The Internet of Things (IoT) was evaluated as part of this study. The IoT system in this study is the air quality monitoring system. The system consists of three layers, three end devices with air quality monitoring sensors as the perception layer, the LoRaWAN network as the network layer, and the monitoring website as the presentation layer. Before being made available to the public, IoT hardware and software must undergo testing. For IoT systems, there are no established standards or quality criteria. This study's goal is to evaluate the methodology for an air quality monitoring system. Website speed is measured using Pingdom tools. The website received a performance grade of B. Pingdom offers advice for enhancing website performance. Sucuri is utilized as a security test tool to evaluate the website's security, and consequently, no malware was discovered. The latency and data dependability are monitored to assess the system's performance fully. The outcome demonstrates that all system components consistently and accurately receive data with a latency of less than 1 s.

Air pollution has emerged as a critical issue in several major urban areas, including Jakarta. To address this problem, the study explores the utilization of the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) method. Three distinct approaches are investigated in this research: the Support Vector Classifier (SVC), Deep Artificial Neural Network (Deep ANN), and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM). The available Air Quality data were utilized to train and assess the performance of the proposed ANN models. The research findings reveal that the Deep ANN model surpasses the other methods, achieving an impressive accuracy of approximately 96.57% and a cross-entropy value of 0.1103. In predicting air quality in Jakarta, Deep ANN has demonstrated superior performance when compared to SVC and LSTM. These results highlight the significant potential of deploying Deep Artificial Neural Network (ANN) methodologies for air quality prediction. Such an approach could play a pivotal role in the development of monitoring and early warning systems aimed at effectively addressing air quality issues in the Jakarta region.

A Facial Emotion Recognition (FER) system is an important tool to be implemented in any psychology academic field and beyond. This paper aims to show a system of Facial Emotion Recognition that can be done using the multiple layers model of ResN et50 which is an ANN. The dataset is an array that consists of 7 different emotions represented by the numbers 0-6. The emotion included in the dataset is 'anger', 'disgust', 'fear', 'happiness', 'sadness', 'shock', and 'neutrality'. This research found that the highest accuracy in the application of the model was recorded at 65% and the test was 60% to recognize facial emotion from a graphical input. © 2021 IEEE.

Traffic accidents are a serious problem in developing countries. These accidents can be caused by poor infrastructure and the arrogance of drivers. In addition, semi-autonomous systems are automotive technologies that have been developed in recent years and are starting to be implemented in existing vehicles. This literature review paper will mainly discuss how object detection works in semi-autonomous systems, how semi-autonomous systems operate, and whether semi-autonomous cars can reduce the number of traffic accidents. Its main objective is to build driver confidence in semi-autonomous systems by assisting in driving and supporting the development of them. In the process of writing this paper, the method we use follows the guidelines stated in the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Protocols (PRISMA-P).

Universities can employ information technology as one means of achieving their goals and objectives. Universities can get advantages from information technology, such as effective resource management and information management for decision-making. However, don't forget that the campus must consider what technology is appropriate to assist them achieve their goals, particularly in the current industrial era 4.0 where technology is available with many different choices. The campus requires an enterprise architecture in order to design, manage, and coordinate information technology infrastructure, applications, and processes strategically and thoroughly. The adoption of enterprise information system architecture (EA) is also intended to improve the quality of services provided to internal and external stakeholders. In this case, Enterprise Architecture can help an organization to match its information technology resources with business processes and strategies to achieve their goals. This research was conducted using TOGAF ADM, also known as the Open Group Architecture Framework Architecture Development Method. This method offers best practices for creating enterprise architecture and emphasizes several steps that include creating an architectural vision, information systems, business architecture modeling to help XYZ campus manage all their information technology. © 2023 IEEE.

We conducted research to diagnose breast cancer by classifying malignant and benign tumors. Several machine learning algorithms are used for classification, including Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, and ANN. The aim of this research is to determine the comparison of the three algorithms that have the highest level of accuracy, as well as the parameters and methods for optimizing the training data process in breast cancer classification. This research uses a dataset from Breast Cancer Wisconsin with the Pearson correlation method as feature selection to optimize the dataset for preprocessing data with drop features that have a correlation of more than 0.95. The research results show that the Logistic Regression algorithm is the algorithm that achieves the highest level of accuracy of 97.368421%.

