A Novel Simple Visual Tracking Algorithm Based on Hashing and Deep Learning

Deep network has been proven efficient and robust to capture object features in some *** still remains in the stage of classifying or detecting *** the field of visual tracking,deep network has not been applied *** of the reasons is that its time consuming made the strong method could not meet the speed need of visual tracking.A novel simple tracker is proposed to complete tracking task.A simple six-layer feed-forward backpropagation neural network is applied to capture object ***,this representation is not robust enough when illumination changes or drastic scale changes in dynamic *** improve the performance and not to increase much time spent,image perceptual hashing method is employed,which extracts low frequency information of object as its fingerprint to recognize the object from its structure.64-bit characters are calculated by it,and they are utilized to be the bias terms of the neutral *** leads more significant improvement for performance of extracting sufficient object *** we take particle filter to complete the tracking process with the proposed *** experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm is efficient and robust compared with the state-of-the-art tracking methods.

In MOEA/D, the replacement strategy plays a key role in balancing diversity and convergence. However, existing adaptive replacement strategies either focus on neighborhood or global replacement strategy, which may have no obvious effects on balance of diversity and convergence in tackling complicated MOPs. In order to overcome this shortcoming, we propose a hybrid mechanism balancing neighborhood and global replacement strategy. In this mechanism, a probability threshold is applied to determine whether to execute a neighborhood or global replacement strategy, which could balance diversity and convergence. Furthermore, we design an offspring generation method to generate the high-quality solution for each subproblem, which can ease mismatch between subproblems and solutions. Based on the classic MOEA/D, we design a new algorithm framework, called MOEA/D-HRS. Compared with other state-of-the-art MOEAs, experimental results show that the proposed algorithm obtains the best performance. © 2018, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Unsupervised clustering for high-dimension data (such as imageset or video) is a hard issue in data processing and data mining area since these data always lie on a manifold (such as Grassmann manifold). Inspired of Low Rank representation theory, researchers proposed a series of effective clustering methods for high-dimension data with non-linear metric. However, most of these methods adopt the traditional single nuclear norm as the relaxation of the rank function, which would lead to suboptimal solution deviated from the original one. In this paper, we propose a new low rank model for high-dimension data clustering task on Grassmann manifold based on the Double Nuclear norm which is used to better approximate the rank minimization of matrix. Further, to consider the inner geometry or structure of data space, we integrated the adaptive Laplacian regularization to construct the local relationship of data samples. The proposed models have been assessed on several public datasets for imageset clustering. The experimental results show that the proposed models outperform the state-of-the-art clustering ones.

intelligent decision-making (IDM) is a cornerstone of artificial intelligence (AI) designed to automate or augment decision processes. Modern IDM paradigms integrate advanced frameworks to enable intelligent agents to make effective and adaptive choices and decompose complex tasks into manageable steps, such as AI agents and high-level reinforcement learning. Recent advances in multimodal foundation-based approaches unify diverse input modalities—such as vision, language, and sensory data—into a cohesive decision-making process. Foundation models (FMs) have become pivotal in science and industry, transforming decision-making and research capabilities. Their large-scale, multimodal data-processing abilities foster adaptability and interdisciplinary breakthroughs across fields such as healthcare, life sciences, and education. This survey examines IDM's evolution, advanced paradigms with FMs and their transformative impact on decision-making across diverse scientific and industrial domains, highlighting the challenges and opportunities in building efficient, adaptive, and ethical decision systems. © 2025 The Authors

