Opinion has always affected businesses and individuals especially from the Public. People react through social media and spread it incompletely. The situation was then accepted as public opinion. There are three categories of opinion i.e., positive, negative, and neutral. To investigate public opinion on a particular issue of interest, sentiment analysis might be employed. By offering a solution to the text classification challenge, this experiment focuses on the perception of airline tweets among the American public. We offer a method to classify tweets as positive, negative, or neutral using three machine learning classifiers: Random Forest Classifier, Naive Bayes Classifier, and K-Nearest Neighbors Classifier. We examined the performance of three machine learning classifiers in terms of accuracy, average precision, average recall, and average f-1 score. The results demonstrate that the Random Forest Classifier, which produces 82% accuracy, 80% average precision, 82% average recall, and 80% average f1-score, performs the best among the machine learning classifiers.

Information engineering strategies play a significant and transformative role in shaping the landscape of digital agriculture. It drives innovation and efficiency in modern farming practices, with a specific focus on enhancing the value of agricultural commodities, such as sugarcane. The application of mobile technology plays a crucial part in achieving increased sugarcane productivity. Mobile applications, equipped with advanced developer features, offer rapid and user-friendly access to vital information. Traditional methods of estimating sugarcane production relied on manual data recording on paper, followed by data transfer to computer systems, typically managed by sugar factory junior plant officers. This conventional approach presents several inherent weaknesses, including time and effort intensiveness during data recording and entry. Additionally, the potential for errors in calculation and data input is a concern. The storage capacity for paper-based documents is finite, and farmers are often unable to autonomously assess their production potential. The objective of this research is to confront these obstacles by creating a sugarcane production application for Android. This application functions as an information engineering approach focused on forecasting sugarcane yields for plantation owners and their assistants. The development procedure adhered to the systematic waterfall method, following the principles of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model. Data collection was carried out through observations, while interviews with junior plant officers provided valuable insights into sugarcane estimation techniques. Analysis involved the synthesis of observational and interview data to inform the design of the application’s interface and algorithmic system. The resulting application significantly simplifies the process of estimating production potential for farmers, enabling them to access sugarcane productivity data during harvest. Consequently, sugar

Food sustainability is still one of the main priorities for many countries as it contributes to the economy and stability of the nation. For government in many countries whose peoples consumes rice as its staple food, food self-sufficiency initiatives highly depend on accurate prediction of paddy field map. Mapping paddy field task is a challenging problem which cannot be handled manually especially when the paddy fields are spread out in very wide geographical areas such as those in Indonesia. Fortunately, wide availability of satellite imagery and the advent of deep learning technology in the past ten years have made it possible to improve efficiency of most parts of those manual works involving image semantic segmentation tasks. However, satellite image-based semantic segmentation is a challenging task. High object complexity, cloud partial occlusion, larger image size than a computer memory can stored can hinder accuracy of the image segmentation results. This paper presents a method for paddy field map generating using semantic image segmentation approach in which Pyramid Scene Parsing Net model is used for segmenting satellite imagery. The generated paddy map can be used as a basis for decision-making, especially in the agricultural sector. Analysis of local land use/land cover dynamics. The results of his experiments using SPOT 6 satellite imagery from the Pahung region of Central Kalimantan achieved average training accuracy, best training accuracy and test accuracy of 0.85, 0.86 and 0.89 respectively. These results indicated that the semantic segmentation model is suitable for addressing the same task in different crops.

Domain data can be shifted in any direction so it will be shared in different distributions to its original domain. This could be a problem since the model was trained with different distributions. It is found that adversarial domain adaptation using domain adversarial neural networks (DANN) can help to solve this problem on some scale. DANN can minimize the discrepancy between source and target data so the model can work well in both domains. The experiment is done by utilizing MNIST dataset that shifted into some conditions. In a condition when the shifting of distribution is too far, DANN is struggling to maintain the knowledge extracted from source data which leads to underperformance in the source and target domain. In contrast, when the shifting is closer, DANN can easily fit the model so it can perform well in both domains. It proves DANN is one of the good approaches to performing domain adaptation in small discrepancies.

