Cyber identity theft has become a growing concern in the digital age, as personal and sensitive data becomes increasingly vulnerable to cyberattacks. detecting and preventing identity theft is a critical challenge for organizations and individuals alike, requiring advanced machine learning and deep learning techniques to stay ahead of malicious attacks. In this paper, we propose a novel hybrid model, Cascaded ResNet-lSTM, for the prediction of cyber identity theft. The model integrates Residual Networks (ResNet) for spatial feature extraction and long Short-Term Memory (lSTM) for temporal sequence learning. The combination of these two architectures allows the model to efficiently detect complex identity theft patterns by capturing both spatial and temporal dependencies in the data. The dataset utilized for this study, sourced from Kaggle, consists of 25 varied metrics and 40,000 records. Comprehensive preprocessing steps, including missing value handling, outlier detection, and dimensionality reduction using an AutoEncoder, were applied. The proposed model achieves a significantly higher accuracy of 92.65%, compared to existing models such as XGBoost (88.10%), Random Forest (86.35%), and Support Vector Machine (85.20%). Additional performance metrics, including precision (93.45%), recall (91.30%), and F1-score (92.35%), further emphasize the effectiveness of the proposed model in identifying cyber identity theft with high reliability. The hybrid architecture of ResNet and lSTM enables the model to outperform traditional approaches by reducing false positives and enhancing detection accuracy, making it a robust solution for cybersecurity applications. © 2024 IEEE.

An emerging threat within blockchain systems is the malicious tactic known as eclipse attacks, wherein attackers aim to deceive and gain control over targeted nodes. despite the increasing popularity of blockchain technology, effective defence mechanisms against eclipse attacks have been lacking. A novel and dynamic defence model designed explicitly for Proof-of-Work (PoW) consensus blockchain systems is proposed to address this critical issue. The model relies on a node-to-node evaluation mechanism to ensure robust protection. By leveraging mutual evaluations conducted between clients and incorporating the renowned Kademlia algorithm, a ranking value is assigned to each node within the defence model. These rankings empower nodes to prudently select trustworthy peers as neighbours based on a threshold comparison, effectively mitigating the risk posed by malicious nodes. Notably, the proposed approach significantly enhances the security of blockchain systems without necessitating modifications to existing protocols or network structures. The effectiveness of the proposed defence model in countering eclipse attacks is extensively validated through a series of experiments. Furthermore, the approach surpasses previous defence strategies, offering a higher probability of successful defence while maintaining minimal overhead. With its straightforward implementation and operational efficiency, the dynamic defence model is an ideal solution for real-world deployment scenarios. This research presents a compelling and robust defence model against eclipse attacks in PoW blockchain systems, addressing the existing gap in defence mechanisms. Furthermore, this advancement paves the way for the wider adoption of blockchain applications across various domains by providing enhanced security, reliability, and trustworthiness. © 2024 Elsevier B.V.. Blockchain is the technology that has had the greatest influence on our lives in the last decade. It is a technique that makes it difficult to hack the system or alter the data it stores, keeping it safe and unchangeable at all times. Our research exploits this unique feature provided by blockchain to ensure the privacy of job applicants. We extract text from resumes in PdF format, encrypt it and store the hash value in a blockchain. Our implementation involves the usage of Ganache, Truffle and Metamask with a front end designed using ReactJS. The resumes can be accessed via the blockchain from the administrator side and viewed in its original format. The data integrity of the resumes can then be checked at any point by converting a resume to its unique hash and comparing it with the hash stored inside the blockchain. © 2022 IEEE.

Apple leaf diseases, like cedar apple rust, black rot, and apple scab, pose severe obstacles to apple farming and impact crop productivity and quality. The sophisticated classification model ApplediseaseNet-B7, known for its efficiency and outstanding performance, was created using the EfficientNetB7 architecture and is presented in this paper. The model improves its feature extraction capabilities by utilizing pretrained weights from ImageNet, which makes it a good fit for differentiating between various apple leaf diseases. ApplediseaseNet-B7 incorporates numerous unique layers intended to increase classification precision. A Global Average Pooling layer streamlines feature maps, complicated patterns are captured by a dense layer with RelU activation, overfitting is reduced by a dropout layer, and class prediction is accomplished by a final dense layer with softmax activation. The model's resilience is further increased using thorough data preparation, and augmentation approaches from the PlantVillage and Kaggle Apple leaf disease datasets. A comprehensive comparison is made between ApplediseaseNet-B7's performance and other well-known models, including denseNet121, ResNet50, and AlexNet. The analysis shows that ApplediseaseNet-B7 regularly performs better than comparable models in terms of accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score, among other criteria. This comparison demonstrates how well ApplediseaseNet-B7 performs in classifying apple leaf diseases, providing a reliable and effective method for managing and detecting agricultural diseases. The study emphasizes how crucial sophisticated model selection is to enhancing crop health monitoring and disease control. © 2024 IEEE.

