The embedded platform of vehicle introduced as edge computing vision and deep learning for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). The proposed phase locked loop design of millimeter wave receiver consists of phase frequency detector with charge pump, loop filter and injection locked frequency divider for radar detection. In terms of receiving data, this article uses the array headlamp module as the optical fusion, the millimeter wave receiver module as the distance experiments source, and then compile C++ with NVIDIA Jetson Nano for image lane analysis, while MobileNet uses the Yolov3-tiny algorithm for image object detection.

A continuous-time quadrature bandpass sigma-delta (ΣΔ) modulator consisting of a chain of integrators with weighted capacitive feedforward summation (CICFF) topology is presented for LTE-A wireless controllers. The main advantage of the proposed modulator adopts the weighted capacitor technology to save a feedforward summation amplifier, hence reduces power consumption from QVCO. The phase locked loop was implemented in tsmc 0.18 μm CMOS process. With 1.8 V supply voltage and 160 M-samples/s and - 1.0 dBm 1 MHz sinusoid, measured results have achieved a dynamic range of 56 dB, a peak SNDR of 52.8 dB, a SFDR of 59 dB, an ENOB of 8.49-bit over 2.5 MHz signal bandwidth and a power dissipation of 18.5 mW. Including pads, the chip area is 1.3×1.5 mm 2 .

Chatbots are becoming a common trend in the service industry, education, and daily life. Increasing evidence has shown that chatbots have the potential to change the way people learn and search for information in human behavior. However, a systematic review of chatbot-related human behavior research with high citation rates has not been performed. Papers with high citation rates represent the latest changes in a particular research field, and reflect the current issues or research trends. By reading highly cited papers, researchers can identify important research questions. Therefore, this article presents a systematic literature review exploring the latest changes in chatbot research, and reviews the top 100 highly cited articles. The review shows that the highly cited chatbot-related studies have proposed new conversation strategies and compared different modes of human–human online conversations and human–chatbot conversations to find more effective methods of online communication. In addition, existing research has focused on high-level statistical performance and system development and testing. The findings also show that chatbots have started to be applied to the field of education, and there is much potential for the use of chatbots to improve the learning process and learning outcomes. © 2021 The Authors

IIOF: Intra- and Inter-feature orthogonal fusion of local and global features for music emotion recognition

In this paper, we propose intra- and inter-feature orthogonal fusion (IIOF) of local and global features obtained from MS-SincResNet or MS-SSincResNet (a variant of MS-SincResNet) for music emotion recognition (MER). Given a raw waveform of music signal, MS-SincResNet/MS-SSincResNet is first used to learn several 2D representations having different receptive fields and obtain embeddings with time-frequency information from different layers. Then, local and global features are extracted from these embeddings. IIOF consisting of intra-feature OF and inter-feature OF is further employed to integrate both local and global features to obtain a discriminative descriptor for MER. The intra-feature OF is used to enhance the diversity of the global feature, and the inter-feature OF is utilized to reduce redundancies and produce complementary information between local and global features. The experimental results have demonstrated that the representation discriminability can be enhanced by IIOF considering the feature orthogonality. Furthermore, extensive experimental results have shown that the proposed method outperforms other state-of-the-art methods in terms of regression and classification tasks on the well-known MER datasets, including the DEAM dataset and the PMEmo dataset. Non-conformance cost is one of the key performance indicators in determining the success of executing a project. This study will substantiate the significance of two consecutive fiscal years of non-conformance cost data set in project execution of smart grid. A two-Sample T-Test was used to compare the means of two consecutive years' data sets. All the results of both fiscal years' data set were insignificant. Since it is insignificant, the best recommendation is to thoroughly review the lessons learned from the previous projects and implementation of preventive actions to mitigate or even prevent the occurrence/ reoccurrence of non-conformance and non-conformance costs. A continuous improvement in preventing failures will assure success and increase the profitability margin of the project. © 2023 ACM.

The Effects of Growth Environments on Ws2 in Electrocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution Reaction

Transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) recently have attracted much attention because of their outstanding catalytic activity, low cost, and earth abundance in the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). Among these TMDs, MoS2 and WS2 are recognized as promising HER electrocatalysts and have been explored to be one of the candidates for replacing precious metals. In this work, the electrocatalytic activity of WS2 grown in Ar-only, Ar + H2, and ambient environments were studied, where the WS2 was synthesized by thermolysis from (NH4)2WS4 precursor. Different surface morphologies are shown under the different growth atmospheres. The structures of pure WS2, WS2 and WO3 mixed, and almost WO3 grow under the growth atmospheres of Ar-only, Ar + H2, and ambient environment, respectively. All the materials prepared in these different environments exhibit high crystalline characteristic. Especially, the pure WS2 grown in an Ar-only environment presents the preferred (103) lattice plane. The pure WS2 performs the best H2 evolution efficiency, indicating that high crystallinity and preferred (103) lattice plane are relative to the electrocatalytic activity. The studies provide fundamental insight for further design and preparation of electrocatalysts, useful in the development of clean energy. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Growth Mechanism and Photoresponses of Anodized WO3 Nanotubes Fabricated Using Aao Templates

