User scheduling in mmWave multi-user multiple-input multiple output (MU-MIMO) systems involves the joint optimization of user selection and beam pair selection due to its hybrid beamforming architecture. Most of the existing solutions are based on ideal channel state information (CSI). How to choose the users to be scheduled and their beams for operation in the case of non-ideal CSI is still challenging. In this study, we propose a blind beam search assisted user scheduling (BSUS) algorithm operating in the absence of ideal CSI. The proposed method consists of two steps. In the first step, the beam information acquired in the initial beam training is used to identify the channels' orthogonality and classify the users into groups. In the second step, a scheduled user is chosen from each group to maximize the equivalent channel energy. Subsequently, the selection of beam pairs for communication is simplified owing to the information acquired in initial beam training. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can achieve 93.6% of the maximal sum rate, and maintain a low computational complexity.

The energy supply of sensor nodes is limited, and the sensor nodes near the sink node usually die out earlier than other nodes which causes the imbalance of energy consumption in wireless sensor network (WSN). In order to extend the network lifetime and balance the energy consumption, we present a new clustering algorithm called Energy-balanced Clustering Algorithm (EBCA) based on software-defined wireless sensor network (SDWSN). In our algorithm, the controller redefines the communication radius of each sensor node based on distance from sink node and the number of neighbor nodes, and gives a new clustering method based on the residual energy of itself and its neighbor node. The simulation results show that our algorithm has better performance on balancing energy consumption and extending network lifetime compared with the typical data transmission algorithm.

The Industrial Internet is a kind of infrastructure that is closely connected with people, industries, and network, and it can realize the low cost and high efficiency of intelligent production. Promoting the convergence of Information Technology (IT) and Operation Technology (OT) is the foundation to realize the Industrial Internet. However, IT and OT exist independently and cannot be unified all the time. How can they work together effectively? We describe the model of OPC Unified architecture (OPC UA) and Time-Sensitive networking (TSN) in this paper that will effectively solve the problem of IT and OT convergence. We also compare three TSN models, discuss which obstacles to IT and OT convergence will be addressed by OPC UA TSN in detail, and analyze the features of OPC UA TSN. It proves that OPC UA TSN will play an important role in the process of IT and OT convergence.

In order to have TSN worked in practical applications, it is urgent to study the configuration of TSN. Based on the standard of IEEE 802.1 Qcc, we propose a configuration scheme of OPC UA TSN, describe the functionality and procedure of the scheme in detail.
