Religion is a part of a fundamental human right to serve and worship their God according to their religion and belief. Mobile game application along with the development of mobile phone technology such as a smartphone, tablet, and laptop, can be used to increase the player or user interest to engage with religion thing. Using the mobile game application in mobile gadgets will expand quickly to install and use for religion engagement. The player can learn religion things with fun and entertain ways, where the player does not realize that they do something serious in an unserious way. This paper will explain the model system design for mobile game application for learning Catholicism in fun and entertaining way and for the first development was limited to only three Catholic catechisms such as bible learning, church lesson, and liturgy celebration. For the early development, three types of games were developed such as True or False game, Scramble words game, and multiple-choice game. The mobile game model was designed with a use case diagram, storyboard, and class diagram, where for the current implementation the mobile game application was implemented using a ten tables database. © 2019 IEEE.

This paper describes the maturity degree evaluation of Information Technology Governance at Information System Centre (PSI) in STMIK Mikroskil to measure IT Governance and the success of IT-based facilities that cannot be measured yet. The evaluation measured by using Process Assessment Model (PAM) from Framework COBIT 5 which refers to the specified 10 domain process. Data is collected from 36 returned-questionnaire of 47 distributed-questionnaire. Data is analyzed using Framework COBIT 5, Slovin method is used to determine the number of valid data samples, and Rating Scale Formula operated to determine the scale of capability level for each selected domain. From the evaluation results known 1 domain has been achieved the expected capability that is DSS05 at Level 4, and other process domains still exist under the expected capability level, then the results are used to establish improvement recommendation based on Framework COBIT 5. © 2018 IEEE.

Information technology enables for new way of commerce, which is a commerce activities through online media (e-commerce). Security becomes an important issue in online-system, because such system is accessible by anyone through the global network -internet. Security in terms of confidentiality, integrity, and availability becomes goals that must be achieved by any system generally, and commerce system especially, because this kind of system contains many sensitive data like customer data and transaction data. SQL Injection is a vulnerability and threat, with the most occurrence in a web based system. In this research we evaluate and analyze source code against SQL injection, and we use regular expression and escape string to prevent the SQL injection. The results of this study are findings of system vulnerability against SQL injection, which are proven by the ability to get data from database, with SQL injection techniques. System vulnerabilities were analyzed, in order to design and implement the solution for it. The solutions then tested, to validate that it has proven effectively fix the vulnerabilities, and can prevent the exploitation by SQL injection. In the end, the conclusion is that initially the system is vulnerable against SQL injection, but then the solution that being implemented has proven effectively fix the issue. © 2018 The Authors. In the University setting, part of management recorded all education transaction since the students register until they graduate. In this point, the transaction raises several new and crucial challenges. At a closer look, the concerns appeared due to no data integration, verification, and validation from parties both inside or outside of the university. In this respect, the data is not centralized or integrated. As this backdrop, this causes repeated data confirmation, and no one can authenticate the data validity when distributed to other parties. In this point of entry, the diploma certification forgery has become one of the significant issues in education in Indonesia. As a framework that enables the data integration, Blockchain contains verified data on every single of a transaction, so the data is trustworthy. With this in mind, this paper aims to discuss the best blockchain model for the university level. This study is qualitative-based research. As a result, McRhys model is introduced as a potential and implementable blockchain model in university in Indonesia. © 2019 IADIS Press. All rights reserved.

Fast and Effective Clustering Method for Ancestry Estimation

Ancestry estimation which provides family history information is one of the most popular services in direct-to-consumer genomic testing. It is also an important task which aimed to reduce the confounding by ancestry on the relationship of genotypes and disease risk in assocation studies. Several methods have been developed to generate the best ancestry estimated scores even though some of them are still facing inefficient computation time. In this paper, a combination method between KMeans clustering and PCA is proposed estimate ancestry estimation from SNP genotyping data. This method was compared with baseline model, called fastSTRUCTURE, in term of the quality of clustering and computation time. Public data from 1000 Genome project is used to train and evaluate the proposed model and the baseline model. The proposed model can successfully generate clusters with better accuracy than fastSTRUCTURE (91.02% over 90.39%). More importantly, it can boost the computation time until 100 times faster than fastSTRUCTURE (from 490 seconds to 4.86 seconds).

