With the large-scale integration of renewable energy,the traditional maintenance arrangement during the load valley period cannot satisfy the transmission demand of renewable energy ***,in a market-oriented operation mode,the power dispatching control center aims to reduce the overall power purchase cost while ensuring the security of the power ***,a security-constrained transmission maintenance optimization model considering generation and operational risk costs is proposed *** model is built on double-layer optimization framework,where the upper-layer model is used for maintenance and generation planning,and the lowerlayer model is primarily used to address the operational security risk arising from the random prediction error and N-1 transmission ***,a generation-maintenance iterative algorithm based on a defined cost feedback is included to increase solution *** cost is determined using long-term security-constrained unit commitment,and the operational risk cost is obtained using a double-layer N-1 risk assessment *** electrical correlation coupling coefficient is proposed for the solution process to avoid maintenance of associated equipment simultaneously,thereby improving model convergence *** IEEE 118-bus system is used as a test case for illustration,and test results suggest that the proposed model and algorithm can reduce the total cost of transmission maintenance and system operation while effectively improving the solution efficiency of the joint optimization model.

The optimal power flow problem plays an essential role in power system economic dispatch. To conduct daily operation, a huge number of scheduling plans are made in diverse systems. In order to reduce the scale of economic dispatch problems and improve the efficiency of scheduling, an active security constraint identification method is proposed in this paper, which aims to remove adequate useless security constraints to accelerate the calculation of dispatch problem, and keep the optimal solution unchanged. Based on the KKT condition, the proposed model can search for every possible active security constraint, other inactive constraints will be removed for speeding up the solution process. Case studies of an IEEE 30-bus system are demonstrated to show the active constraint identification results. Then, a 57 -bus system and a 118 -bus system are used for presenting the calculation efficiency of the proposed method. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper introduces a method for solving the unit commitment based on dimension reduction of security constraints. Initially, the security-constrained space of lines is obtained based on the transfer distribution factor matrix, and the similarity of line security constraints in the security-constrained space is measured by calculating the cosine of angle matrix. Then, based on the similarity and the similarity threshold, the security constraint similarity matrix of lines is obtained, and by applying the integer programming model to the similarity matrix to determine specific method of line aggregation, the security constraint set of aggregated lines is obtained. Subsequently, based on the above, a security-constrained unit commitment model suitable for line security constraint aggregation is developed, which effectively reduces the scale of security constraints and improves the solving efficiency of power system optimization. Finally, the proposed method is verified by numerical examples. © 2024 IEEE.

To solve the problems of single application scenarios, high system usage thresholds, and heavy workload of instructors in dispatcher training system(DTS), this paper introduces the concept of virtual digital avatar into DTS and designs the functional form of virtual instructors, which breaks through key technologies such as probabilistic fault modeling, generation of time-varying trends in power grid regulation and operation, and RPA based virtual instructor process control. It can support scenarios such as typical fault teaching and independent training and problem-solving etc. This article realizes a comprehensive digital replacement of the role of human instructors in scheduling skills training, providing one-to-many, 24-hour, and personalized scheduling training simulation services. © 2024 IEEE.

The analysis of dissolved gas in oil can provide an important basis for transformer fault *** order to improve the accuracy of transformer fault diagnosis,a method based on the relational teacher-student network(R-TSN)is proposed by analyzing the relationship between the dissolved gas in the oil and the fault type.R-TSN replaces the original hard labels with soft labels,and uses it to measure the similarity between different samples in the space,to a certain extent,it can obtain the hidden feature information in the samples,and clarify the classification *** the identification experiment,the effect of R-TSN diagnosis model is analyzed,and the influence of the compound fault of discharge and thermal on the diagnosis model is *** paper compares R-TSN with support vector machines(SVMs),decision trees and multilayer perceptron models in transformer fault *** results show that R-TSN has better performance than the above *** adding compound faults in the sample set,the accuracy rate can still reach 86.0%.

The energy storage system can effectively solve the challenges brought by the high proportion of renewable energy access to the power grid. In this paper, a big data feature mining method based on double-layer intelligent optimization algorithm is proposed. Considering the differences in operating conditions of energy storage systems in photovoltaic power stations caused by different seasonal scenarios and different weather scenarios, the improved bird swarm algorithm is proposed to mine the big data features of energy storage systems in photovoltaic power stations under typical weather scenarios. The inherent operation law of the energy storage system in the actual photovoltaic power station is revealed, and the charging and discharging characteristics of the actual energy storage system are reflected. © 2024 IEEE.

As the brain of power grid control, power dispatching automatic control software undertakes the dual tasks of optimizing power quality and improving grid security. The stable operation of software plays an important role in power system operation. However, due to the lack of safety awareness of R&D personnel, they frequently modify software code and change software configuration, and the problem of version confusion is prominent due to the random change of software on the project site. Aiming at the characteristics of dispatching automatic control software, such as complex code, different deployment environments, and the need for on-site compilation, this paper designs a version control framework of dispatching automatic control software, proposes a ladder aggregation encryption method and a multidimensional verification method, gives consideration to the difficulty and efficiency of software version encryption, solves the problem that consistency verification cannot be performed under different compilation environments, and effectively improves the reliability of automatic scheduling control software, It provides effective support for the safe and stable operation of software. © 2023 IEEE.

With multiple and complicated security constraints of unit commitment problem in large grids, and the difficulty of considering the uncertainty of renewable energy output, this article proposes a fast solving method for long-term unit commitment based on the construction of an effective power flow constraint set using the 0-1 relaxation method. Firstly, obtain the rough unit commitment scheduling result by using 0-1 relaxation method to quickly identify the feasible region of unit commitment. Then, identify the line that will exceed the limit under such result and include it into the effective power flow constraint set. Secondly, identify the line that may exceed the limit by considering the change in allocation between units, load and wind power prediction errors, and include it into the effective power flow constraint set. Finally, solve the mixed integer programming problem of unit commitment, considering effective power flow constraints. © 2023 IEEE.
