Agent actions planning is a challenging problem in multi-agent reinforcement learning. Recent methods typically build their predictive models by full connection layers, but the shortage of utilizing action and observation information in complex multi-agent environment limits the performance of those methods. To address this issue, we propose a novel predictive model based on self-attention mechanism which can effectively use information in the environment. Specifically, we use the MADDPG algorithm to make a dataset where the input is the observations and actions and the output is the predicted observations and rewards. We also introduce the multi-head attention mechanism into the predictive model so that the predictive model can better combine different information for prediction. We perform extensive experiments to assess the proposed method and compare it with the representative baseline approach. Results demonstrate that our method outperforms competitors with higher accuracy in different tasks. Our implementation will be publicly available.

The Drosophila larva, a soft-body animal, can bend its body and roll efficiently to escape danger. However, contrary to common belief, this rolling motion is not driven by the imbalance of gravity and ground reaction forces. Through functional imaging and ablation experiments, we demonstrate that the sequential actuation of axial muscles within an appropriate range of angles is critical for generating rolling. We model the interplay between muscle contraction, hydrostatic skeleton deformation, and body-environment interactions, and systematically explain how sequential muscle actuation generates the rolling motion. Additionally, we construct a pneumatic soft robot to mimic the larval rolling strategy, successfully validating our model. This mechanics model of soft-body rolling motion not only advances the study of related neural circuits, but also holds potential for applications in soft robotics.

Currently, many studies use Fourier amplitude spectra of speech signals to predict depression levels. However, those works often treat Fourier amplitude spectra as images or sequences to capture depression cues using convolutional neural networks or multilayer perceptrons. Therefore, they ignore the complex element composition and time-frequency attributes of Fourier spectra, which is not conducive to capturing the differences among individuals with different depression levels. For this reason, we construct a Time-Frequency Self-Embedding (TFSE) module, which not only stores the correlation relationship among real (imaginary) parts of Fourier spectra of different subjects from the time-frequency perspective, but also maintain the physical properties of data through the weight embedding process. Besides, Global Average Pooling (GAP) or linear layers are difficult to balance both temporal and frequency dimensions in the vectorization process. Therefore, we construct a Time-Frequency Tensor Vectorization (TFTV) module, which summarizes each channel along time and frequency dimensions, and then generates the vectorization result by integrating various channels. In this way, we combine TFSE and TFTV modules to form our SpectrumFormer model for predicting depression levels. Evaluation indicators on AVEC 2013 and AVEC 2014 depression databases imply the progressiveness of our model. © 2010-2012 IEEE.

With the global climate change,the high-altitude detection is more and more important in the climate prediction,and the input-output characteristic curve of the air pressure sensor is offset due to the interference of the tested object and the environment under test,and the nonlinear error is *** at the difficulty of nonlinear correction of pressure sensor and the low accuracy of correction results,depth neural network model was established based on wavelet function,and Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm is used to update network parameters to realize the nonlinear correction of pressure *** experimental results show that compared with the traditional neural network model,the improved depth neural network not only accelerates the convergence rate,but also improves the correction accuracy,meets the error requirements of upper-air detection,and has a good generalization ability,which can be extended to the nonlinear correction of similar sensors.

Domain generalization for document authentication against practical recapturing attacks