Hate speech is any act of provoking or insulting another person or group based on their ethnicity, religion, race, gender, sexual orientation, physical ability, or other characteristics. This can be done in a variety of ways. Because of this, a study was conducted that focused on ascertaining the most effective technique for identifying hate speech. It was discovered that LSTM, a form of recurrent neural network (RNN) that is particularly good at modeling sequential data, is the most successful technique to apply. Many natural language processing (NLP) activities may be performed with it, including hate speech detection, which makes LSTM have advantages over other techniques, both in terms of long-term memory mechanisms. LSTM, also able to handle long and complex text sequences, capable of recognizing more complex patterns, able to understand and consider the context in the text, to recognize the meaning of a word or phrase in a broader context. Then, based on the dataset obtained from the Kaggle website with a total of 24783 data, then the dataset is divided into training data and validation data, with a ratio of training data to validation data. of 80%: 20%. Then, the testing step results in an accuracy value of 87.10%.

Automatic essay scoring for discussion forum in online learning based on semantic and keyword similarities

Purpose: The authors constructed an automatic essay scoring (AES) model in a discussion forum where the result was compared with scores given by human evaluators. This research proposes essay scoring, which is conducted through two parameters, semantic and keyword similarities, using a SentenceTransformers pre-trained model that can construct the highest vector embedding. Combining these models is used to optimize the model with increasing accuracy. Design/methodology/approach: The development of the model in the study is divided into seven stages: (1) data collection, (2) pre-processing data, (3) selected pre-trained SentenceTransformers model, (4) semantic similarity (sentence pair), (5) keyword similarity, (6) calculate final score and (7) evaluating model. Findings: The multilingual paraphrase-multilingual-MiniLM-L12-v2 and distilbert-base-multilingual-cased-v1 models got the highest scores from comparisons of 11 pre-trained multilingual models of SentenceTransformers with Indonesian data (Dhini and Girsang, 2023). Both multilingual models were adopted in this study. A combination of two parameters is obtained by comparing the response of the keyword extraction responses with the rubric keywords. Based on the experimental results, proposing a combination can increase the evaluation results by 0.2. Originality/value: This study uses discussion forum data from the general biology course in online learning at the open university for the 2020.2 and 2021.2 semesters. Forum discussion ratings are still manual. In this survey, the authors created a model that automatically calculates the value of discussion forums, which are essays based on the lecturer's answers moreover rubrics. © 2023, Bachriah Fatwa Dhini, Abba Suganda Girsang, Unggul Utan Sufandi and Heny Kurniawati.

The increasing threat of ransomware attacks in an interconnected and digital world presents important hurdles for cybersecurity, prompting further examination into how organizational security culture affects their ability to withstand these malicious threats. This study examines the impact and importance of organizational security culture in ransomware threat mitigation. We have surveyed five organizations, giving points from 1 to 5 for each question on cultural factors, leadership support, employee awareness and involvement (compliance), communication, behavior change or BBS practice incorporation, learning/training delivery methodology, and Size and industry impact on their security culture. The results indicate that a robust security culture, with leadership and effective communication, builds stronger resilience to ransomware. Organizations with jointly accountable cybersecurity and training practices are highly efficient. Suggestions range from establishing a secure environment to increasing management buy-in and integrating compliance. This work helps advance our understanding of ransomware resilience and highlights the key role of organizational security culture. The resulting learnings can help to inform organizations' security posture, ultimately helping them better protect their defenses against ransomware threats.

The increasing data volume given by the exponential growth of digital devices, cloud platforms, and the Internet of Things (IOT) had become an attractive target for attackers. This makes the search for innovative defense mechanisms intensified leading to a renewed focus on the utilization of honeypots to improve data security. This Systematic Literature Review (SLR) examines the usage and contributions of honeypots in data security field across diverse sectors and environments. Analyzing 38 selected articles from 2018 to 2023, the study highlights the growing adoption of honeypots as tools for detecting and preventing data breaches, exfiltration, and other security incidents. Our finding found that honeypots, with their deceptive capabilities, have proven could be deployed in sectors like healthcare, cloud computing, and industrial control systems and effective in detection and prevention data breaches, exfiltration, and other data breaches, making them as a crucial tool in the data security protection. The future of honeypots lies in their integration with machine learning and AI, to predict and counteract sophisticated. Moreover, evolving honeypots into tools for deterrence and corrective action opens new avenues for cybersecurity strategies. Their ability to act as deterrents by increasing perceived risks for attackers, coupled with their role in aiding recovery from data breaches through detailed forensic analysis, positions honeypots as a cornerstone in the development of resilient data security frameworks. This study paves the way for a more adaptive, proactive, and comprehensive approach to data security, highlighting the indispensable role of honeypots in the ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity. © 2023 IEEE.
