Exams are an important component of any educational program, including online education. In any test, there is a possibility of cheating, so its detection and prevention is important. This study aims to conduct an in-depth study of the online exam monitoring model approach based on facial recognition used to detect cheating. Based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria designed, 13 selected studies were obtained. From these studies, we conducted further analysis regarding the Face Detection Method, Face Recognition Method, Initial Feature, Behavior Analysis and Evaluation Metrics used in each study so as to provide answers to research questions. the most frequently used Face detection method was Viola-Jones with a presentation of 20%, then CNN and MTCNN with a total presentation of 21%. The most widely used face recognition method in selected studies is CNN and metrics Accuracy is one of the most frequently used evaluations with a percentage of 33%. While the features that are usually used to detect cheating during online exams include facial motion and head pose which occupies the first position. The second is eye movement, then multiple faces gaze estimation and facial expression is in third place. Other features that also play a role in analyzing cheating behavior are mouth detection, facial vector, landmark location, gesture and posture.

As the cost of genetic testing becomes more affordable each year, direct-to-customer (DTC) genetic testing services witness rapid market growth. This has encouraged the development of an easy-to-use website application to optimize potential customers to obtain informed choice regarding the offered DTC genetic testing as well as purchasing information. We present a wireframing process as a part of the agile software development process to build a web portal prototype for an Indonesia-based genetic testing service called DNAku. The approach in building the prototype used in this case is a part of the Agile Software Development Method. In brief, the wireframing stage resulted in this work consists of three main important outcomes. The first one is the use case diagram as a blueprint of this web-based system. A site map is then proposed as an extended version of the use case diagram which visualizes the whole pages with the links. Finally, based on this site map a series of page mock-ups are designed using Hyper Text Marking Language (HTML) and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). The result of the prototype can be used as the basis for the next development stage, which is the coding stage based on the collected feedback from users. Considering the continuous application development via the wireframing method by taking into account the cycle of feedbacks from involved parties, this approach can strengthen the infrastructure to sustain DTC genetic business model, which has a niche market in Indonesia. © 2022 IEEE.

The Neural Networks (NN) model which is incorporated in the control system design has been studied, and the results show better performance than the mathematical model approach. However, some studies consider that only offline NN model learning and does not use the online NN model learning directly on the control system. As a result, the controller's performance decreases due to changes in the system environment from time to time. The Reinforcement Learning (RL) method has been investigated intensively, especially Model-based RL (Mb-RL) to predict system dynamics. It has been investigated and performs well in making the system more robust to environmental changes by enabling online learning. This paper proposes online learning of local dynamics using the Mb-RL method by utilizing Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) model. We consider Model Predictive Control (MPC) scheme as an agent of the Mb-RL method to control the regulatory trajectory objectives with a random shooting policy to search for the minimum objective function. A nonlinear Mass Spring Damper (NMSD) system with parameter-varying linear inertia is used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. The simulation results show that the system can effectively control high-oscillating nonlinear systems with good performance.

Information engineering strategies play a significant and transformative role in shaping the landscape of digital agriculture. It drives innovation and efficiency in modern farming practices, with a specific focus on enhancing the value of agricultural commodities, such as sugarcane. The application of mobile technology plays a crucial part in achieving increased sugarcane productivity. Mobile applications, equipped with advanced developer features, offer rapid and user-friendly access to vital information. Traditional methods of estimating sugarcane production relied on manual data recording on paper, followed by data transfer to computer systems, typically managed by sugar factory junior plant officers. This conventional approach presents several inherent weaknesses, including time and effort intensiveness during data recording and entry. Additionally, the potential for errors in calculation and data input is a concern. The storage capacity for paper-based documents is finite, and farmers are often unable to autonomously assess their production potential. The objective of this research is to confront these obstacles by creating a sugarcane production application for Android. This application functions as an information engineering approach focused on forecasting sugarcane yields for plantation owners and their assistants. The development procedure adhered to the systematic waterfall method, following the principles of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model. Data collection was carried out through observations, while interviews with junior plant officers provided valuable insights into sugarcane estimation techniques. Analysis involved the synthesis of observational and interview data to inform the design of the application's interface and algorithmic system. Attendance systems have become more modern, and one of the biometric systems without physical contact is face recognition. However, many face-based attendance systems still carry out attendance individually and cannot detect multiple faces simultaneously. In addition, capturing facial data in real-time is still a challenge because the relatively large distance between the camera and the individual reduces the ability to recognize faces. The general solution is to use super-resolution to generate better-quality faces while maintaining the main facial recognition features. One technique still being researched is super-resolution generative adversarial networks (SRGAN). SRGAN can enlarge the resolution of captured images and maintain image quality sufficient for face recognition. The attendance system can be easily integrated into edge devices such as the Jetson Nano. This paper proposes automatic and effective attendance systems with the super-resolution technique to detect and recognize faces in low-resolution input. The experimental results show that using face data capture with a resolution of 40 × 40 pixels and a four-fold magnification results in a resolution of 160 × 160 pixels. Combining Face SRGAN with FaceNet architecture as the basis of face recognition can achieve an accuracy rate of 78.19% and an F1-Score of 81.13% with an average processing time of 1.61 seconds per frame on a PC and 14.55 seconds per frame on a Jetson Nano at an average of face recognition per frame of as many as up to 8 faces simultaneously.