This paper presents a novel saliency detection method based on weighted linear multiple kernel learning (WLMKL), which is able to adaptively combine different contrast measurements in a supervised manner. Three commonly used bottom-up visual saliency operations are first introduced, including corner-surround contrast (CSC), center-surround contrast (CESC), and global contrast (GC). Then these contrast measures are fed into our WLMKL framework to produce the final saliency map. We show that the assigned weights for each contrast feature maps are always normalized in our WLMKL formulation. In addition, the proposed approach benefits from the advantages of the contribution of each individual contrast operation, and thus produces more robust and accurate saliency maps. The extensive experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed model, and demonstrate the combination is superior to individual subcomponent. © 2020, Springer Science and Business Media Deutschland GmbH. Pedestrian attribute recognition has been an emerging research topic in the area of video surveillance. To predict the existence of a particular attribute, it is demanded to localize the regions related to the attribute. However, in this task, the region annotations are not available. How to carve out these attribute-related regions remains challenging. Existing methods applied attribute-agnostic visual attention or heuristic body-part localization mechanisms to enhance the local feature representations, while neglecting to employ attributes to define local feature areas. We propose a flexible Attribute Localization Module (ALM) to adaptively discover the most discriminative regions and learns the regional features for each attribute at multiple levels. Moreover, a feature pyramid architecture is also introduced to enhance the attribute-specific localization at low-levels with high-level semantic guidance. The proposed framework does not require additional region annotations and can be trained end-to-end with multi-level deep supervision. Extensive experiments show that the proposed method achieves state-of-the-art results on three pedestrian attribute datasets, including PETA, RAP, and PA-100K.

Recently, recommender systems have played an important role in improving web user experiences and increasing profits. Recommender systems exploit users' behavioral history (i.e., feedback on items) to build models. The feedback usually includes explicit feedback (e.g., ratings) and implicit feedback (e.g., browsing history, click logs), which are both useful for improving recommendations. However, as far as we are concerned, no existing works have integrated both explicit and multiple implicit feedback simultaneously. Therefore, we propose a unified and flexible model, named Multiple Feedback-based Personalized Ranking (MFPR), to make full use of multiple feedback, which uses a personalized ranking framework. To train model MFPR, we design an algorithm to generate ordered item pairs as labeled data, with consideration of both rating scores and multiple implicit feedback. Extensive experiments on two real-world datasets validate the effectiveness of the MFPR model. With the integration of multiple feedback, MFPR significantly improves recommendation performance. © 2018 ACM.

A short-term output power prediction model of wind power based on deep learning of grouped time series

The output power prediction of wind power plants is an important guarantee to improve the utilization rate of wind energy and reduce wind curtailment. However, due to the strong randomness of wind energy, the ultra-short-term prediction accuracy of wind power output is poor. In view of the problem above, a prediction model based on deep learning of grouped time series (LW-CLSTM) was proposed in this paper. Based on this model, the authors attempted to explore a prediction method of wind power output. For this, first the multivariate data of wind power was fused, cleaned, dimension-reduced, and standardized, and the time period characteristics of the output power itself were extracted. Afterwards, it proposes a time sliding window (TSW) algorithm, and constructs a neural network input data set. Then a deep neural network prediction model combining the Convolutional Neutral Network (CNN) and Long-Short Term Memory (LSTM) was established, and the regression evaluation criteria for output power forecast accuracy in wind power production were designed, to compare the proposed model with four other prediction models. Finally, the experiments on the TensorFlow platform using real data show that this model has better prediction accuracy than the other four models, reaching a prediction accuracy rate of 92.5%, which verified the effectiveness of this prediction method. © 2020 International Information and Engineering technology Association. Recently, due to the dual roles of DNA and enzyme, DNAzyme has been widely used in the field of DNA circuit, which has a wide range of applications in bio-engineered system, information processing and biocomputing. In fact, the activity of DNAzymes was regulated by subunits assembly, pH control and metal ions triggers. However, those regulations required to change the sequences of whole DNAzyme, as separating parts and inserting extra DNA sequence. Inspired by the allosteric regulation of proteins in nature, a new allosteric strategy is proposed to regulate the activity of DNAzyme without DNA sequences changes. In this strategy, DNA strand displacement was used to regulate the DNAzyme structure, through which the activity of DNAzyme was well controlled. The strategy was applied to E6-type DNAzymes, and the operations of DNA logic circuit (YES, OR, AND, cascading and feedback) were established and simulated with the dynamic analyses. The allosteric regulation has potential to construct more complicated molecular systems, which can be applied to bio-sensing and detection.
