With various cloud services emerging in data center networks, network congestion and load imbalance are seriously caused by elephant flows. To resolve this problem, a load balancing mechanism based on software defined networking (SDN) for elephant flows is proposed. The mechanism obtains the topology and status of the entire network via global view of SDN. Then it splits and sends elephant flows through multiple paths based on the ratios which are dynamically computed by taking account of the states of links. Finally, the system prototype is implemented in OpenFlow testbed. The results show the proposed mechanism can significantly enhance the performance of the network by improving the network throughput and link utilization.

In recent years, deep learning approaches have gained significant interest as a way of building hierarchical representations from unlabeled data. These deep learning approaches have been applied to image recognition, voice recognition and text processing. However, to our knowledge, the deep learning approaches have not been extensively studied for web data. In this paper, we apply deep belief networks to web data and evaluate the algorithm on various classification experiments by comparing its performance with that of the SVM classification algorithm. In addition, the experiments show good performance of the deep belief networks for various classification tasks.

In recent years, the scale of mobile Internet is rapidly increasing because of the explosive growing of smartphone users and applications. The traffic analysis and anomaly detection become critical for mobile operators. Up to now, there are a number of studies for detecting anomaly network traffic. However, the way of detecting anomalies on massive traffic data in real-time manner is not well studied. In this paper, we propose a real-time anomaly detection method based on dynamic k-NN cumulative-distance abnormal detection algorithm. We also present the design and implementation of the method by leveraging Strom, a distributed steam computing technology. Experimental results from evaluation by real-world dataset show that our system is a promised solution for real-time anomaly detection solution in high-speed network.

With the rapid development of the Internet, SNS services and 3G commercial mobile applications which brings tremendous opportunity, although the time on the development of SNS is very short in China, social web game is in the early stage of development, because of massive user, the potential commercial value of Chinese SNS is still a great mining space. A relatively large defects is the precipitation and accumulation on content, the dynamic of friends will affect our own decisions largely, it is favorable for the activity of SNS to increase the number of friends. We study some algorithms and models of the recommended system in this paper, and add the context awareness into the SNS friend recommended system, improve the calculation formula of similarity. We have improved the existing models, and conduct experiments to validate it and compare it with previous methods.

A coordination strategy among a large cellular MIMO network is presented in this paper. With clustered linear precoding and dynamic frequency reservation techniques, JDFR-BDGMD (Joint Dynamic Frequency Reservation and Block Diagonalization precoding with Geometric Mean Decomposition precoding scheme) greatly mitigates intra-cluster interference as well as inter-cluster interference in the downlink OFDMA networks. Furthermore, the coordination is based on decision tree classification which categorizes users into coordinative users and non-coordinative users. It is noteworthy that we pick a capacity-based subchannel from system available resources for coordinative users. Finally, an equal power allocation algorithm is utilized to distribute power. Simulation results show that our proposed scheme can significantly improve the performance of multi-cell networks.

In 3GPP Long Term Evolution (LTE) Heterogeneous network (HetNet), the macro Base Station and the pico Base Station (BS) have very different transmit powers. So the traditional cell selection makes some users connected to a macro BS although they are geographically closer to a pico BS. These users would create severe uplink (UL) interference in HetNet. Range Expansion (RE) technique is one saving grace that could partly mitigate the UL interference problem. However, it may simultaneously bring new downlink (DL) interference. In this paper, firstly an Uplink Interference Identification Scheme based on Range Expansion is proposed to identify the main UL interference source accurately. Then a dynamic UL Coordinated Multi-Point (CoMP) scheme is applied to the main interference source to ease the UL interference in HetNet. The proposed CoMP scheme dynamically chooses coordinated BSs for an allocated user itself specifically. And the CoMP scheme has no direct relation with DL, which means that it would not bring new DL interference, compared to RE. Simulation results indicate that the dynamic UL CoMP scheme can bring nearly 25% gain to the average user Signal to Interference and Noise Ratio (SINR) and nearly 22% gain to the average user throughput.

As traditional wireless cellular networks are facing a rapid growth of traffic demand, future networks may consist of a large number of small cells which are densely deployed. However, networks in dense environment is exposed to strong inter-cell interference problem which is critical to networks capacity. To solve the problem, we use the Graph Coloring Algorithm (GCA) to divide the small cells into different clusters to mitigate the serious inter-cell interference between the dense small cells, and accordingly reducing the transmission power of small cell BSs in some subframes based on the proposed utility function. The existence of the optimal solutions to the problem is discussed, then the Differential Evolution (DE) is applied to search the optimal transmission power which maximizes the proposed utility function. Intensive simulations show that the proposed scheme can significantly mitigate the co-tier interference and maximize networks capacity.

Cell coverage and network capacity are two major challenges for the evolving 4G cellular wireless communication networks. Hierarchical layering of cells with macro base stations coexisting with low-power base stations in a service area has been investigated as a promising technique for enhancing the coverage extension and reducing the transmit power consumption, which has emerged as a candidate for green communications. However, the cell splitting gain can only be achieved when both inter-layer and co-tier interference are properly handled. In this paper, a basic co-channel heterogeneous network (HetNet) deployment scenario with two cell layers is considered. The scheduler groups all the user equipments (UEs) into three sets according to the signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) and the factor R I . Furthermore, the total spectrum band is divided into three parts based on the size of user sets and the two layers both reduce the transmission power in some specific bands, so that contributes to interference mitigation and throughput enhancement. Simulation results show that the proposed method can not only promote the energy efficiency (EE) but also enhance system performance in terms of both cell edge users' SINR and system capacity.

Video applications are extremely important due to the overwhelming number of applications in the future wireless networks. The frequent bursty interference caused by the dense base stations poses a major challenge to improve quality of experience (QoE) for video application. In this paper, we propose a novel interference management schemes termed dynamic interference shaping method(DISM), in which the peak rate of best effort service is decreased by introduce the rate scaling factor(RSF) to improve the QoE for video applications. First, the cellular interference traffic is analyzed and modeled. The interference characteristics of multi-services are investigated and the QoE perception models are presented. Also we develop the utility function and utilize the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm to obtain the optimal RSF. Experiment has demonstrated the proposed algorithm significantly improves the QoE for video users with the negligible decrease in QoE for best effort users.
