Since the emergence of Pokémon Go in 2016, the world has been introduced to Augmented Reality (AR) games. Many IT companies have begun developing augmented reality (AR) games due to the great commercial potential in this industry. Certain products may have managed to remain viable in the market, while others were forced to close due to one or two factors. Since the emergence of Pokémon Go, no other game has managed to surpass its unprecedented success. The company responsible for developing Pokémon Go has decided to shut down one of their games due to a lack of consumer interest. The technology of augmented reality (AR) is consistently associated with the concept of immersion. Immersion is a key aspect of the game that allows users to deeply engage and feel fully involved in the experience. This study will employ a quantitative methodology, utilising a questionnaire that will be distributed to and completed by those who have engaged in augmented reality (AR) games. The data will be analysed using Smart PLS to examine the impact of user experience on immersion, which in turn influences intention. After gathering over 200 participants by spreading google form questionnaires and doing data analysis, the findings indicate that only a few aspects of user experience, namely Brand Experience and User Need Experience, have an impact on reasons. Niantic, the developer of Pokémon Go, was unable to replicate their success with a similar augmented reality game called Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. The initial release occurred on June 21, 2019, and the shutdown took place on December 21, 2021. In the beginning, they shown a profound enthusiasm for the game but were unable to sustain it, much as Pokémon Go. According to Niantic CEO John Hanke, the primary reason for the game's shutdown was its immersion. Today's society is different from the past, where the speed of the internet is getting more sophisticated, and the existing gadget technology is getting faster, and of course, this is also changing the lifestyle of today's people, which of course almost half of their daily life is spent in front of gadgets. On the one hand, this is undoubtedly very good and supports humans in carrying out their daily life activities, but on the other hand, this raises new problems where humans start to lack time to communicate and socialize with each other and often making them stressed and anxious because they are already tired and do not know how to socialize anymore. This paper begins with a model and implementation of a very simple mobile application that behaves as a social media inspired by *** as a social media for academics. The design of this mobile application is done by using use case diagrams to describe existing processes and class diagrams to describe class relationships. © 2023 IEEE.

Currently, Indonesia and the whole world are being hit by the Covid-19 pandemic which has an impact on various fields of life. It affects all sectors, including the education sector. The government through the Ministry of Education and Culture makes a policy in education in terms of the learning process. Teaching and learning activities that were initially carried out face to face become distance learning which was carried out at home. In this study, a systematic literature review is conducted on automatic assessment of essay answers. Various previous studies discuss the essay answer scoring system that has been developed using various methods. We synthesize the results to enrich our understanding of the automated essay exam scoring system. The expected result of this research is that it can contribute to further research related to the automated essay exam scoring system, especially in terms of considering methods and dataset forms.

Rising cyber risks have compelled organizations to adopt better cyber-protection measures. This study focused on discovering crucial security metrics and assessing the function of red teaming in enhancing cybersecurity defenses against novel cyber hazards. The PRISMA standard considered nine core research works issued between 2014 and 2023. The inclusion of red teaming best practices can significantly enhance cybersecurity architecture. Accurate simulations of cyber threats during red teaming exercises help identify vulnerabilities, and actively embracing red teaming can amplify an organization's capacity to repel future cyber assaults. Researchers and practitioners can utilize the study's insights to pioneer novel security solutions. Combining red teaming methodologies with relevant metrics is essential for enhancing cybersecurity posture. The study's discoveries grant companies a priceless benefit in navigating the rapidly changing cyber threat environment and reinforcing their cyber protection mechanisms.

The escalating visibility of secure direct object reference (IDOR) vulnerabilities in API security, as indicated in the compilation of OWASP Top 10 API Security Risks, highlights a noteworthy peril to sensitive data. This study explores IDOR vulnerabilities found within Android APIs, intending to clarify their inception while evaluating their implications for application security. This study combined the qualitative and quantitative approaches. Insights were obtained from an actual penetration test on an Android app into the primary reasons for IDOR vulnerabilities, underscoring insufficient input validation and weak authorization methods. We stress the frequent occurrence of IDOR vulnerabilities in the OWASP Top 10 API vulnerability list, highlighting the necessity to prioritize them in security evaluations. There are mitigation recommendations available for developers, which recognize its limitations involving a possibly small and homogeneous selection of tested Android applications, the testing environment that could cause some inaccuracies, and the impact of time constraints. Additionally, the study noted insufficient threat modeling and root cause analysis, affecting its generalizability and real-world relevance. However, comprehending and controlling IDOR dangers can enhance Android API security, protect user data, and bolster application resilience.

