In this paper, a class of two-step continuity Runge-Kutta(TSCRK) methods for solving singular delay differential equations(DDEs) is presented. Analysis of numerical stability of this methods is given. We consider the two distinct cases: (i)τ≥ h, (ii)τ 〈 h, where the delay τ and step size h of the two-step continuity Runge-Kutta methods are both constant. The absolute stability regions of some methods are plotted and numerical examples show the efficiency of the method.

A class of parallel Rosenbrock methods for differential algebraic equations are presented in this paper. The local truncation errors are defined and the order conditions are established by using the DA-trees and DA-series. The paper also deals with the convergence of the parallel Rosenbrock methods for h -> 0 and states the bounds for the global errors of the methods. Some particular methods are obtained by solving the order equations and a numerical example is given, from which the theoretical orders are actually observed.

Recent calculations indicate that a diverse range of critical equilibria are manifested by ternary fluid mixtures. A critical transition is frequently detected between two distinct two-phase regions of equilibria. That is, instead of two phases changing to one homogeneous phase, the critical transition results in the emergence of a different type of equilibria involving another two phases. Different types of transitions are observed depending on whether ps-liquid or lower or upper critical solution equilibria are involved. It is conceivable that some of the reported tricritical equilibria of ternary mixtures or quasi-binary fluids are instead a manifestation of one of these transitions.

The critical properties of binary mixtures containing hydrogen + argon, nitrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, methane, and ethane are calculated and compared with experimental data. The properties of these mixtures are likely to be influenced by the quantization of translational motion at high densities. It is shown that the addition of a theoretically based quantum correction term to the equation of state can dramatically improve the quality of the agreement between theory and experiment. Even the simple van der Waals equation can then be used to calculate the critical properties of these mixtures with a reasonable degree of accuracy. The only additional experimental input data are the molecular weights of the constituent components. The experimental xi(12) parameters obtained from the analysis indicate weak interaction between the different component molecules of the mixture.

Opinion targets extraction of Chinese microblogs plays an important role in opinion mining. There has been a significant progress in this area recently, especially the method based on conditional random field (CRF). However, this method only takes lexicon-related features into consideration and does not excavate the implied syntactic and semantic knowledge. We propose a novel approach which incorporates domain lexicon with groups of syntactical and semantic features. The approach acquires domain lexicon through a novel way which explores syntactic and semantic information through Part- of-Speech, dependency structure, phrase structure, semantic role and semantic similarity based on word embedding. And then we combine the domain lexicon with opinion targets extracted from CRF with groups of features for opinion targets extraction. Experimental results on COAE2014 dataset show the outperformance of the approach compared with other well-known methods on the task of opinion targets extraction.