Classification of Indonesian crops is a critical task in developing farming and getting more understanding of agriculture. However, there is no clear task in classifying types of crops in Indonesia. Transfer learning has been used successfully in a variety of image classification applications. Thus, in this paper, we collected images of Indonesian crops from the internet randomly and proposed a classification by using transfer learning of deep learning with four pre-trained models: EffficientNet- B0, ResNet18, VGG19, and AlexNet. In the experiment, augmentation techniques such as random horizontal flip, random vertical flip, and random affine were utilized to prevent the network from overfitting. The result found that EfficientNet-B0 outperformed other models with an accuracy of 82.55. Then, the model struggled to distinguish between crops in the same family. According to the results, although transfer learning can work well to classify images of Indonesian agricultural crops, some improvements are still required to address existing issues.

Technological developments have resulted in a trend of cryptocurrencies that use a technology called blockchain to create and record all transactions made into a digital ledger. Along with the emergence of the trend of cryptocurrencies, this development has also resulted in crimes that hit the digital world, such as data leakage and cyber espionage. This threat can be prevented by applying blockchain technology to the database that has been used. Therefore, we need a system that can facilitate the use of blockchain technology and can process data from an existing relational database into a blockchain-based database. The system developed in this study was built with the FastAPI framework that uses the Python programming language and the React framework that uses the Javascript programming language. This system was tested using Katalon and Wireshark software to perform throughput testing and man-in-the-middle attacks. Evaluation of this system is assessed based on the average throughput time and also the results of Wireshark packet capture. The system designed in this research is expected to help overcome interoperability problems when using blockchain and improve relational database integrity. The results of the test show that the system is safe from man-in-the-middle attacks while sending data through API and has a faster throughput time than BigchainDB system by 4.151 seconds.

The increasing complexity of cyber attacks, including 0-day vulnerabilities and APTs, has rendered traditional defenses like firewalls and IDS/IPS insufficient. Honeypots have been proposed as a solution to detect and analyze new attack types by simulating vulnerable systems and capturing malicious activities. However, the deployment of honeypots introduces unique risks, necessitating a comprehensive threat modeling approach to mitigate potential drawbacks. This paper explores the intersection of threat modeling and honeypot deployment, identifying threats, and proposing effective mitigation strategies. We applied a threat model adapted from a simplified PASTA framework based on risk-centric and proposed mitigation plans such as network segmentation, outbound traffic filtering, resource monitoring, and regular updates. Additionally, we discussed alternative honeypot deployments outside the organization's internal network to avoid arising risks. We found that deploying high-interaction honeypots carries high risks due to a broader attack flow. The novelty of this study lies in adapting the attack-flow approach for honeypot threat modeling, providing a structured method to analyze and mitigate honeypot-specific threats. Future research directions include conducting long-term studies and detailed case studies to further optimize the interaction between honeypot deployments and threat modeling for enhanced security outcomes.

Code-mixed language is ubiquitous. Having been commonly practiced among bilingual communities, code-mixed language has emerged as a common language among social media users. Despite its popularity, the analysis of a code-mixed text is challenging as the text does not typically comply with the monolingual grammar. Therefore, the popularity of social media in the past ten years has raised wide attention to develop methods for analyzing code-mixed text such as extracting popularity sentiment from the text. Machine learning-based classifier such as Support Vector Machine, Naïve Bayes, Decision Tree, Logistic Regression have been widely used to analyze the sentiment. This paper intends to further explore machine learning classifiers, their performances, variables, and most common classifiers for the code-mixed sentiment analysis. Prisma Methodology was used in this paper, extracting 12 from 230 papers that met predefined required criteria, including publication year within the last 5 years. Our findings suggested that the most common classifiers found in the papers were Support Vector Machine, Naïve Bayes, and Logistic Regression. By using the accuracy and F1 as the performance measures, the Support Vector Machine exhibited a better performance compared to Naïve Bayes and Logistic Regression. Thus, this study supported the use of Support Vector Machine, Naïve Bayes and Logistic Regression as the main classifiers for the code-mixed sentiment analysis. © 2020 IEEE.

Typhoid fever is an endemic disease that burdens Indonesia and has a potentially fatal infection multisystem. Salmonella typhi bacterium is responsible for typhoid fever disease. Poor sanitation, crowding, and slums are the main factors of increasing typhoid fever incidences. Environmental factors directly connected to meteorological factors are the main factor in breeding the Salmonella typhi bacterium. This study aims to identify the correlation between meteorological parameters and typhoid fever disease occurrence. The study was carried out in Jakarta, Indonesia, and the Bureau of Meteorological, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) provided the meteorological parameter data. In addition, the Jakarta health surveillance office provided information on typhoid fever hospitalizations from 2019 to 2021. Pearson's concept was utilized d to investigate the correlation between typhoid fever incidences and the meteorological parameters. Humidity, precipitation, and wind speed are the meteorological parameters that significantly affect in contribute to the occurrence of typhoid fever disease. These findings might be used as a reference for Indonesia's government in making public policy to prevent typhoid fever in Indonesia. © 2022 Elsevier B.V.. All rights reserved.
