With the demand of increasing revenue by attracting customers consuming mobile internet services, traffic monitoring and analysis become more critical on network management and service provisioning for operators and ISPs. At the same time, the rapid growing number of smartphone clients led to more complexity and explosive mobile Internet traffic. It makes traditional traffic analyzing methods face challenge of dealing with huge amount of data. In this paper, we propose and implement a distributed computing system which aims to perform high-speed data-intensive network traffic analyses by leveraging MapReduce programming model. Running on this efficient system, we summarize characteristics of smartphone mobile internet traffic by analyzing massive real data which is captured from a living UMTS network of a major service provider of China. Our analysis is crucial for cellular providers to anticipate usage patterns and future traffic growths.

We present a fundamentally different approach to improve the security of cloud storage. In contrast to previous methods, our approach introduces third party trusted timestamp and certificate into Cloud storage framework. And user's request is multiply validated. There are three main aspects. (i) Certificate identifies the user's identity; (ii) Trusted timestamp is added to the user's operation request; (iii) Cloud storage system communicates with TSA and Directory server for user information verification. Furthermore, our approach has two important features. First, we use PKI technology to improve cloud storage system security, and through Directory server to authenticate the user certificate status. Second, Cloud storage vets user's operation requests based on trusted timestamps and stores user's operation records, which can provide security services including safety audit, electronic evidence and other services. Our results show that our mechanism can vet and monitor various types of data operations in cloud storage system under the premise of increasing a very small overhead, and the security of cloud storage has greatly enhanced.

Mobile Internet is one of the most popular networks in the world. Constructing the physical structure of mobile Internet is the key to modeling the network. The existing studies of fixed Internet are not suitable for mobile Internet and a deep understanding of traffic graph in mobile Internet is required. In this paper, we construct a user-server network graphs from the complete flow records of mobile Internet collected from our self-developed equipment deployed in southern China. We investigate the characteristics of the properties of Web, IM and overall traffic as the complex network point of view. Different types of traffic have different characteristics. In addition, node degree and node strength distribution of servers show that mobile network follow the power law, however, node degree and node strength distribution of users do not possess the power law property. We further study the distributions of average strength for each edge of node which follow the power law, and find the regular pattern of exponents for different applications. These discoveries could be used by the ISPs and researchers to optimize the deployment of network resources and enhance the security of the network and the Quality of Services(QoS).

Multicast communication is an important requirement for many types of applications such as IPTV, video conference. In current IP multicast architecture, any host can join a multicast group without authentication because no host identification information is maintained by routers, which leads to security risks. In addition, the routers need to be involved in both forwarding packets and maintaining route states, which results in massive complexity of the devices and produces a lot of control overheads. This paper proposes a multicast clean-slate scheme based on Software-defined networking (SDN), aiming to improve security and controllability of multicast networks. A multicast controller logically centralized is designed to be responsible for handling multicast events, calculating multicast tree and authentication the identity of host. A prototype is implemented in our SDN platform. The result proves that our scheme is superior to the traditional IP multicast, which is reflected in two aspects: firstly, the illegal users are prevented from joining multicast group effectively. Secondly, the delay of joining a group is less than the traditional IP multicast.

Resource allocation is one of the key issues in long term evolution (LTE) systems. In this paper, we propose an adaptive resource allocation scheme with quality of service (QoS) guarantees to maximize system throughput for high-speed mobile LTE systems. In this scheme, considering that channel quality indicator (CQI) might be changed in fast mobile scenarios which can reduce the system throughput, we first propose a novel CQI feedback method to achieve continue high throughput. Then we optimize the resource blocks (RB) allocation procedure under QoS requirements and adopt a more effective modulation and coding scheme (MCS) selection method to improve the system performances. Through extensive simulations, the results show that the proposed resource allocation scheme can achieve higher system throughput and better performance stability compared with some existing schemes in high-speed mobile LTE systems.

The development of the mobile Internet brought about by the thriving mobile intelligent terminals has made it possible to access to the Internet anytime and *** people enjoy the convenience,they also suffer from a series of security threats caused by *** brings reliability and security in a network system and is regarded as one of the most popular security ***,the conventional IPS deployment often has some limitations,and the deployment and maintenance costs are expensive,the utilization rate is *** order to solve these issues,an SDN-based IPS deployment is presented in this paper,which supports a unified scheduling of security applications in the whole network and load balancing among *** addition,this paper builds a test-bed and shows evaluation *** the results,It is confirmed that the proposed scheme can achieve a shorter time for ping after the first ping and that with the load balancing,the network latency is significantly reduced.

An AF relay system usually treats the transmitting, relay, together with the receiving as equivalent channel for channel estimations. It is very important to establish a reasonable channel model to simulate the actual scene. In this paper, a novel cooperative channel model framework is proposed for cooperative multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) wireless channels. The proposed model framework is adaptable to multiple cooperative MIMO scenarios when the relay's mode is Amplify-and-forward. Given the information of correlation coefficient of transmitting, relay and receiving and the information of Mean and variance of Rayleigh channel, we can simulate the equivalent channel. Matlab simulations show that the equivalent channel is reasonable and the presented channel model can imitate the characters of the AF channel.

network virtualization has been pushed forward as an important potential solution to the gradual ossification problem faced by the existing Internet, allowing multiple heterogeneous network architectures to cohabit on a shared physical network. Efficient allocating the sacred physical resources among multiple virtual networks requests is a major challenge. Current resource allocation studies mainly focus on developing mapping algorithm with the model of one physical network and one virtual network. In this paper, we introduce a Lotka-Volterra model based resource allocation algorithm, consisting of multiple virtual networks. We apply the Lotka-Volterra model, which is a mathematical population model of bio-inspired species competition approach, to implement distributing resources for virtual networks. And Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm enhances the performance of the revenue-cost ratio and revenue of the embedding problem.

Nowadays, multipath routing algorithms and resource distribution strategies of the homogeneous network are the research focus of the Fiber-Wireless (FiWi) network which is the combination of optical subnetwork and wireless subnetwork. However few studies concerned on the efficient way to set up multipath in FiWi network as the affiliation of heterogeneous networks and packet reordering are tangled problems. Separating the Internet service provider (ISP) into two independent sections, nfrastructure provider (InP) and service provider (SP), the proposal of network virtualization provides a potential method to solve this problem. As a starting point, in this paper we apply network virtualization to remove the differences between heterogeneous networks to take FiWi network as a whole. Moreover, we propose a viable way to establish multipath access in the FiWi network through the flexible use of virtual networks (VNs) which can be deployed in the virtual resource manager (VRM). Besides, we present the superior performance of multipath in the FiWi network with network virtualization based on the simulation results by using the multipath scheduling policy Weighted Round Robin (WRR).