Recapturing attack can be employed as a simple but effective anti-forensic tool for digital document images. Inspired by the document inspection process that compares a questioned document against a reference sample, we proposed a document recapture detection scheme by employing Siamese network to compare and extract distinct features in a recapture document image. The proposed algorithm takes advantages of both metric learning and image forensic techniques. Instead of adopting Euclidean distance-based loss function, we integrate the forensic similarity function with a triplet loss and a normalized softmax loss. After training with the proposed triplet selection strategy, the resulting feature embedding clusters the genuine samples near the reference while pushes the recaptured samples apart. In the experiment, we consider practical domain generalization problems, such as the variations in printing/imaging devices, substrates, recapturing channels, and document types. To evaluate the robustness of different approaches, we benchmark some popular off-the-shelf machine learning-based approaches, a state-of-the-art document image detection scheme, and the proposed schemes with different network backbones under various experimental protocols. Experimental results show that the proposed schemes with different network backbones have consistently outperformed the state-of-the-art approaches under different experimental settings. Specifically, under the most challenging scenario in our experiment, i.e., evaluation across different types of documents that produced by different devices, we have achieved less than 5.00% APCER (Attack Presentation Classification Error Rate) and 5.56% BPCER (Bona Fide Presentation Classification Error Rate) by the proposed network with ResNeXt101 backbone at 5% BPCER decision *** Codes 94A08 Copyright © 2021, The Authors. Deep learning-based forgery attack on document images

With the ongoing popularization of online services, the digital document images have been used in various applications. Meanwhile, there have emerged some deep learning-based text editing algorithms which alter the textual information of an image in an end-to-end fashion. In this work, we present a low-cost document forgery algorithm by the existing deep learning-based technologies to edit practical document images. To achieve this goal, the limitations of existing text editing algorithms towards complicated characters and complex background are addressed by a set of network design strategies. First, the unnecessary confusion in the supervision data is avoided by disentangling the textual and background information in the source images. Second, to capture the structure of some complicated components, the text skeleton is provided as auxiliary information and the continuity in texture is considered explicitly in the loss function. Third, the forgery traces induced by the text editing operation are mitigated by some post-processing operations which consider the distortions from the print-and-scan channel. Quantitative comparisons of the proposed method and the exiting approach have shown the advantages of our design by reducing the about 2/3 reconstruction error measured in MSE, improving reconstruction quality measured in PSNR and in SSIM by 4 dB and 0.21, respectively. Qualitative experiments have confirmed that the reconstruction results of the proposed method are visually better than the existing approach in both complicated characters and complex texture. More importantly, we have demonstrated the performance of the proposed document forgery algorithm under a practical scenario where an attacker is able to alter the textual information in an identity document using only one sample in the target domain. In community-based software development, developers frequently rely on live-chatting to discuss emergent bugs/errors they encounter in daily development tasks. However, it remains a challenging task to accurately record such knowledge due to the noisy nature of interleaved dialogs in live chat data. In this paper, we first formulate the task of identifying and synthesizing bug reports from community live chats, and propose a novel approach, named BugListener, to address the challenges. Specifically, BugListener automates three sub-tasks: 1) Disentangle the dialogs from massive chat logs by using a Feed-Forward neural network;2) Identify the bug-report dialogs from separated dialogs by leveraging the Graph neural network to learn the contextual information;3) Synthesize the bug reports by utilizing Transfer Learning techniques to classify the sentences into: observed behaviors (OB), expected behaviors (EB), and steps to reproduce the bug (SR). BugListener is evaluated on six open source projects. The results show that: for bug report identification, BugListener achieves the average F1 of 77.74%, improving the best baseline by 12.96%;and for bug report synthesis task, BugListener could classify the OB, EB, and SR sentences with the F1 of 84.62%, 71.46%, and 73.13%, improving the best baselines by 9.32%, 12.21%, 10.91%, respectively. A human evaluation study also confirms the effectiveness of BugListener in generating relevant and accurate bug reports. Furnace temperature is an important indicator to control and optimize the Municipal Solid Wastes Incineration（MSWI） process. However, limited by the environment and instruments, it is difficult to measure the furnace temperature online and accurately. In this paper, a TS fuzzy neural network is utilized to design the prediction model in MSWI process, trying to obtain the real-time and accurate measurement of the furnace temperature. First, the mechanism of the MSWI process is introduced in brief. Then, the structure and training method of the TS-fuzzy-neural-network-based prediction model is introduced in details, which helps to build the nonlinear relationship between the furnace temperature and other process ***, the designed prediction model is applied to a real MSWI plant, and simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and outperformance of the proposed methodology.
