The concept of object-oriented (OO) serves is a fundamental approach in the development of models. The stages associated with this method contribute significantly to ensuring that the resulting model is both lucid and transparent. The primary objective of the study is to create a decision model for evaluating student performance. Floating fuzzy logic (FFL) is employed as a technique to handle fluctuating data within the model. Moreover, OO conception plays a central role in analyzing, designing, and constructing the model through the utilization of four distinct types of Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams: object, activity, state-machine, and sequence diagrams. The model itself is crafted using the Python programming language and executed in the Google Colab platform. Additionally, this model has the capability to simulate changes in students' performance on a semester-by -semester basis, exhibiting a variance of 15 % when compared to the conventional fuzzy logic model. © 2023 IEEE.

The results of observations showed that the book about Tais produced by Secretariat de Estado da Arte e Cultura (SEAC) has not been able to meet the needs of users because the information is less interesting and interactive. This paper's aim is to introduce the more interesting and interactive way to introduce Tais. Utilization of Augmented Reality (AR) technology in an application built with the Unity3D program is done to provide different way in presenting interesting and interactive information to its users. Based on the results in this paper, the developed application can handle the presentation in more interesting and interactive way. The ideal distance in the tracking process for target objects with size 7 x 6 cm is ranged from 6 cm to 30 cm, with the image ratio that can be detected at the farthest distance is 4% of the camera image. For the detection angle, the target object can be detected properly from approximately ±640. From the data acquired, it can be said that AR can be used to introduce Tais in more interesting and interactive way. © 2018 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.

Directorate General of Taxes for Republic of Indonesia has an internal unit named data processing centre (DPC) that has main duty to process paper tax return delivered from tax office. DPC practically implemented new tax return processing system to replace the old system, however the performance of the new system was not on a par with the old one, at the beginning. Then, DPC made several improvements to increase new system's performance. This study aims to measure the improvements made by DPC by using Six Sigma approach. The approach is functioned to assess data processing performance through DMAIC concept: i.e. define, measure, analyse, improve, and control. With the DMAIC concept, improvement exposes better result, the average value of six sigma significantly escalated by 0.97 to 2.56. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

To develop a data entry application, one may use a general-purpose programming language, a domain-specific programming language for data entry, or end-user tools that offer no programming at all. The first two offer more flexibilities but greatly differ in complexities. General-purpose language is probably overkill for a simple data entry application. In order to be useful, domain-specific language should be as close as possible to the problem domain and still open to research. This paper presents Perkedel, a domain-specific programming language designed for data entry. It is inspired by spreadsheet concept and offers user interface definitions that resemble a paper-based data entry form. Spreadsheet is one of the most popular programming systems that has been around us for almost four decades and we argue that easy user interface definition is important. This results in writing source code for a data entry application that looks nothing like ordinary source code. This speeds up the development time, too. One of our respondents spent only five minutes to a develop a simple data entry application, compared to the fastest development time of 32 minutes using a generalpurpose language, for similar application. That way, we hope that Perkedel may add a little perk to data entry developer's life using this data entry language. © 2017 IEEE.

Application architecture and information technology systems in the company should be able to support the company's policy that leads to their alignment with the business objectives. The alignment of the implementation of information technology systems to the needs and goals of the organization will be able to be answered by taking into account the integration in the development, so that the gap of these two things can be minimized. As a company engaged in IT consulting, project management system is one form of application systems that support core business objective of the company: to produce high-quality software. Nevertheless, the project management system should be able to work together with other supporting information systems, so that the flow of information within the company can run effectively. To achieve these objectives, required the analysis and design of an integrated system, which can be achieved through a service-oriented architecture based system. which includes the stages of requirements and analysis, design and development, and the last is the IT operations. Real-world practical systems inherently exhibit non-linearities in their dynamics. Also, it is known that a time-varying delay exists in the system state or input-output. Combined, it affects the stability of the closed-loop system. It also increases the complexity of the controller design. In-depth controller design research on the class of Nonlinear Systems with Time-Varying Delay (NSTVD) has been the focus of the control community for many years. However, there is a lack of Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and classifications of the papers on this topic. This paper aims to review controller design utilizing a neural network model for the class of NSTVD systems. The study employs Kitchenham's SLR method to gather, analyze and synthesize published papers from reliable databases between 2017 and 2021. The bibliometric analysis for the selected 38 papers reveals the prolific authors, countries, affiliations, publishers, co-authorship network, co-occurrences of keywords, and ten most-cited papers. Finally, this paper developed a conceptual map outlining six multi-layered findings: the addressed problem, control design method, nonlinear system properties, time-varying delay properties, system constraint properties, and actuator limit properties. A brief qualitative analysis of the ten most-cited papers is performed based on the map. The findings highlighted that the proposed methods have shown encouraging results in the simulation domain and can be used as a source of inspiration for future studies and implementation of the neural controller design of the NSTVD system. © 2023 IEEE.

