This paper investigates recent advancements and methodologies in Automatic Text Summarization, a field that has garnered significant attention for its ability to condense lengthy documents into concise summaries while preserving key information and themes. The study examines the development of Automatic Text Summarization models, including both extractive and abstractive approaches. Additionally, the research delves into the use of graph convolutional networks for text representation in e-commerce product review summarization. The study employs an e-commerce dataset in conjunction with a graph convolutional network model, covering stages from preprocessing and tokenization to constructing graph-based data representation. The expected outcome is a graph-structured representation of input text data derived from Indonesian-language e-commerce product reviews.

In this digital era, we are exposed to a large amount of data. This includes biological data, which stores information about living organisms, including Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), genes, and proteins. With the development of information technology and information system, most of available biological data are stored in an online public database. Many of the databases are free-access and easily used, which helps the users, especially researchers, to make use of the data. Among the known public biological databases are the University of California Santa Cruz (UCSC) Genome Browser Database and the Rat Genome Database (RGD). These two databases provide access to the biological data from different organisms. This paper aims to describe the technology of public biological databases. Also elucidated in this paper are the differences features between UCSC Genome Browser Database and the RGD. Our results showed that the UCSC contains much more biological data and features than the RGD. However, the genome browser of UCSC has a complex display, while the RGD has a simple display. Overall, both databases give the users the option to choose the most suitable database for them. © 2022 IEEE.

Classifying Argument Component using Deep Learning on English Dataset

The study focuses on the argument component in argumentation mining, specifically examining claim and premise types. Various datasets exist for argumentation components, each with different classes. The study evaluates the performance of deep learning architectures, particularly using contextual embedding as the initial layer. Six datasets with diverse argument components are used for validation. The research provides a comprehensive comparison of deep learning architectures, combining multiple layers such as BERT or word embedding with LSTM, GRU, or CNN. The results and their implications are discussed in the concluding section of the journal. The study demonstrates significant results with the BERT-BiGRU-CRF architecture after conducting several experiments. © 2023 Slovene Society Informatika. All rights reserved.

The launch of StuntingDB is believed to enliven the role of database management systems (DBMS) in Indonesia's stunting research. However, a novelty in stunting data management that enables parallel project activation in multiple observation areas is necessary. Several improved functionalities in StuntingDB must be designed to prevent the high demand for accessibility in the middle of stunting research. Connolly and Begg's principle of database design is adopted along with Software Development Life Cycle's Waterfall model for creating a continuous development of the system. This research produces a new database design in the form of Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) and Use Case Diagram to help system developers realizing a new version of StuntingDB for stunting research in several observation areas. © 2022 IEEE.

Automated face mask classification has surfaced recently following the COVID-19 mask wearing regulations. The current State-of-The-Art of this problem uses CNN-based methods such as ResNet. However, attention-based models such as Transformers emerged as one of the alternatives to the status quo. We explored the Transformer-based model on the face mask classification task using three models: Vision Transformer (ViT), Swin Transformer, and MobileViT. Each model is evaluated with a top-1 accuracy score of 0.9996, 0.9983, and 0.9969, respectively. We concluded that the Transformer-based model has the potential to be explored further. We recommended that the research community and industry explore its integration implementation with CCTV. © 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

This study analyzed interactions between Twitter users in conversations regarding Indonesia's state-owned vaccine manufacturer 'Biofarma' in 2021. The primary objective of this study is to identify Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) due to the need of authentic and trustworthy persona in social media. A technique called network centrality was employed in this research alongside four centrality measurements, namely degree of centrality, eigenvector centrality, betweenness centrality, and closeness centrality. Focused on using a reply network interaction dataset, the research discovered several important usernames with different roles that enlivened the conversation and have a potential for social media marketing optimization. © 2022 IEEE.

In smart retail, the problem in grocery product image classification is fine-grained image representation. Product variants are characterized by differences in color, text, and size. However, while the process of image classification involves quite complex stages, there is still a misclassification of grocery products. This is because there are many areas of the image being calculated, which makes the models not optimally calculate the most important area. This paper aims to identify a number of patch image formations as an important area of the product by involving Binary Robust Invariant Scalable Keypoints (BRISK) as a feature descriptor, K-Means Clustering, and the elbow method. First, we experiment with the BRISK keypoint feature for grocery products with different categories of brands. Second, the keypoint features are clustered using K-Means clustering. Lastly, the number of clusters is analyzed using the elbow method to find the optimal number. The result shows that the number of clusters from 8 products has variations of 5, 5, and 6 clusters. Finally, each cluster represents an important area in forming patches to support fine-grained grocery product image classification.

An accurate predictive model of temperature and humidity plays a vital role in many industrial processes that utilize a closed space such as in agriculture and building management. With the exceptional performance of deep learning on time-series data, developing a predictive temperature and humidity model with deep learning is propitious. In this study, we demonstrated that deep learning models with multivariate time-series data produce remarkable performance for temperature and relative humidity prediction in a closed space. In detail, all deep learning models that we developed in this study achieve almost perfect performance with an R value over 0.99.

Indonesian Hoax News Classification with Multilingual Transformer Model and BERTopic

Technology and information growth enable internet users to play a role in disseminating information, including hoax news. One way that to avoid hoax news is to look for sources of information, but valid news is not always perceived as 'true' by individuals because human judgments can lead to bias. Several studies on automatic hoax news classification have been carried out using various deep learning approaches such as the pre-trained multilingual transformer model. This study focuses on classifying Indonesian hoax news using the pre-trained transformer multilingual model (XLM-R and mBERT) combined with a BERTopic model as a topic distribution model. The result shows that the proposed method outperforms the baseline model in classifying fake news in the low-resource language (Indonesian) with accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 results of 0.9051, 0.9515, 0.8233, and 0.8828 respectively. © 2022 Slovene Society Informatika. Nowadays, many companies, industries, and organizations deal with digital disruption issues. They have to deal with it and take the initiative properly to keep their sustainability. Initiating a digital transformation by creating intelligent digital systems is one of many initiatives that could be considered to overcome these issues. Developing an intelligent digital system will maintain a company's performance, efficiency, and compliance. Numerous organizations are willing to create an intelligent digital system for their governance. However, they do not have sufficient knowledge on how to do it, including its enterprise architecture. Knowledge of enterprise architecture is an important part of properly developing an intelligent digital system. This research aimed to conduct a literature review to determine the perspective of the enterprise architecture model in intelligent digital system development. The second goal is to find recent trends and technology in intelligent digital enterprise architecture. Theoretically, it gives a contribution to providing a new perspective of more intelligent Enterprise Architecture with its trends and technologies compared to the old paradigm.
