MaritimeDS: a data service framework for unsupervised maritime traffic monitoring based on trajectory big data

The large maritime traffic volume and its great impact on economy, environment and security make an unsupervised maritime traffic monitoring system in great need. Most of the current related research focuses on intelligent analysis or trajectory mining algorithms, while ignoring how to make good use of domain knowledge and model flexible software components, which leads to the related business functions implemented by IT staff through ad hoc coding. And what’s more, the lack of rich and detailed road information in the maritime transportation field makes it challenging to carry out diverse maritime monitoring business. This paper proposes a data service framework for unsupervised maritime traffic monitoring named MaritimeDS. The framework provides a unified domain model, in which the vessel trajectories are modeled through a layer-by-layer data model and maritime traffic structure is modeled as a spatial model. The highest layer is semantic trajectory, which is modeled based on the traffic structure generated through a novel T2I-CycleGAN model-based trajectory analysis service solving the problem of lacking paired training sets in maritime data. Case study and experiments show that compared with similar work, in the absence of detailed road information, IT staff can build maritime traffic structure, and carry out unified modeling and implementation of business functions related to traffic monitoring on this basis, which can improve development efficiency. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

A novel boron-containing monomer,(4-(3,4-dicyanophenoxy)phenyl)boronic acid(BPhPN)was synthesized and used to promote the curing process of phthalonitrile monomer 1,3-bis(3,4-dicyanophenoxy)benzene(MPN).Differential scanning calorimetry and rheological analysis were used to study the curing behaviors of BPhPN/MPN(namely B-MPN),and results suggested that B-MPN systems have better *** spectra and solid-state 13C-NMR exhibited triazine and isoindoline have been formed in the curing ***-containing Lewis acid curing mechanism was preliminarily speculated and verified by two model compounds with different boron chemical *** thermogravimetric analysis and dynamic mechanical analysis demonstrated that the cured B-MPN polymers showed excellent thermal stability and heat resistance,which were comparable with conventional catalytic systems for phthalonitrile *** study not only presented a novel curing system for phthalonitrile resins,but also shed light on future design of high temperature thermosets.

Design Optimization and analysis of Exit Rotor with Diffuser Passage based on Neural Network Surrogate Model and Entropy Generation Method

In this paper,a diffuser passage compressor design is introduced via optimization to improve the aerodynamic performance of the exit rotor in a multistage axial *** in-house design optimization platform,based on genetic algorithm and back propagation neural network surrogate model,is constructed to perform the *** optimization parameters include diffusion angle of meridian passage,diffusion length of meridian passage,change of blade camber angle and blade *** impacts of these design parameters on efficiency and stability improvement are analyzed based on the optimization *** optimized diffuser passage compressor designs are selected from the optimization solution set by comprehensively considering efficiency and stability of the rotor,and the influencing mechanisms on efficiency and stability are further *** simulation results show that the application of diffuser passage compressor design can improve the load coefficient by 12.1%and efficiency by 1.28%at the design mass flow rate condition,and the stall margin can be improved by 12.5%.According to the local entropy generation model analysis,despite the upper and lower endwall loss of the diffuser passage rotor are increased,the profile loss is reduced compared with the original *** efficiency of the diffuser passage rotor can be influenced by both loss and *** the near stall condition,decreasing flow blockage at blade root region can improve the stall margin of the diffuser passage rotor.

Knocking-Out OsPDR7 Triggers Up-Regulation of OsZIP9 Expression and Enhances Zinc Accumulation in Rice

Zinc(Zn) is an essential trace mineral that is required for plant growth and development. A number of protein transporters, which are involved in Zn uptake, translocation and distribution, are finely regulated to maintain Zn homeostasis in plant. In this study, we functionally characterized an ATP-binding cassette(ABC) transporter gene, OsPDR7, which is involved in Zn homeostasis. Os PDR7 encodes a plasma membrane-localized protein that is expressed mainly in the exodermis and xylem in the rice ***7 mutants resulted in higher Zn accumulation compared with the wild type. Heterogeneous expression of OsPDR7 in a yeast mutant rescued the Zn-deficiency phenotype, implying transport activity of OsPDR7 to Zn in yeast. However, no ZIP genes except for OsZIP9 showed change in expression profile in the ospdr7 mutants, which suggested that OsPDR7 maintains cellular Zn homeostasis through regulating Os ZIP9 expression. RNA-Seq analysis further revealed a set of differentially expressed genes between the wild type and ospdr7 mutants that allowed us to propose a possible OsPDR7-associated signaling network involving transporters, hormone responsive genes, and transcription factors. Our results revealed a novel transporter involved in the regulation of Zn homeostasis and will pave the way toward a better understanding of the fine-tuning of gene expression in the network of transporter genes.

The Influence of Different Solar System Planetary Ephemerides on Pulsar Timing

Pulsar timing offers a comprehensive avenue for exploring diverse topics in physics and *** solar system planetary ephemeris is crucial for pulsar timing as it provides the positions and velocities of solar system planets including the ***,it is inevitable that inherent inconsistencies exist in these *** between various ephemerides can significantly impact pulsar timing and parameter ***,pulsar timing highly depends on the JPL DE ephemeris,for instance,the Pulsar Timing Array data analysis predominantly utilizes *** this study,we examine inconsistencies across various ephemeris series,including JPL DE,EPM,and ***,discrepancies emerge particularly between the current ephemeris DE436 and the earliest released ephemeris DE200,as well as the most recent ephemerides,e.g.,DE440,INPOP21A,and *** detailed analysis of the effects of ephemeris on geometric correction procedures for the conversion of measured topocentric times of arrival is presented in this *** researches reveal that variations in the Roemer delays across different ephemerides lead to distinct *** timing residuals and the fact that these discrepancies can be readily incorporated into the subsequent pulsar parameters,leading to inconsistent fitting estimates,suggest that the influence of errors in the ephemeris on the timing process might currently be underappreciated.

Binary code analysis serves as the foundation for research in vulnerability discovery, software protection, and malicious code analysis. However, analyzing binary files is challenging due to the lack of high-level semantic information, leading to heavy dependence on analysts’ expertise and significantly impacting the efficiency of binary code analysis. Recent years has witnessed the blossom of machine learning models for binary analysis, but few researches address the problem of binary code datasets. In this paper, we review all the existing and available datasets, and make classification according to their application. We set up experiments to illustrate how dataset quality could affect the performance of machine learning models in binary function recognition. Based on the experimental evaluation, we present a discussion on the ground truth as well as quality evaluation problems for binary code datasets. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.
