Smart home technology has gained more and more attention in recent years as a part of internet of things, by making living environments smarter. The technology consists of deploying different sensors and actuators and making devices intelligent inside homes. Unfortunately, the heterogeneity of devices makes sharing and reusing the collected data difficult, while the complex relation among the user, device, location, and observation within the smart home has emerged new challenges in device search. Firstly, we proposed an ontology-based smart home domain model (SHOM), secondly, we proposed a device search framework in the smart home (DSF-SH), in which rule-based reasoning, ontology-based query expansion, and Tongyici Cilin-based query expansion are combined in order to overcome the limitation of keyword-based search technique, interpret the meaning of user's queries and help upper applications find available devices by working as a middleware. Finally, a prototype is developed to demonstrate the feasibility of the DSF-SHe The results show that it significantly increases the recall, the precision, and the F-score as compare to the keyword-based search technique.

Disassembling is a necessary step for vulnerability mining or deep understanding of the operating mechanism of firmware. When disassembling firmware, the image base of the firmware need to be determined first, but the image base usually cannot be obtained directly. Given the widespread use of ARM processors in embedded systems, a method is proposed to determine the range of the firmware image base by targeting ARM firmware. First, the addresses loaded by the LDR instruction in the firmware are obtained, and then these addresses are deduplicated, sorted, and segmented to calculate the cumulative frequency. Then, the rapidly rising segment in the cumulative frequency curve is considered as the range of image base. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can effectively determine the range of image base for firmware that uses LDR instruction to load address. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2023.

The shield machine (SM) is a complex mechanical device used for tunneling. However, the monitoring and deciding were mainly done by artificial experience during traditional construction, which brought some limitations, such as hidden mechanical failures, human operator error, and sensor anomalies. To deal with these challenges, many scholars have studied SM intelligent methods. Most of these methods only take SM into account but do not consider the SM operating environment. So, this paper discussed the relationship among SM, geological information, and control terminals. Then, according to the relationship, models were established for the control terminal tasks, including SM rate prediction and SM anomaly detection. The experimental results show that compared with baseline models, the proposed model in this paper perform better. In the proposed model, the R2 and MSE of rate prediction can reach 92.2%, and 0.0064 respectively. The abnormal data detection rate of the anomaly detection task is up to 98.2%. Along with the rapid development of Internet and cyber techniques, the Internet of People (IoP) has been emerging as a novel paradigm which establishes ubiquitous connections between social space and cyberspace. Unlike the Internet of Things (IoT), human nodes in IoP are not only terminal users, but also significant participants bonded with tighter relationships. Note that IoP has deeply influenced our lives. For example, the prosperity of social media enables us to build and maintain new relationships without considering physical boundaries. In this paper, we give a comprehensive overview of IoP by comparing it with IoT, introduce its enabling techniques from aspects of sensing, communication and application. In addition, we summarize and compare popular IoP-enabled platforms according to different functions, and finally envision open issues needed to be further discussed in IoP. It provides constructive suggestions, lays solid foundations, and makes a basic blueprint for the future development of IoP paradigm. Copyright © 2021, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The proposal of Six Degrees of Separation makes people realize that the world is not as big as we imagined. Even if the world’s population now exceeds 7 billion, two strangers can still get in touch through a limited intermediary. When online social networks have taken the world by storm, can people connect through shorter distances? This issue is worth thinking about. This paper describes Six Degrees of Separation and the limitations of this theory in practical applications. Combined with online social networks, the paper analyzes the development and change of the degrees of connection between people. Finally, the paper considers the actual coverage of online social networks and other issues, and rationalizes the possible degrees of the future Six Degrees of Separation. A review on serious games for disaster relief

Human beings have been affected by disasters from the beginning of life, bringing them many sad memories. In the long struggle against disaster, people have devised a variety of methods to train relevant participants in disaster relief capabilities. However, many traditional training methods, such as disaster exercises may not provide effective training to meet the need of today. Serious games provide an innovative approach to train participants in disaster relief, and a large number of Serious Games for Disaster Relief (SGDRs) have been developed to train disaster planning and rescue capabilities. At the same time, there is no systematics phase description for disaster relief, which cannot effectively guide participants' work and training in disaster relief. Therefore, this paper proposes a comprehensive and professional disaster relief classification framework according to different relief work in each stage of the disaster. Based on this framework, we review the functions and technologies of serious games in each classification, which can offer reliable guidance for researchers to better understand and use SGDRs. In addition, we analyze the serious games in each category, point out the limitations, and provide some valuable advice for developers on game design. Copyright © 2022, The Authors. The sole use of single modality data often fails to capture the complex heterogeneity among patients,including the variability in resistance to anti-HER2 therapy and outcomes of combined treatment regimens,for the treatment of HER2-positive gastric cancer(GC).This modality deficit has not been fully considered in many ***,the application of artificial intelligence in predicting the treatment response,particularly in complex diseases such as GC,is still in its ***,this study aimed to use a comprehensive analytic approach to accurately predict treatment responses to anti-HER2 therapy or anti-HER2 combined immunotherapy in patients with HER2-positive *** collected multi-modal data,comprising radiology,pathology,and clinical information from a cohort of 429 patients:310 treated with anti-HER2 therapy and 119 treated with a combination of anti-HER2 and anti-PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors *** introduced a deep learning model,called the Multi-Modal model(MuMo),that integrates these data to make precise treatment response *** achieved an area under the curve score of 0.821 for anti-HER2 therapy and 0.914 for combined ***,patients classified as low-risk by MuMo exhibited significantly prolonged progression-free survival and overall survival(log-rank test,P<0.05).These findings not only highlight the significance of multi-modal data analysis in enhancing treatment evaluation and personalized medicine for HER2-positive gastric cancer,but also the potential and clinical value of our model.

Digital identity is one of the key elements to build a trust system in the digital economy era. Digital identity has empowered social governance and public services in the new era in many fields, and promoted the rapid development of digital economy. In this paper, a trusted digital identity based on identification code and trusted account blockchain fusion is proposed. Through the unified standard, unified coding identifier, combined with identity-based cryptographic algorithm and blockchain, identification code and trusted account blockchain fusion is realized, and a real, effective, safe and credible digital identity technology system is constructed. Trusted digital identity is a bridge connecting the virtual world and the physical world. It plays a strong supporting role in realizing the identity fusion and ‘digital twin’ of the physical world offline and the virtual world. It is the core element of the construction of new smart cities and the development of digital economy.
