The rapid population growth and industrial development in developing countries harm the agricultural sector because many agricultural lands are converted into residential or industrial areas. Applying modern agriculture technologies such as hydroponic could help to overcome the problem. However, hydroponics requires special attention in adjusting the pH and nutrient levels to maximize plant growth, so an automated system is needed to manage the process. In this research, a smart hydroponic system is proposed by applying Adaptive Networkbased Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) and Internet-of-Things. The IoT system consists of sensor, actuator, and data processing layer is designed to monitor and control the condition of pH and nutrition of the observed plants. Then, the ANFIS algorithm is designed to control the level of pH and nutrition. The experiment results show that the system can automatically adjust the pH and nutrient levels to the expected range for growing plants, and the fuzzy controller made using ANFIS are more accurate and stable than the fuzzy controller made using Sugeno. This study shows that ANFIS has excellent performance when controlling multiple actuators, as long as the data set has great granularity and well defined.

Extended urbanization phenomenon in smaller-sized cities in Java should be considered by the government. However, the local governments can only use the plans from the central government. The negative effects of this, among others, are improper land use allocation, lack of facilities, and crimes that are difficult to handle. This study proposes a geographic information system (GIS)-based method to analyze the proper central business district in Karawang, a small district in Java, Indonesia. Multi-criteria analysis of factors affecting the candidate locations was used through a weighted sum method in a model. The spatial data were retrieved and analyzed using a GIS tool to classify region into urban, peri-urban, and rural. Some central business locations have been found after reclassification which is located near the toll gates. Two locations in the north of Karawang were classified have the potential to become the new central business locations.

A cloud quantum computer is a quantum computer that can be accessed in a cloud environment through a network. Today, there are numbers of cloud quantum computing services that can be accessed by users. They are used to solve complex problems that require powerful computing. Different cloud quantum computing services deliver different architecture and performances. In our study, we conducted a research on some services to test and evaluate the performances of different cloud quantum computing services and make a comparison out of it. The test will be conducted using two different methods such as visual programming and qiskit. From the result, we can see that the amount of qubit per backend and shots per run pretty much affect the execution time of a cloud quantum computing. This test will give the users some insight and enables them to decide which cloud quantum computing services deliver better performance or faster execution time based on the specification each cloud quantum computer offers.

This article presents a dataset of oil palm Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFBs) images from commercial plantations in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia, focusing on five maturity stages: Unripe, Underripe, Ripe, Flower, and Abnormal. The data collection involved smartphone video recordings of unharvested trees from multiple angles under varying conditions. Video frames were extracted and expertly annotated using computer Vision Annotation Tool (CVAT), with annotations exported in Common Objects in Context (COCO) format suitable for object detection tasks. It has 10,207 images in its training set, 2,896 in the validation set, and 1,400 in the test set, which are supplemented using data augmentation to handle class imbalance and increase variation. These images have real-world complications arising from partial visibility, low contrast, occlusion, and blurriness. It forms the basis that will support the development of deep learning models for detection and classification of FFB, particularly for monitoring of harvest times, yield prediction, and optimization of resources in plantation operations.

Bacteria are microscopic organisms that can be found in many environments. They are abundant and have many roles in our life. Studying bacteria is essential so that we can identify the bacteria that are needed for many industrial applications. However, the main problem is that majority of the bacteria are unculturable, hampering the exploration of bacteria from different environments. Metagenomics approach which employs Next Generation Sequencing technology could help study bacteria by utilizing 16S rRNA marker gene. This study aims to demonstrate data mining and bioinformatics approaches to analyze 16S rRNA sequencing data. The raw sequencing data of 16S rRNA was collected from biological database. Then, the data were trimmed, denoised, and clustered to generate Amplicon Sequence Variants (ASVs). Diversity (alpha and beta) and taxonomic analyses were then conducted to elucidate the bacterial diversity and taxonomic profile of ASVs. The results of this work showed that Shannon and PD indices in China's hot spring were higher than Singapore and the USA. Furthermore, a significant difference was observed in the PD index. The unweighted UniFrac distance also showed there was a significant difference of the bacterial communities between the three locations. In addition, the taxonomic investigation unveiled prevalent bacterial groups in the ecosystem, namely Proteobacteria, Chloroflexi, Cyanobacteria, and Crenarchaeota. The research outcomes have the potential to serve as a foundational resource for subsequent bacterial metagenomic research, particularly the hot spring environment.
