In life, various challenges and problems faced by deaf people such as communication skills and other problems, including emotional, mental, and societal development However, technology is needed that can help the process. This Smart Application try to build communication between the deaf to share thoughts in group chats, including getting information about the deaf, so that the communication learning process for the deaf becomes easier. The proposed model is using Unified Modeling Languages (UML) diagrams, such as case diagrams for the current proposed idea process and class diagrams for relational tables or database stores. In addition, the User interface (UI) is implemented in this research work, Personal Home Pages (PHP) as a web server programming and MySQL database as an open-source database.

Measurement of airline service sentiment analysis using vector space model

Airlines are an organization that provides flight services for passengers or goods in Indonesia. There are many airlines available at this time giving passengers the option to choose the airline they want to use. Online reviews are one factor that is quite important in influencing consumer trust and interest in choosing an airline. On the Tripadvisor site, few or many reviews are given by consumers will have an influence on other potential customers but monitoring and organizing reviews from other consumers is not easy. There are too many reviews published from online review sites if they are processed manually. Therefore, it is necessary to use a sentiment analysis application to classify positive, negative, and neutral reviews from consumers so that it speeds up and makes it easier to review the shortcomings of each airline. Method Vector Space Model is used because it is relevant and effective in searching and categorizing text documents by using Cosine Similarity to look for similarities between the query vector and the document vector. The evaluation method used is Confusion Matrix which will calculate the accuracy precision and recall of the resulting test value. The results of the evaluation and validation carried out by this study resulted in an accuracy value of 76,42% with a value of precision of 83% and a recall of 87%.

Capital market transactions provide an opportunity for investors to acquire ownership of company shares and capital gains, as well as dividends. However, alongside the benefits, there are risks of capital loss and liquidation, leading to stress and depression due to profit targets and decision-making errors. To mitigate the risk of decision-making errors in investment, data analysis is needed, including sentiment analysis, which influences stock prices. This study aims to develop a new deep learning model to classify Indonesian public opinion on JCI stocks, especially the Energy sector, obtained from the Twitter social media platform. The model will perform sentiment analysis and categorize opinions as negative, neutral, or positive. We created a dataset that was trained using Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) to summarize the analysis of public sentiment above so that it can assist investors in studying public sentiment as a reference for investing with a yield precision of 76%, Recall of 77%, and F1-score on 76%.

Genomics study, as opposed to socio-anthropology, has been demonstrated as an excellent tool to picture biological relatedness and disease risk factors. To analyze the data obtained from the study, Genome-wide Association Study (GWAS) has been more than decades known as the mainstay approach., is the most popular approach in analysing genomics data. The confounding variables selection, being that ancestry estimation or population stratification, is substantial to maintain the quality of GWAS. Researchers have developed various methods in extracting the population stratification information from high dimensional genomics data, especially Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs) data. In the present study, we proposed an implementation of Principal Component Analysis (PCA)-complemented Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM) as an unsupervised model to estimate population stratification from samples. The results derived from this approach was further compared to that resulted from K-means and from the commonly used ancestry estimation software, fast STRUCTURE. We figured out that our recent improved approach outperformed the two later mentioned as shown by the average cluster and population scores. Furthermore, it was able to generate the probability distribution of each sample across all population, despite its limited quality. These intriguing results worth further investigations with much more comprehensive population coverage and more advanced algorithm.

This study aims to find articles and clauses from the 1945 Constitution (UUD 1945) using the Vector Space Model method that calculates the similarity of many documents. One document is represented by one clause from each article of the 1945 Constitution. The next step is pre-processing by deleting unnecessary words (stopwords) and changing it into basic words (stemmer) in the Indonesian language. Each document will be indexed to speed up query and simplify the weighting. Words weighting in documents is performed using the TF-IDF (Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency) algorithm by calculating the frequency of words in documents and all documents. The document search results will be presented in the ranking with the largest number of scoring appears at the top (descend sorting). The word search in this system more or less takes 90-100 milliseconds in 73 documents. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The existence of fine-grained image classification supporting smart retail provides effectiveness in recognizing products with high similarity. However, the generic classification method performs poorly in identifying products from a subordinate category. This paper aims to identify augmentation techniques to leverage the Vision Transformer (ViT) model to classify the fine-grained grocery product, which involves embedding patches and transformer encoders to extract the main features. First, we develop a fine-grained image dataset with ColorJitter, CutOut, and combining both augmentations. Secondly, we perform experiments and analysis of ViT size, embedded patch size and image size in the patch embedding process. Lastly, the ViT model are evaluated according to the image sizes 224, 384, and 512 in accuracy, loss, and confusion matrix. The highest accuracy was obtained at 0.9922. The ColorJitter and CutOut improved the confusion matrix in ViT-B/16 and ViT-L/16 with an image size of 384 and 512. The results show that both augmentations in the ViT model are able to distinguish fine-grained grocery products.

Stock Price Prediction Using LSTM and Search Economics Optimization

Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) has been one of the most popular methods in time-series forecasting. Within the LSTM architecture, there are hyperparameters present that need to be optimized in order to achieve the optimum results. In order to optimize these hyperparameters, a metaheuristic optimization method was used. A metaheuristic algorithm was used as a way to reduce both time and computational complexity. We used the Search Economics algorithm because we found the algorithm quite interesting while being unpopular. The evaluation was carried out by using Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) as the primary metric used for the optimization. The dataset being used in this experiment is the stock price of one of the most well-known financial institutes in Indonesia. The SE-Optimized LSTM was able to create a prediction that did not overfit with RMSE of 538.92, which was great compared to the unoptimized LSTM model with RMSE of 661.041 and ARIMA model with RMSE of 2809.015. © 2020. Blockchain has become a mainstream technology in our society in recent years. With its nature of secure decentralization, people can create decentralized applications by developing smart contracts on top of a blockchain platform. With blockchain, technology is still in the developing phase, the smart contract development process in blockchain has its unique complexity and uncertainty. The condition will drive the challenge for any developers to work on this issue. In this research, we determine the smart contract development model in creating decentralized applications. Our proposed model aligned with our findings in the systematic mapping process of this study.

A location's Take-up Rate was significantly influenced by its Internet connectivity and availability. The purpose of this research is to answer concerns about internal Internet Service Provider issues that affect Internet connectivity in clusters of West Java, Indonesia. It also aims to evaluate the results of models that forecast how these internal factors will affect internet connectivity. According to the research findings, the FTTH Cluster has eight significant Internet predictor connectivity out of 18 elements. Activation delay and Administration Documentation of Activation with Connectivity were the two major parameters modeled out of the 18 components. Artificial Neural Network (ANN), Support Vector Machine (SVM), and Decision Tree (DT) models were used to predict Internet Broadband Connectivity Classification based on the two most important variables. According to the study, ANN is the best model, with 99% accuracy and 99.6% precision when compared to SVM and DT. Furthermore, it exceeds previous studies that used the ANN model and achieved 97.92% accuracy.
