Low resolution image-face recognition system is one of the challenging aspects of face recognition models' development. From machine learning, deep learning, and into ensemble learning are implemented to develop face recognition models. Including mpdCNN that published by Mishra in a journal article. This mpdCNN already achieved 88.6% accuracy score on SCFace dataset while published. Based on literature review, ensemble learning model can be improved by modifying parallel layers. The purpose of this research is to improve mpdCNN's performance by implementing some modifications include adding parallel layers, alternating the fusion layers, expanding the layers, and adding residual connections. Some modifications were successfully improved mpdCNN's accuracy score. By adding parallel layers and residual connections into mpdCNN's architecture, the modified mpdCNN that proposed in this research achieved 92.33% accuracy score, measured by Rank-k evaluation metric.

Recently, cooking oil has been widely discussed on social media. Many people ask how to analyze this phenomenon, one of which is using a sentiment analysis application on Twitter that performs a scientific analysis of the tweets of this media user. This study aims to test the performance of the sentiment analysis algorithm utilizing the Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) algorithm from Twitter, which is used to classify the types of tweets processed in 2000 tweets. The study shows the results of the confusion matrix, accuracy, and precision. The study obtained a fairly good accuracy and precision performance of 84%, which occurred at a learning rate of 1e-6 and epoch 5. The author also discusses the factors that affect the performance of BERT, such as;pre-processing, data quantity, and data variation. © 2022 IEEE.

In general, the hospitality industry has been acknowledged as a major sector that gives a high contribution to economic development in many countries including Indonesia. For that reason, many initiatives have been implemented to help the growth of the hospitality industry in many countries including Indonesia to rebound from the harsh impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic. One such initiative is improving restaurant services as the main sector of the hospitality industry. This paper presents empirical results of sentiment analysis as a means to assess the quality of restaurant services as the first step to improving service quality. In particular, this study explores the aspect-based sentiment analysis method to identify some aspects of restaurant service which need improvement by learning the polarity of customers toward the restaurant services without having to meet the customers directly. By using the aspect-based sentiment analysis method, the customer sentiments comprising opinions, sentiments, evaluations, attitudes, and emotions from restaurant service can be analyzed using customers’ online reviews as input. The main experiment findings showed that the Long Short-term Memory model can achieve high performance in predicting aspect polarization in restaurant service reviews. Other findings suggest that Sigmoid as an activation function achieved 0.97 average training accuracy and 0.69 average testing accuracy giving a better performance to the model in comparison to ReLU, Tanh, and ELU activation functions.

The ability to differentiate various products in the retail store plays an essential role to provide effectiveness to customers and reduce or even eliminate long queues. However, traditional machine learning algorithms are incapable of recognizing many subordinate categories in various retail product. This paper aims to recognize the retail product recognition algorithm based on the YOLOv7 model in terms of intra-class variations, with the sub-categories of brand and size. We used two schemes of the dataset to compare recognition performance between them. Firstly, the YOLOv7 is applied in the two schemes of the dataset that is annotated with the subordinate category to detect the brand as meta category. Secondly, the proposed method is applied by adding the object size classification into the YOLOv7 model where the square area of the bounding box was calculated to classify the product according to size. Confidence score and square area are used to verify the object and to obtain the product size, which represents sub-category of the product. The experimental results show that our proposed method achieves higher recall compared to baseline object detection.

In this study,we utilize a potentially versatile Bayesian parameter approach to compute the value of the pion charge radius and quantify its uncertainty from several experimental e^(+)e^(-) datasets for the pion vector form *** employ dispersion relations to model the pion vector form factor to extract the *** model selection is used to determine the order of polynomial appearing in the form factor formulation that can be supported by the data,adapting the computation of Bayes evidence and Bayesian effective complexity based on Occam's *** findings indicate that five out of six used datasets favor the nine-parameter model for radius extraction,and accordingly,we average the radii from the *** some inconsistencies with the most updated radius values,our approach may serve as a more intuitive method of addressing parameter estimations in dispersion theory.