As the cost of genetic testing becomes more affordable each year, direct-to-customer (DTC) genetic testing services witness rapid market growth. This has encouraged the development of an easy-to-use website application to optimize potential customers to obtain informed choice regarding the offered DTC genetic testing as well as purchasing information. We present a wireframing process as a part of the agile software development process to build a web portal prototype for an Indonesia-based genetic testing service called DNAku. The approach in building the prototype used in this case is a part of the Agile Software Development Method. In brief, the wireframing stage resulted in this work consists of three main important outcomes. The first one is the use case diagram as a blueprint of this web-based system. A site map is then proposed as an extended version of the use case diagram which visualizes the whole pages with the links. Finally, based on this site map a series of page mock-ups are designed using Hyper Text Marking Language (HTML) and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). The result of the prototype can be used as the basis for the next development stage, which is the coding stage based on the collected feedback from users. Considering the continuous application development via the wireframing method by taking into account the cycle of feedbacks from involved parties, this approach can strengthen the infrastructure to sustain DTC genetic business model, which has a niche market in Indonesia.

Ant colony optimization with semi random initialization for nurse rostering problem

A nurse rostering problem is an NP-Hard problem that is difficult to solve during the complexity of the problem. Since good scheduling is the schedule that fulfilled the hard constraint and minimizes the violation of soft constraint, a lot of approaches is implemented to improve the quality of the schedule. This research proposed an improvement on ant colony optimization with semi-random initialization for nurse rostering problems. Semi-random initialization is applied to avoid violation of the hard constraint, and then the violation of soft constraint will be minimized using ant colony optimization. Semi-random initialization will improve the construction solution phase by assigning nurses directly to the shift that is related to the hard constraint, so the violation of hard constraint will be avoided from the beginning part. The scheduling process will complete by pheromone value by giving weight to the rest available shift during the ant colony optimization process. This proposed method is tested using a real-world problem taken from St. General Hospital Elisabeth. The objective function is formulated to minimize the violation of the constraints and balance nurse workload. The performance of the proposed method is examined by using different dimension problems, with the same number of ant and iteration. The proposed method is also compared to conventional ant colony optimization and genetic algorithm for performance comparison. The experiment result shows that the proposed method performs better with small to medium dimension problems. The semi-random initialization is a success to avoid violation of the hard constraint and minimize the objective value by about 24%. The proposed method gets the lowest objective value with 0,76 compared to conventional ant colony optimization with 124 and genetic algorithm with 1. © S. User preference learning has been around for many years. This is a common problem arise in e-commerce system, where the companies need to understand their customers in order to sell the correct products to their target customers. The user preference is also needed in the movie domain area, as the film companies who produce the movie also need to understand how the customers value their movie products, whether the market like it or not. This can help them to predict the best components for the future movie. In order to produce the recommendation to the customer, we can show a list of item in a correct order, sorted from the most relevant/the most liked one to the most irrelevant item. In this paper, we utilize the Learning to Rank (LTR) approach from information retrieval domain area to learn the user preference in recommender system domain. We applied LTR with pairwise approach from the two most popular algorithms in this area, i.e. RankNet and LambdaRank, on 25, 345 user ratings from 5, 000 movie dataset and evaluate both algorithms. We used a Neural Network architecture as the learning mechanism. We also measuring the speed performance of the two algorithms. © 2021 IEEE.

The proliferation of digital camera technology has provided many digital images for object detection and counting in public places. This paper presents an experiment on the realtime vehicle counting method to be implemented in a single board computer. The proposed design's objective is to detect and count vehicles entering and exiting at entrances using haar cascade classifier algorithms and other automatic open and close door systems controlled by a single board computer (SBC). The proposed system was tested using raspberry pi 4 model B with a 4GB RAM platform. The empiric results using 3-minute video as input with a total of 113 passing vehicles the proposed method achieve of 91.2 % of average accuracy.

The continuity of the quality of the official portal of DKI Jakarta province in terms of information, relevance and population must be maintained, evaluated and can be developed so that the public can get significant benefits. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of public acceptance of the portal site using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach. The methodology of this research is to make a survey of the public as users of the portal site, with the objectives based on perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, behavioral intention to use, attitude toward using technology and actual system use of the portal site. This research is a quantitative research based on data through a questionnaire with a likert scale conducted for users of the Jakarta portal. This study uses a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis method based on the Partial Least Square (PLS) variant..There are 6 hypotheses proposed in this study, from the test results found 4 acceptable hypotheses. The hypothesis shows that the actual system usage factor is influenced by the Behavioral Intention to use factor of 48.9%. While the Behavioral Intention to use factor is influenced by the Perceived Usefulness factor of 43.9%.

The focus of this research is looking for general factors in digital economy and sharing economy. The methodology is using a systematic literature review approach that is categorized appropriate literature reviews where the literature review will focus on research on digital economy and also the concept of sharing economy or research that adopts both methods. From total 119 papers found in accordance with the search keyword, there were 50 papers which were candidates, while 12 papers were selected in this study. Furthermore, there are 9 (nine) factors that are common factors in the digital economy and sharing economy.