Depression is a disease that affects everyone, both young and old. This mental illness not only affects the surrounding environment but everyone. Depression is characterized by deep sadness, behavioral changes and many other actions that are risky for people. In this research we try to solve the problem of detecting depression using Natural Language Processing (NLP) approaches, these two methods are Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) and Robustly Optimized BERT Approach (RoBERTa), where these two methods are used to detect posts made in reddit. The dataset is taken from Kaggle. The results obtained found that the average use of BERT and RoBERTa resulted in a high accuracy value of around 98% and with a well balanced precision, recall and F1-Score ratio. This research shows that there is a possibility of using BERT and RoBERTa in depression detection. © 2024 The Authors.

Bioinformatics exploration into potential mechanisms of Calamus draco for colorectal cancer treatment

As one of the cancer types with the highest incidence rates, colorectal cancer (CRC) would benefit from treatments with fewer side effects and reduced treatment-resistant potential. One of the options is to harness the anti-CRC potential of natural products. Previous studies have shown that Calamus draco exudate, dragon's blood, has anticancer activity in liver cancer and acute myeloid leukemia, but its bioactivity has not been studied in CRC. Here we conduct a bioinformatics study based on network pharmacology to explore the anti-CRC potential and mechanism of C. draco -derived compounds. The bioinformatics pipeline is composed of compound and target collection, biological network evaluation, and enrichment analysis. We found that there are 43 bioactive compounds from C. draco targeting 91 CRC-related targets, of which most compounds target MEN1, PTGS2, and IDH1. Further analyses show that the targets of C. draco are involved in the cellular response to hypoxia. By inhibiting those targets, C. draco bioactive compounds can potentially hinder angiogenesis and increase treatment response efficacy.

Electrical energy consumption is always increasing, and this causes the supply of electrical energy to be increased to compensate. One solution is to predict electricity energy consumption using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in Smart Homes. Several studies' solutions for predicting electrical energy consumption usually focused only on performance but rarely evaluated Machine Learning (ML) by correlation for feature selection and utilized interpretability model. This study uses an ML model for predicting utilization (Linear Regression, Decision Tree, Random Forest, and XGBoost). Then, Feature Selection utilizes correlation to choose the best feature. After that, the interpretability model utilizes Local Interpretable Model-agnostic Explanations (LIME). The results show that XGBoost has the best Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) value (0.318) with a percentage of the number of train and test data (90/10). After that, by eliminating features that correlate with 0.01, XGBoost improves with an increase of (0.018) to become (0.3). Then from LIME. This work also gets positive feature from XGBoost such as: "Furnance, Well dan Living Room". © 2023 IEEE.

Navigating the complex legal and regulatory landscape requires a sophisticated platform that is not only comprehensive but also user-friendly and enables seamless analysis and document comparison in the legal realm. To address this challenging requirement, this research is dedicated to the user experience (UX) design of state-of the-art cloud-native mobile applications specifically designed for legal and regulatory harmonization. The methodology used is based on design thinking principles and takes advantage of the benefits of cloud computing. These include, but are not limited to, scalability, reliability, and security. The result is a solution that is not only powerful but also cost-effective. The core of this application follows a user-centered design philosophy and involves potential users closely in the design process. A comprehensive evaluation is performed using the System Usability Scale (SUS) methodology to measure the effectiveness and usability of the application. The results of this comprehensive approach are convincing. The application has an impressive 95.5% usage rate, indicating strong user engagement. Furthermore, user satisfaction ratings are particularly high and transformative impact of this application in a complex environment of legal harmonization. Through its innovative design, seamless functionality, and user-centric approach, this application has proven to be not only a technical solution, but also a catalyst for positive change in the legal and regulatory harmonization process. © 2023 IEEE.

This systematic review provides a comprehensive overview of the methods used to integrate genomic and clinical data in cancer prediction. The review includes 19 studies across various cancers, including breast, colorectal, melanoma, lung, pancreatic, and thyroid. The studies employed different methods to combine genomic and clinical data, including weighted polygenic risk scores, genetic and non-genetic risk scores, and different machine learning algorithms. The results show significant improvements in model prediction performance accuracy across multiple studies. The review highlights the potential benefits of integrating genetic and phenotypic information to improve disease risk prediction models and inform personalized healthcare strategies. © 2024 IEEE.
