typically used to collect data from customers efficiently such as orders or feedback toward the services provided. The use of smartphones by some restaurants is motivated by their convenience and efficiency. Furthermore, various promotions, discounts, and membership benefits offered by cellular service providers have attracted the use of smartphones as devices for improving restaurant services to their customers. This study aimed to conduct a sentiment analysis related to multi-brand restaurants in Indonesia based on customer feedback. The data retrieved from the Google Play Store consists of 756 reviews from Boga, Champs, Hangry, Ismaya, Kulo, and Union groups. In this study, TF-IDF was used as a vectorizer to represent customer feedback as numeric vectors. The polarity sentiment of customer feedback was recognized using classifier models based on machine learning such as Logistic Regression, Naive Bayes (NB), Random Forest, and Support Vector Machine (SVM) as the classifier. The empirical results showed that SVM has the best accuracy of 93.10 % average accuracy followed by Logistic Regression with 92.41 %, Random Forest with 84.14 % average accuracy, and Naive Bayes with 76.55 % average accuracy. © 2022 IEEE.

Given the limited availability of state funds, managing state finances in an effective, efficient, and prudent manner is essential. High demand for additional state funds without sound justification can lead to inefficiencies and poor budget execution. Therefore, decisions regarding the allocation of additional funds should be made selectively and based on historical data reflecting the quality of the work unit in budget management. This research aims to develop a machine learning application to assist decision-makers in recommending additional funding percentages. Utilizing the Budget Implementation Quality Indicator (IKPA) data, we performed feature selection using Principal Component Analysis (PCA), resulting in three selected features. These features were then used to build models with base models (Decision Tree Regression, K-Nearest Neighbor Regression) and ensemble learning methods (Stacking, Bagging, Random Forest, Boosting: AdaBoost, XGBoost, LightGBM). After to-Fold Cross-Validation and hyperparameter tuning, LightGBM demonstrated the lowest error rate with a Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) of 0.0646 and a Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 0.0520, outperforming XGBoost in predicting additional fund allocation proportions. The application supports informed and accountable financial decision-making, promoting efficient and prudent national financial management. By comparing base models and ensemble techniques, this research provides critical insights into machine learning applications in financial management, driving methodological innovation and advancing the field.

Predicting the best-quality of rice phenotypes is the priority among agricultural researchers to fulfill worldwide food security. Trend development of predictive models from statistics to machine learning is the subject of this review. Gathered from the Google Scholar database, 14 appropriate papers (2016-2020) related to the rice phenotypes prediction were selected through title and abstract content filtering. The outputs show that Support Vector Machine, Multi-layer Perceptron, and regression are the most used models, while yield is the priority prediction point besides tiller, panicle, and 1000-grain weight of rice. However, finding the accurate predictor is invariably challenging due to distinct rice varieties in the world and high confounding factors. Thus, developing an advanced deep learning model that accommodates these needs is worth considering further. © 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.
