green technology innovation guiding policies under the synergy of government and financial institutions

Guiding enterprises towards green technology innovation (GTI) is a pivotal strategy for mitigating pollution and energy wastage, thereby facilitating the transition towards a green and low-carbon economy. In order to solve the single irrationality of the existing guidance policy and improve its implementation effect, parameters of environmental regulation and green credit policy are hereby introduced to construct a tripartite evolutionary game model of the government, financial institutions, and enterprises. The evolutionary stability of the government and financial institutions in guiding enterprises' GTI is analyzed. Simulation analysis method is used to visualize the evolution path of the game system under different policy options. The study results show that increasing interest rate subsidies can promote the financial institutions and the government to formulate GTI guidance policies. Besides, there is a significant synergistic effect between interest rate subsidies and green credits, which can efficiently foster GTI within enterprises and decrease their innovation costs. Building on this foundation, further increasing the carbon tax rate can lead to a reduction in government subsidy expenditures, improve the evolution rate of the ideal strategy, and expedite the realization of a green, low-carbon transformation. © 2024

The existing methods of operating express/local mode require additional railway lines. However, renovation projects of existing lines are often limited by engineering technology and funding. Meanwhile, tidal passenger flow in rush hour is obvious. To sum up, this paper proposes a method of operating express/local mode under existing railway lines and unidirectional tidal passenger flow. This method sets that all trains in the same direction of unidirectional tidal passenger flow are express trains, and all trains in the opposite direction of unidirectional tidal passenger flow are local trains. After simulation, this method has been proven to effectively reduce total passenger travel time in specific scenarios, providing references for subsequent research and engineering applications. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

A digital economy development index based on an improved hierarchical data envelopment analysis approach

The digital economy is playing an increasingly important role in the global economy. National and international organizations commonly utilize a composite index composed of multi-dimensional indicators to monitor performance, analyse policies, and communicate in the digital economy. This study introduces a hierarchical framework for constructing a Digital Economy development Index (DEDI). One of the key challenges is determining the attribute weights to be assigned by aggregating the sub-indicators with hierarchical dimensions for DEDI. The current study shows that an H-DEA model can be transformed into a parametric linear programming problem and develops an improved golden section algorithm to search for approximate optimal solutions. The newly developed method is highly robust and provides an alternative procedure to determine the optimal weights for building a DEDI. We established a hierarchical evaluation framework and utilized a new approach to measure the DEDI of 30 provinces in China from 2015 to 2020. The results show that inter-provincial digital economy development in China shows a sequential weakening from the east, centre, and northeast to the west. The East leads the country's digital economy overall, while there is a clear gradient gap between provinces. The central region needs to create a cluster for the development of digital industries. The Northeast should enhance the competitiveness of the industry across the board. The West must strengthen the construction of innovative talent and new infrastructure for the digital economy. These findings can serve as guidelines for designing China's ongoing digital economy development. © 2024 Elsevier B.V.

In this study, we firstly combine data usability with data usability and summary the framework of scientometrics research from the perspective of data usability which includes main research fields, data sources, methods, and software. We select 1539 papers published in Scientometrics to summary the research content of scientometrics based on paper analysis, and then, develop the measurement scales based on the general process of research which consist of type of application, data source and structure, data quality, users' skill requirements, and software usage which can provide reference researchers to evaluate the difficulty of research, and also can be used to measure the value of manuscripts for editors and reviewers of scientific journals. © 2023 SPIE.

With the gradual improvement of urbanization in China, it is important to research city branding to promote high-quality urban development. This paper uses CSSCI journals(including the expanded edition) in CNKI as the data source to collect the papers related to city branding from 2001-2022, analyzes the research content of city branding based on the bibliometric method, and accordingly proposes strategies for city branding in beijing. The analysis result shows that the research on city branding involves a wide range of content, mainly including city branding, place marketing, and multilayer brand strategy. based on this, we propose strategic suggestions for city branding for beijing: exploring the characteristics of city resources and enhancing the cultural connotation;building a multilayer brand strategy to promote regional development;expanding multi-channel marketing to highlight the differentiation of city brand.