The attention mechanism is one of the key enablers which have positioned transformer models as the state-of-the-art models in Natural Language Processing. By having the attention mechanism, the first version (vanilla) transformer model can retrieve the hidden state but at the same time can maintain a low requirement on the context vector dimension by selectively choosing to which encoder hidden states to give priority attention. The objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of modified Long Short-term Memory models architecture on the model performance as a predictive model. The first model is modified by adding an attention mechanism to its architecture; whilst, the second model is modified by adding additional input to its architecture. The performance of both models is compared by assigning each model the same task: to address the aspect-based sentiment analysis task. The experiment results show that adding an attention mechanism is not significantly increase the performance of the Long Short-term Memory model in comparison to adding input to the same model. In particular, the average training accuracy of the former model is 0.885; whilst, the average training accuracy of the latter model is 0.942.

The industry is rapidly transitioning from the 4.0 era to the 5.0 era, prompting renewed interest among scholars in scheduling problems. They allow operations to process and assemble various components simultaneously. This bibliometric analysis provides a comprehensive understanding of the diverse research perspectives on the potential challenges of integrated scheduling within the framework. We identified 357 Scopus articles and analysed co-occurrence keyword (CNK) by VOSViewer tools and Global Citation Score (GCS) by Scopus tools. The research data obtained from 1993 to 2023 mainly in the subject areas of Engineering, computer science, Maths, and others. CNK identified six cluster keywords, and nine most cited articles based on normalised GCS. These results contribute to our understanding of the development of scheduling algorithms, shifting from an emphasis on manufacturing transfers to contemporary demand-centric research directions. Furthermore, this research provides a valuable perspective for policymakers, plant personnel, and manufacturing managers to make informed decisions. © 2025 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

The development of technology and artificial intelligence, especially in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 almost covers all fields, one of which is e-learning. In its development, it is very important to determine the factors to produce the quality of e-learning. Machine learning can help to find various solutions in the real world, especially to solve problems for which a specific algorithm has not been found. The implementation of e-learning is often ineffective and not on target which has an impact on learning achievement that is not achieved, this is due to several things namely the learning model is applied in general, the learning materials and weights are applied equally to all users. Seeing these problems, it is necessary to have a model to classify students according to their abilities, talents, and interests before starting learning to achieve their goals to be achieved. This paper aims to create a machine learning approach model to determine the level of ability and needs of students before starting learning which can reduce disparities between students and follow up learning materials. With the machine learning based on learning model, e-learning can provide teaching materials according to the abilities, and interests of students, sustainably and improve the quality of students. © 2022 IEEE.

The application of information technology in addition to making internal business processes more effective and efficient, is also to improve customer service. This role is important for companies to maintain the sustainability of information systems as a strategic tool for competitive advantage so system availability is absolutely essential. Research related to the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) needs to be carried out to see the readiness of a corporation to build a backup system in different places and locations. By using the method of factor analysis and regression analysis to form an evaluation model, it will obtain an overview of what factors must be considered and what the current conditions are. The results of the study show that there are Core Technical DRP, Organizational Preparation, and Costing factors which are the main variables in supporting DRP readiness. The conclusion from this study, through these three new factors a mathematical model can be built as a reference for improving DRP implementation in corporations. © 2023 The Authors. Enterprise Architecture Framework (EAF) is a commonly used framework and the best solution for addressing and defining the transformation that needs to be built to support business operations. To be able to make the transition quickly, many higher education institutions (HEIs) are starting to adopt EAF. This research aims to help the evolution and transpiration of enterprise architecture research in higher education. This research uses a systematic literature review (SLR) research method which includes several steps, namely identifying research questions, identifying research sources, using keywords to complete the data discovery process, disseminating data, and analyzing the results to answer research questions. The data used comes from digital libraries, especially Emerald Insight, IEEE Xplore Digital Library, and science Direct. Data taken from 2019 to 2023 in RIS format will then be analyzed and visualized using VosViewer. The results of this research are to find the growth of research publications over five years, find research trends on enterprise architecture frameworks, identify relationships between scientific concepts, and determine the knowledge network of enterprise architecture frameworks based on keywords.
