Normal distribution interval numbers-based multiple attribute decision-making with unknown attribute weights

With the rapid development of the society, decision-making methods with single attribute are becoming increasingly difficult to satisfy the needs of practical problems. And in real life, it is usually only possible to obtain the range of attribute values because of the measurement error or the complexity and uncertainty of objective things, that is, the interval number values of decision information are easily obtainable. Interval number multi-attribute decision-making problems have gradually become a research hotspot for scholars. However, most current studies have not discussed the distribution on interval numbers, resulting in partial loss of decision information. Therefore, this paper considers the case of normal distribution interval numbers (NDINs) and proposes a multi-attribute decision-making method based on symmetric relative entropy with completely unknown attribute weights. Firstly, based on the idea of maximal deviation, a model for determining attribute weights is established by the symmetric relative entropy of NDINs. Secondly, the possibility degree formula for comparison between two NDINs is used to determine the positive ideal solution (PIS) and negative ideal solution (NIS) under each attribute. Thirdly, the total closeness degree between each scheme and the ideal point is calculated using the TOPSIS method and symmetric relative entropy. Then, the ranking of schemes is obtained based on the total closeness degree. Finally, a numerical example is offered to prove the feasibility and validity of the proposed method. © 2025 – IOS Press. The large array of imaging atmospheric Cherenkov telescopes(LACT)is a planned array of 32 Cherenkov telescopes,each featuring 6-m diameter mirrors,to be constructed at the LHAASO *** study focused on optimizing the array layout and analyzing the performance of *** observation modes were examined:large zenith angle observations for ultra-high energy events and small zenith angle observations for lower energy *** large zenith angles(60°),simulations indicate that an 8-telescope subarray can achieve an effective area of 3km^(2)with excellent angular *** small zenith angles,we optimized the layout of 4-telescope cells and the full 32-telescope *** energy threshold of the full array is approximately 200 GeV,which is particularly crucial for studying transient phenomena such as gamma-ray bursts(GRBs)and active galactic nuclei(AGNs).This study provides essential guidance for finalizing the LACT layout design and estimating performance under various observational *** also highlights the potential of LACT for conducting deep observations of ultra-high energyγ-ray sources,performing morphological studies of PeVatrons,and advancing time-domainγ-ray astronomy.

Catalytic performance of Pd catalyst supported on CeO_(2) or ZrO_(2) modified beta zeolite for methane oxidation

Two kinds of oxide-zeolite composite support,Ce-beta and Zr-beta were prepared by a simple wet impregnation method and adopted for the preparation of palladium-based catalysts for catalytic oxidation of *** Pd/6.8Zr-beta catalyst showed superiormethane oxidation performance,achieving T_(50) and T90 of 417℃ and 451℃,respectively,together with robust hydrothermal *** analysis has shown that incorporating Zr into the catalyst significantly enhanced its efficiency,nearly tripling the turnover frequency(TOF)for methane combustion compared to the Pd/beta *** enhanced performance was attributed to the dispersion of Zr on the zeolite surface,which not only promoted the formation of active PdO sites but also helped maintain the high Pd^(2+)content via facilitating the oxygen migration during the reaction,thus improving both the catalyst’s activity and *** the Pd/8.6Ce-beta catalyst,doped CeO_(2) tended to aggregate in the zeolite’s pores,adversely affecting the catalyst’s *** aggregation promoted the formation of inactive Pd^(4+) species,a result of the enhanced metal-support *** finding is critical for understanding the implications of dopant selection in the design of high-activity methane oxidation catalysts.

With the advancement of deception jamming and multi-radar cooperative anti-jamming technologies, multi-radar systems designed to counter multiple jammers have become a research hotspot, with jamming recognition being a critical step. In recent years, deep learning has been successfully applied to radar jamming recognition, where the jamming signal is transformed into a time-frequency map and subsequently treated as an image recognition problem. However, the performance of jamming recognition algorithms deteriorates significantly when multiple jamming signals overlap in the time-frequency domain. To address this issue, this paper proposes a distributed radar multi-jamming recognition method based on a Transformer network. This method employs adaptive beamforming to separate jamming echoes in the spatial domain, and then converts the jamming echoes from each radar node into time-frequency spectrograms using the short-time Fourier transform. These spectrograms are then input into the Transformer network to detect the type of jamming and estimate jamming parameters based on their relative positions in the time-frequency spectrograms. Finally, the multi-node processing results are fused to output the jamming type and the corresponding fused jamming parameters. Simulation experiments verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. © 2024 IEEE.

To efficiently diminish the Pt consumption while concurrently enhancing the anodic reaction kinetics,a straightforward synthesis for PtPdAg nanotrees(NTs)with exceedingly low Pt content is presented,utilizing the galvanic replacement reaction between the initially prepared PdAg NTs and Pt *** to the multilevel porous tree-like structure and the incorporation of low amounts of Pt,the electrocatalytic activity and stability of PtPdAg NTs are markedly enhanced,achieving 1.65 and 1.69 A·mg^(-1)Pt+Pd for the anodic reactions of formic acid oxidation(FAOR)and methanol oxidation(MOR)within DLFCs,surpassing the performance of PdAg NTs,as well as that of commercial Pt and Pd *** functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal that the addition of low amounts of Pt leads to an increase in the d-band center of PtPdAg NTs and lower the COads adsorption energy to-1.23 eV,enhancing the anti-CO toxicity properties *** approach offers an effective means for designing low Pt catalysts as exceptional anodic electrocatalysts for direct liquid fuel cells.