The development of technology and the internet is one of the critical factors that must be considered by companies especially those engaged in e-commerce. The web-based application is one of the tools used by e-commerce in making it easier for users to conduct transactions and data processing. The application that developed must be calculated carefully so the effectiveness and efficiency can be appropriately maintained. In this research, the calculation of the size of the software, effort, time, staff, and the total cost needed to work on an application was calculated using the Function Point Analysis (FPA) and Constructive Cost Model II (CoCoMo II) methods. The application that has been analyzed and estimated is Merchant Application Portal (MAP) which is an application designed by one of the companies in Indonesia. The estimation results obtained, scilicet the size of software amounted to 10,02972 KLOC, effort amounted to 48.521 Person Month, time development of 13 months, staff needed as many as four staff, and the estimated cost amounted to IDR 13,828,852.79 or $ 971.54. In addition, this calculation can be used by other companies to find out the resources needed in making a software to be more effective and efficient. © 2021 ACM.

Every organization must ensure that information assets are protected and information security system has been implemented well. PT. IndoDev Niaga Internet is a provider of business solutions applications and implementation services that include application Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). In order to ensure the security of the information, then in 2015 PT. IndoDev Niaga Internet implement ISO 27001: 2013. Through the implementation of ISO 27001: 2013, it is expected that information can be properly maintained, which in turn will affect the business continuity. Companies need to know the extent to which the process has been applied and what actions can be done to improve the performance of the application of ISO 27001: 2013. Factor analysis was conducted first to determine the factors that affect to the information security. After the factors that affect to the information security known, then observation and interview conducted to gather data about PT. IndoDev Niaga Internet ISO 27001:2013 implementation according to the factors that affect. And then recommendation and corrective action developed using gap analysis method. The most influential factor to the security of customer information PT. IndoDev Niaga Internet is a factor access control and security operations. For the audit results IS027001: 2013 from the aspect of access control, they found 11 check items that fit into the category of NC (Non-Conformance) of 33 check items in which 9 of them in the category of major and two remaining categories minor, while for operations security aspects of the 12 check items, found 5 that goes into the category of NC (Non-Conformance) and everything was included into the category of minor. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Information security risk is of utmost importance and a crucial concern, particularly within a clinical laboratory responsible for managing sensitive public health information. Various endeavors have been undertaken by institutions to tackle this pressing challenge effectively. This research seeks to develop a computer-based decision model for assessing information security risks. The model is scientifically constructed using the fuzzy logic method as its core approach and designed through an object-oriented approach. Impressively, the model successfully simulates 31 risk scenarios with an accuracy rate of 93.55%. © 2023 IEEE.

This study investigates the performance of Vision Transformer (ViT) variants - the Shifted Window Transformers (SWIN), Distillation with No Labels (DINO), and Data-efficient Image Transformers (DeIT) - in image captioning tasks using the Flickr8K dataset. While ViT architectures have shown promise in image classification, their effectiveness for image captioning, particularly with smaller datasets, remains unclear. The models' performance was evaluated using BLEU metrics, while training efficiency was analyzed through Pareto front analysis of computational time and accuracy. Among the tested variants, SWIN Transformers demonstrated superior performance (BLEU-1: 64.4, BLEU-2: 33.9, BLEU-3: 17.1, BLEU-4: 8.4), followed by DINO (BLEU-1: 63.1, BLEU-2: 32.7, BLEU-3: 16.4, BLEU-4: 7.5), while DeIT showed the weakest performance (BLEU-1: 61.6, BLEU-2: 31.1, BLEU-3: 14.7, BLEU-4: 6.5). SWIN Transformers achieved the shortest training time at 3 minutes 31 seconds per epoch, making it the most efficient model among ViT variants based on Pareto front analysis. While ViT variants achieved competitive BLEU-1 scores comparable to previous top models, they struggled with generating coherent, longer sentences, as evidenced by suboptimal BLEU-4 scores. These findings provide empirical evidence of how the lack of inductive bias in transformer architectures affects their ability to capture complex scene relationships, despite their strong feature detection capabilities, contributing to the understanding of transformer models' limitations in vision-language tasks, especially with limited data. © 2024 IEEE.