For anodic aluminum oxide (AAO)-assisted anodization process, almost all metal oxide nanostructures are in the form of nanodots and nanorods, while tubular metal oxide nanostructures are rarely investigated. In this study, the anodized WO3 nanotubes with cap structures are successfully fabricated via AAO assistance in an anodization process. The height of the WO3 nanotubes is limited to ~180 nm by an electric field of 0.75 GV/m due to the dielectric breakdown effect, which is larger than the height of ~130 nm for the nanorods with 0.855 GV/m. The WO3 species is the dominant component at the top of the nanotubes, while the incomplete oxides such as W2O5, WOx, and even tungsten metal rule the elementss at the bottom. The bottom-up growth mechanism of the WO3 nanotubes is identified at the oxide/metal interface. The photoresponse of the WO3 nanotubes exhibits superiority under blue and UV light irradiation compared to the incompletely anodized WO3 nanorings, whereas opposite results are observed under red and green light irradiation. This result demonstrates that completely anodized structures facilitate exciton pumping, while incomplete oxides are conducive to low-energy excitons. The unique tubular metal oxide nanostructures are advantageous for designing various sensing devices, especially in optics. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Due to pandemic Covid-19, there is an increase and rough transition into remote work. Communication tools/platforms are softwares used by industries to facilitate different functionalities like remote technical support and communication. Especially for service industries, coordinators and engineers adapted on using these tools to support internal and external communications. For a certain machine service company, Skype and Microsoft Teams are the main communication tools used. The objective of this study is to determine the usability/user experience of these tools of engineers and coordinators on their daily activities. System Usability Scale were used to evaluate their user experience. As interpreted using the Curved Grading Scale, only the use of Microsoft Teams of Coordinators is graded as D, and the rest are graded as F. Based on the results on the user experience of coordinators and engineers using platforms Microsoft Teams and Skype, the low scores show that they are struggling with the usability of these tools due to drastic change and adaptability and limitation of activities that these tools can only perform. © 2023 ACM.

This study employed the Taguchi method and analysis of variance to investigate the factors that influence the deterioration of the lift-off pyrotechnics when they are stored under various relative humidity (RH) and temperature conditions. A field emission scanning electron microscope and an energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscope were used to observe the microstructures and elements of pyrotechnic samples. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and Vent Sizing Package 2 (VSP2) were applied to measure the relationship between the trace heat flow of the samples and temperature as well as the thermal runaway reactions in a pseudo-adiabatic environment. A DSC analysis and a thermodynamic ASTM E698 analysis were combined to explore the safety of lift-off pyrotechnics and the related thermal hazards. The energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and DSC experimental results revealed that KNO3 is highly soluble. However, when RH and exposure time increased, the surface dissolution of oxidants decreased the height of the second exothermic peak, resulting in incomplete combustion and ignition failure. The ASTM E698 thermokinetic analysis results indicated that the apparent activation energy (Ea) of the samples increased substantially after being immersed in deionized water. Notably, the Ea of colored smoke increased from 46.88 to 155.91 kJ/mol, indicating that the examined pyrotechnics were more sensitive to a decrease in temperature than to an increase in humidity. A large amount of water can be used to alleviate the reactivity of pyrotechnics and thus reduce pyrotechnic hazards. The VSP2 analysis results indicated that the self-boosting rate of the samples was greater under 40% RH than under pristine conditions;however, this rate decreased substantially under 80% RH and after immersion in deionized water. The results of the Taguchi experiment and analysis of variance revealed that humidity contributed 63.60% and 50.86% to Ea and maximum pressure, respectively. Accordingly, contro

The article presents phase - locked loop consists of frequency synthesizers and multi-bands low-pass continuous-time $\Sigma-\Delta$ modulators. The promoted sigma - delta $(\Sigma-\Delta)$ modulators with cascaded integrator and frequency synthesizers are presented for phase locked loop controller. The promoted integration of phase - locked loop was implemented in tsmc 0.18 μm CMOS process. Experimental has achieved the SNDR of 42/ 33 dB over half MHz, phase noise of voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) produces -120.08 dBc/Hz at 1MHz offset, and phase noise of PLL produces - 113.2 dBc/Hz at 1MHz offset, respectively. This dual-bands phase-locked loop (PLL) are carefully integrated for low dissipation sensor control applications.