Positron annihilation study of defect formation and evolution in matrix graphite under He ion irradiation

The stability of matrix graphite under neutron irradiation and in corrosive environments is crucial for the safe operation of molten salt reactors(MSRs).Raman spectroscopy and a slow positron beam were employed to investigate the effects of He ion irradiation fluences and subsequent annealing on the microstructure and defects of the matrix *** ions with 500 keV energy and fluences ranging from 1.1×10^(15)ions∕cm^(2)to 3.5×10^(17)ions∕cm^(2)were used to simulate neutron irradiation at 300 *** samples with an irradiation fluence of 3.5×10^(16)ions∕cm^(2)were subjected to isochronal annealing at different temperatures(573 K,873 K and 1173 K)for 3 *** Raman results revealed that the D peak gradually increased,whereas the intrinsic G peak decreased with increasing irradiation *** the same irradiation fluence,the D peak gradually decreased,whereas the intrinsic G peak increased with increasing annealing *** positron beam analysis demonstrated that the density or size of irradiation defects(vacancy type)increased with higher irradiation fluence,but decreased rapidly with increasing annealing *** Raman spectral analysis of sample cross sections subjected to high irradiation fluences revealed the emergence of amorphization precisely at the depth where ion damage was most pronounced,whereas the surface retained its crystalline *** and positron annihilation analyses indicated that the matrix graphite exhibited good irradiation resistance to He ions at 300 ***,vacancy-type defects induced by He ion irradiation exhibit poor thermal stability and can be easily removed during annealing.

DIA-based quantitative proteomic analysis on porcine meat quality at different chilling rates

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of chilling rate on porcine meat quality from the perspective of proteome using data independent acquisition(DIA)-based quantitative proteomic strategy. M. longissimus thoracis et lumborum(n = 9) was assigned randomly to the control group(3.72 ℃/h), very fast chilling-Ⅰ group(VFC-Ⅰ, 9.31℃/h) and VFC-Ⅱ group(14.43 ℃/h). The DIA was used to analyze the difference in proteins under different chilling rates. Results showed that tenderness was improved significantly in meat at the chilling rate of 14.43 ℃/h. Seventy-nine differential abundant proteins(fold change > 1.5, P < 0.05), including 46 up-regulated and 33 down-regulated proteins, were identified and mainly involved in carbon metabolism, pyruvate metabolism and proteasome pathways. These pathways indicated that VFC delayed cell metabolism and glycolysis by down-regulating the expression of metabolic enzymes. The tenderness was improved by up-regulating the expression of proteasome and m-calpain.

Impacts of backwashing on micropollutant removal and associated microbial assembly processes in sand filters

Backwashing is crucial for preventing clogging of sand ***,few studies have investigated the effect of backwashing on micropollutant removal and the dynamic changes in the microbial community in sand ***,we used a series of manganese and quartz sand filters under empty bed contact times(EBCTs)of 2 h and 4 h to explore variations in micropollutant degradation and temporal dynamics of the microbial community after *** results showed that the removal efficiencies of caffeine,sulfamethoxazole,sulfadiazine,trimethoprim,atrazine,and active biomass recovered within 2 d after backwashing in both types of sand filters at 2-h EBCT,but the recovery of sulfadiazine and trimethoprim was not observed at 4-h ***,the removal efficiency of atenolol increased after backwashing in the manganese sand filters,whereas maintained almost complete removal efficiency in the quartz sand filters at both *** correlation analysis indicated that microbial community composition gradually recovered to the pre-backwashing level(R increased from 0.53 to 0.97)at 2-h EBCT,but shifted at 4-h EBCT(R<0.25)after ***,the compositions of the recovered,depleted,and improved groups of microbes were distinguished by applying hierarchical clustering to the differentially abundant amplicon sequence *** cumulative relative abundance of recovered microbes at 2-h EBCT was 82.76%±0.43%and 46.82%±4.34%in the manganese and quartz sand filters,*** contrast,at 4-h EBCT,the recovered microbes dropped to 15.55%–25.69%in both types of sand filters.

Removal of pharmaceutical in a biogenic/chemical manganese oxide system driven by manganese-oxidizing bacteria with humic acids as sole carbon source

Bioaugmented sand filtration has attracted considerable attention because it can effectively remove contaminants in drinking water without additional chemical reagent *** this study,a synthesized chemical manganese dioxide (MnO_(2)) -coated quartz sand(MnQS) and biogenic manganese oxide (BioMnOx) composite system was proposed to simultaneously remove typical pharmaceutical contaminants and Mn_(2)+.We demonstrated a manganese-oxidizing bacterium,Pseudomonas ***-1,could oxidize Mn_(2)+to generate BioMnOxusing humic acids (HA) as sole carbon *** coaction of MnQS,QJX-1,and the generated BioMnOxin simultaneously removing caffeine and Mn_(2)+in the presence of HA was *** found a synergistic effect between *** and BioMnOxtogether significantly increased the caffeine removal efficiency from 32.8%(MnQS alone) and 21.5%(BioMnOxalone) to 61.2%.Meanwhile,Mn_(2)+leaked from MnQS was rapidly oxidized by QJX-1 to regenerate reactive BioMnOx,which was beneficial for continuous contaminant removal and system *** degradation intermediates of caffeine oxidized by MnQS and BioMnOxwere detected by LC-QTOF-MS analysis,which implied that caffeine was oxidized by a different ***,this work promotes the potential application of bioaugmented sand filtration in pharmaceutical removal in the presence of natural organic matter in drinking water.