big data is becoming the new engine of the economic and social development in the future. It has caused the concern worldwide being an important production factors besides the material assets and human capital. Numerous research achievements related to big data have been coming forth making it the hotspot. By the advanced search in the CNKI database, 4147 papers are got. By adopting the literature metrology and social network analysis method, the paper analyzed the research subjects, hotspot and topics, small-world property of the researchers' social network. The result shows that: Firstly, the core research subject is being formed and there is an obvious small-world characteristic in the researchers' social network. Secondly the three core research topics are big data analysis, data mining and cloud computing. Besides there are many other research perspectives showing a flourishing trend. © 2021 IEEE.

Climate change and sustainable development are two crucial drivers of transformation within economic development models. In turn, carbon emission reduction and the circular economy are two key engines pushing forward climate change and sustainable development programs, but the question remains, do they synergize with one another, or work against each other? This study approaches this question from both theoretical and practical perspectives. Utilizing a framework that combines theory and practice, bibliometric analysis and big data analysis of text were used to analyze the Web of Science database and 2.29GB of data taken from cases in China, to understand what synergies exist between carbon emission reduction and the circular economy. The study reveals that the predominant interaction between the circular economy and carbon emission reduction is synergistic, with few offsetting effects. In other words, the circular economy significantly promotes carbon emissions reduction. At the theoretical level, the two fields are gradually evolving toward in-depth research, while at the practical level, collaboration is coalescing around four areas: hot fields, potential fields, auxiliary fields and common goals. A noteworthy contribution of this study is the development of a framework that synergizes theory and practice, providing a structured approach for future research in this domain. By quantifying the synergistic and offsetting relationship between the circular economy and carbon emissions reduction through systematic big data analysis, this research offers insights essential for achieving the UN’s Sustainable development Goals. We also emphasize the importance of diverse case studies and multi-dimensional data analyses in future research endeavors. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

General Two-Stage Network Systems based on Stackelberg Game

Noncooperative approach is a key technique for modeling network systems. In general, there are two types of noncooperative network models in the literature. One is the bilevel model based on Stackelberg game, which is often transformed into a parametric linear program. The other is the leader-follower model, which uses only Stackelberg game concept, which may yield an infeasible solution. The current study shows that the bilevel model can be solved by using two linear models, without having to resort to solving heuristic parametric linear models. Furthermore, the global optimal solution is guaranteed for the nonlinear bilevel model. We prove the equivalence between the bilevel technique and our two linear-model approach. We further improve the existing leader-follower models, and as well the newly developed approaches are extended to general two-stage structures. The newly developed approaches are illustrated with a numerical data set and a real-world case. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

[Purpose] The paper aims to identify the impact factors of brand diffusion via social media. It provides a theoretical reference for enterprises to choose social media and improves brand influence. [Method] First, we summarize the general path of brand diffusion through social media by studying the relevant literatures. Next, four popular social media WeChat, Weibo, Tiktok, and Taobao have been selected as research samples to analyze the different brand diffusion paths. Finally, we summarize the impact of brand diffusion on social media according to the paths. [Results] The result shows that the main factors influencing brand diffusion on social media are diffusion content, information credibility, audience participation, and diffusion path. © The Authors, published by EDP Sciences, 2020.

This paper aims to compare the similarities and differences of Chinese and foreign research on social media. Cluster analysis, co-word analysis and social network analysis have been used to compare the research trends, content relevance and network structure of research on social media. (1) Similarities: Social media is a hot topic for scholars both in China and foreign countries;the development of social network technology leads to many new areas;social media research tends to study privacy, commerciality and service;hotspots of social media research in China and foreign countries both include social media, platform and social network. (2) Difference: Chinese research mainly focuses on big data, Wechat and Weibo, while foreign research mainly focuses on Facebook, Twitter and other kinds of social network media;Chinese research is clustered while foreign research is extensive;Chinese research pays more attention on macroscopic perspectives, such as media convergence, big data and libraries;foreign research tends to microcosmic perspectives, such as emotional analysis, crisis information dissemination, social media marketing. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