This study describes an innovative approach to blockchain-based voting systems. The proposed method guarantees the integrity, security, and resistance to manipulation of elections conducted on a decentralized network through the utilization of smart contracts and cryptographic principles. Emphasizing participant confidentiality, vote integrity, and real-time auditability, the experimental outcomes demonstrate the system's scalability, dependability, and security. Within the domain of theoretical democratic discourse, presents a prospective scenario in which voting methods based on blockchain technology. The results indicate that the approach can be easily implemented on a large scale, representing a significant milestone in the struggle for democratic, secure, and transparent voting procedures. With highly efficient, boasting a transaction speed of 500 TPS, scalability to accommodate over a thousand users, and a block confirmation time of less than 10s. Encryption efficiency and digital signature dependability are indicators of the system's high level of security. Equipped with an accuracy rate that is 97.2%. © 2024 IEEE.

The development and optimisation of energy-efficient communication protocols that are specifically adapted for Internet of Things (IoT) devices is the focus of this research. The proliferation of interoperable bias has given rise to the converse girding energy consumption, which has come a consummate concern in the contemporary period. daylighting plays an important role in decreasing power usage in office buildings and enhancing indoor environments. Reducing the use of energy and producing energy from renewable sources will result in lower greenhouse gas emissions. daylighting is a method of providing light indoors through the use of windows, solar panels, optical fibers, parabolic mirrors and other forms of daylight technologies. The proposed fiber optic daylighting system will illuminate the light uniformly in interior space. Parabolic mirror and Frensnel lens are two different efficient approaches available for fiber-based day lighting system. Captured light is passed via concentrator, fiber and lenses. Uniform lighting at the capture point eliminates the heat problem when incorporating optical plastic fiber is critical in making the device cost-effective. Collimated light increases device performance helping to inject full light into the optical fibres. From simulation setup will verify that uniform intensity of light will be illuminated to different regions of buildings by the fiber optic bundle. Collimated lighting and reduction of shadows caused by mechanical parts and the convex reflector will enhances the system’s efficiency. Uniform illumination will be given at all time by using hybrid system. Using solar day lighting in homes and offices via optical fibre cables is a potential way to reduce the energy used for artificial lighting while also improving visual comfort and human health. Analysis and discussion have been conducted on the impact of optical fibre diameter on the brightness and homogeneity of light. Habesha women's dress is cultural clothing in most areas of Ethiopia, which is common in the Amhara region. Although the embroidery design of the Habesha women's dress appears to be the same, it has a different texture, shape, and color. This embroidery design belongs to the Awi, BahirdarZege, Sekota, SemenShewa, RayaKobo, lalibela, Wollo, Gojjam, and Gondar Habesha women's dress cultures dressing styles. However, as fashion design on clothing grows, the cultural identity of the embroidery design is lost. There is a lot of research on clothing patterns and color detection, recognition, and classification. However, it is challenging to classify clothes with the same patterns, texture, and color into various classes due to the problem of uncontrolled environment, segmentation of ROI, color space, and feature extraction of the embroidery design of Habesha women's dress. The main aim of this study was to use an ensemble feature extraction approach to identify those patterns. We have collected 8100 Habesha women's dress embroidery images from different particular embroidery designer for different cultural clothe dress. We have classified those images into nine classes which contain 900 images per class. Then, we applied pre-processing to the labeled images. Also, we have done feature extraction with CNN, SGAN, and GlCM For classification. Each model uses SVM as a linear kernel. Finally, we have developed different ensembled models such as CNN + GlCM (accuracy: 95.80%), SGAN + GlCM (accuracy: 97.84%), CNN + SGAN (accuracy: 97.96%), and SGAN + GlCM + CNN (accuracy: 98.52%) with PCA. So, based on the model's accuracy, an ensemble of SGAN + GlCM + CNN with the SVM classifier has been selected. © 2023 IEEE.

The research work provides a brand-new technique for distributing bandwidth in wireless networks that is also energy-efficient. To begin, look into how channel allocations, which ultimately determine the transmission rate for mobile terminals, affect the fundamental relationship that exists between energy use and transmission rates. The Fatality Selection Algorithm (FSA) and the Receiver Selection Algorithm (RSA) are two methodologies that control connection admittance to reduce the amount of energy used by each individual terminal. Furthermore, provide a corrective strategy for statistically satisfying the quality of service (QoS) criteria throughout the resource allocation process. Throughput, call blockage probability, and the energy consumption rate of each successfully sent bit are used to evaluate the efficiency of the recommended solutions. An extensive investigation into analysis and simulation is carried out in the case of Poisson and self-similar. © 2023 IEEE.