The current progress of information and communication technology has been critical to the development of the Internet of Things (IoT) in a aquaculture system. IoT solution in this system utilizes interconnectivity between devices to obtain fish pond monitoring data from sensing devices and then transmit the data to a remote server to be analyzed for decision-making in pond management. In this paper, we propose a smart pond IoT solution that provides a continuous and real-time pond monitoring. The system principally embeds five sensors that measure critical environmental parameters to determine water quality: temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), total dissolved solids (TDS), and salinity. The IoT solution also integrates the development of a mobile application on the android platform that allows remote monitoring capabilities for users to maintain efficient pond management. The application is designed with a friendly-user interface that helps the farmer to monitor sensor measurements, manage fish production cycle, record fish feeding schedule, and also monitor the health status of fish from multiple ponds.

To maintain a good fitness level, performing a minimum daily physical activity is important. Many people think that they have already met the suggested guidelines. However, most of them were wrong when they quantify their activity level using a personal activity tracker device. This problem indicates the need for personal physical activity tracker or wearable device to maintain the fitness level. However, as wide-range wearable devices available today, it is difficult to find the most suitable one regarding the price and quality. This paper proposes a study to explore the association between the quality and the price of the devices. The quality is evaluated by comparing the accuracy of the heart rate sensor and step counter of several wearable devices with the ground truth measurements. The test result is then analyzed using a series of statistical methods including, a paired t-test, Pearson’s correlation test, and Bland-Altman plot. Both t-test and correlation coefficient is used to plot the association between quality and price.

In this era the business competition between regions and countries will be more stringent. One way to survive and improve its performance is through the management of information, it is necessary to be able to see and assess the company from a variety of perspectives. One of the keys to surviving and playing a role is to manage complete, fast and precise information. Data analysis will be easy if the required data is available. Business intelligence techniques (BI) can be used to assist in the decision-making process. Many organization and educational institution have implemented BI as the support system. Therefore, we make a comparison study about BI research finding from several articles. From the comparison study it can be seen the research in the BI field is continues to grow and also following the technology trend. This can be seen from the topics discussed in the journal articles in the period 2010-2017. This study is conducted to see the spread and trend of business intelligence research in various forms of organization. Also can be seen the advantages of BI in the decision-making process.

A road traffic engineering (RTE) is realistically required to reduce the road traffic congestion (RTC) degree. The congestion negatively affects not only to economy and physiology factors, but also for human environment and health. This paper methodologically represents the development of ecological decision support system based on the concept of fuzzy logic (Fuzzy ecoDSS) for RTE. Three types of core method operated here;fuzzy logic, water flow algorithm (WFA), and object oriented. The method fuzzy logic used to avoid the fuzziness in parameterizing and prioritize the parameters. The WFA approach functioned to replicate the flow of road traffic and optimize it thru RTE. Finally, the method object oriented benefited to analyze and design the constructed system. Thus, the simulation result exhibits the best decision alternative taken gives better air condition (more 200% than normal condition) and better road traffic velocity (more 2,200% than normal situation). © 2018 IEEE.

With the recent rapid development of the Internet of Vehicles and autonomous driving technology, the demand for digital vehicle identification has also increased. Coupled with the gradual maturity of quantum technology, the Internet of Vehicles, which mainly uses wireless communication technology for data transmission, will face the threat of quantum computing and privacy issues. This research proposes the Vehicle Forensics Cloud System (VFCS), a framework combining post-quantum cryptography and blockchain technology to address these issues and provide a comprehensive solution for vehicle digital forensics.
