Effect of Surface Roughness on the Magnetism, Nano-indentation, Surface Energy, and Electrical Properties of Co60Fe20Dy20 Films on Si (100) Substrate

In this study, we focused on depositing a target material, cobalt-iron-dysprosium (Co60Fe20Dy20), onto silicon (Si) (100) substrates with thickness varying from 10 nm to 50 nm through a direct-current (DC) magnetron sputtering technique. The subsequent step involved subjecting the samples to an hour-long annealing process in a vacuum annealing furnace at temperatures of 100°C, 200°C, and 300°C. To assess the elemental composition of the CoFeDy films, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) was employed. An observed trend indicated an increase in low-frequency alternating-current magnetic susceptibility (χac) with the increasing thickness. Remarkably, the CoFeDy films exhibited their peak χac following annealing at 300°C, with an optimal resonance frequency of 50 Hz. After annealing at 300°C, the CoFeDy film’s surface energy peaked at 50 nm. The magnetic, electrical, and adhesive properties of the CoFeDy films were notably influenced by surface roughness at different annealing temperatures. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) analysis revealed a gradual reduction in film roughness post-annealing, corresponding to smoother surfaces indicative of a weaker domain wall pinning effect, heightened carrier conductivity, and increased liquid spreading. Collectively, these outcomes contributed to diminished χac, reduced electrical resistance, and enhanced adhesion. Bandung is well-known as a creative city in Indonesia. One of the growing creative industries in Bandung is craft industries. In order to develop the industries, the craft companies need to increase their competitiveness. This study aims to identify the business system required by the small craft companies based on its development stages. The development states are divided into three phase. There are fluid, transitional and mature phase. Data are collected through questionnaires. The questionnaires are distributed to small craft companies in Bandung. The data are analyzed using descriptive and qualitative analysis methods. From this study, it can be concluded that the required modules for small craft industry in fluid, transitional and mature phase are: (1) product design and development, (2) sales and marketing, (3) procurement and production, (4) human resource management, (5) retail shop management, and (6) finance and accounting module. However, the application of each modules are built gradually based on the requirement in each phase. This results could be a recommendation for developers in designing MSMEs business system. Also, the package of business system can be sold with affordable price.

Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the quadrotor type are widely used in both civilian and military applications due to their superior maneuverability, lower manufacturing costs, and the absence of crew risk. This has led to an increased demand for control and navigation systems that enable autonomous operation, allowing quadrotors to follow desired flight paths and avoid obstacles. In this study, an obstacle detection and avoidance system for an autonomous quadrotor was designed and implemented. The obstacle detection system can detect obstacles up to 7 meters away with a mean average precision (mAP) of 89.63%. The position estimation system can estimate obstacle positions up to 6 meters on the y-axis and 1.2 meters on the x-axis, with average errors of 0.146 meters and 0.019 meters, respectively. The flight route planning system uses the A* algorithm to calculate the shortest path to the target while avoiding obstacles. Based on test results, the quadrotor successfully detects obstacles, estimates their positions, determines the optimal flight route, and follows it with a mean absolute error (MAE) of 0.101 meters, demonstrating reliable autonomous operation.

The food supply chain at present is important to the human and there have a lot of transportation modes to distribute food from manufacturer to customer also business to business. The customers there need fresh food and the providers always find the best way in logistics that send their food to customers with the best quality and fresh, that is why the cold chain of logistics is popular and needs to improve more for the customers. However, there is no clear way to improve the performance and assessment of food logistics service, the aim of this study focused on service quality of food logistics and identify a set of service quality dimensions that developed from the SERVQUAL model for measuring their logistics process after that researcher prioritized the dimensions and sub-dimensions by Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and finalize the local weight and global weight from AHP result. Finally, this research has shown the providers and the customers were prioritized for punctuality in food logistics service. It should be concern and improvement about punctuality in a food logistics service at the same time, the worst dimension of the provider's perspective is tangible and the customer perspective is empathy, that they did not pay attention it should be improved later. © 2023 IEEE.

Transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) recently have attracted much attention because of their outstanding catalytic activity, low cost, and earth abundance in the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). Among these TMDs, MoS2 and WS2 are recognized as promising HER electrocatalysts and have been explored to be one of the candidates for replacing precious metals. In this work, the electrocatalytic activity of WS2 grown in Ar-only, Ar + H2, and ambient environments were studied, where the WS2 was synthesized by thermolysis from (NH4)2WS4 precursor. Different surface morphologies are shown under the different growth atmospheres. The structures of pure WS2, WS2 and WO3 mixed, and almost WO3 were prepared in different growth atmospheres of Ar-only, Ar + H2, and ambient environment, respectively. All the materials prepared in these different environments exhibit high crystalline characteristic. Especially, the pure WS2 grown in an Ar-only environment presents the preferred (103) lattice plane. The pure WS2 performs the best H2 evolution efficiency, indicating that high crystallinity and preferred (103) lattice plane could be relative to the electrocatalytic activity. The studies provide fundamental insight for further design and preparation of electrocatalysts, useful in the development of clean energy. © 2023 Elsevier Ltd

A multi-band low-pass sigma-delta ($\Sigma \Delta$) modulator with cascaded integrators and voltage-controlled oscillator with divider are presented for phase locked loop controller. The proposed prototype of phase locked loop was implemented in tsmc 0.18 $\mu$m CMOS process. Another feature is that only one set loop filter is designed to promote multi-band by auto-switching capacitors with quantum algorithm from phase frequency detector to achieve a multi-band solution. Experimental have achieved the SNDR of 42/33 dB over 1/2 MHz, respectively for low power multi-band phase locked loop sensor control applications.

This article proposes excellent class-C voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) with dual-balanced mixer. The oscillator consists of a double resonance LC resonator in shunt with one pair of capacitive cross-coupled nMOSFETs. The common source of cross-coupled nMOSFETs is congregated to the ground from a tail transistor in shunt with a capacitor, dynamic bias is applied to the gate of the tail. The proposed oscillator has been implemented with the tsmc $0.18\mu\mathrm{m}$ CMOS technology and the core current of 2.535 mA and DC dissipation of 2.99 mW respectively at the dc drain-source bias of 1.18V. The oscillator can generate differential high-band and low-band signals at 4.286GHz and 2.94GHz respectively. The die area of the class-C oscillator is $1.87\times 1.109\ \text{mm}^{2}$ . The layout dimension of the mixer is $0.6\times 0.7\ \text{mm}^{2}$ .

The proposed integrated CMOS front-end chip design, intended for use in 2.4 GHz radio frequency front-end receiver, has been implemented in tsmc 0.18um CMOS processing. The 2.4 GHz receiver front-end design consists of image reject low noise amplifier (LNA), the 3 rd order passive bandpass Gm-C loop filter, gilbert cell double balance mixer with passive balun and switched capacitor tuning voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO). The proposed 2.4 GHz antenna applying for 2.4 GHz RF front-end receiver application is presented and enhance performance in this article design. Experimental results of the RF integrated 2.4 GHz RF frontend receiver exhibit radiation pattern with the proposed 2.4 GHz to 2.5 GHz antenna at anechoic chamber room.

This article introduces RF wireless integrated transmitter for 5.8GHz communication and RFID applications. The proposed wireless integrated transmitter consists of two-stage class A CMOS power amplifier (PA) with bandgap voltage reference (BGR) bias, pre-distorter, folded-cascode mixer with balun, differential cross-coupled Colpitts quadrature voltage-controlled oscillator (QVCO), band-pass Gm-C filter and antenna design. The presented PA design presents input/ output return loss of 14dB/23dB, conversion gain of 15.5dB, the output 1-dB compression point (OP 1dB) of 16.5dBm, two tone test / output 3 rd order intercept point (OIP3) of 25.8dBm and power added efficiency (PAE) higher than 23%, respectively. The implemented integrated transmitter using 0.18um CMOS technology with antenna has experimental at anechoic chamber.

This article proposed integrated millimeter wave receiver with hybrid beamforming of radar detection with deep learning, high performance, and low power dissipation. The microsystem also designs lidar detection to upgrade accuracy on embedded electromobility. The traditional pedestrian detection system (PDS) on embedded platform introduced as edge computing vision for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). The millimeter wave receiver promoted to reduce image computation with featured object and enhance throughput with parallel processing on deep convolutional layers of ARM Neon to comparison with produce MobileNet and training of others neural network.
