Based on flight operation data, this paper constructs a diversion path planning method for busy waypoints by analyzing the relationship of flight traffic conduction between waypoints. Taking busy waypoint KHN as an example, a total of two diversion paths are planned, specifically one in the east-west direction and one in the north-south direction, and the two diversion paths are evaluated in terms of safety and economy, and the results of the evaluations are within the acceptable range. The method of this paper can improve the capacity of airspace resources without changing the existing air route network;at the same time, this method can also assist in identifying the bottleneck of airspace resources, which means identifying the key waypoints affecting the flow of diversion paths, so as to provide certain theoretical references for china to enhance the total number of flights, and to improve the utilization rate of airspace resources and operational efficiency. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper presents a design scheme of traffic light system at airport level crossing based on video surveillance technology. The system uses cameras and edge computing to detect the aircraft about to pass through the intersection with signals transmitted through data radio stations, and controls the traffic lights to alert vehicle drivers, to reduce the risk of conflict or collision between vehicles and the aircraft. The overall framework of the system and the design scheme of each functional module are introduced in detail, and the practical application of the system at a domestic airport is shown in the end. The system has the characteristics of low cost, easy deployment, high reliability, low delay, and strong expansibility, which can provide help for the safety management of airport surface operation. © 2023 IEEE.

Flight regularity rate is one of the important indicators to describe flight normalcy. With the development of civil aviation, several important changes have been made to the flight regularity rate statistical standards. How to measure the flight regularity rate fairly and accurately is related to the correctness of the subsequent research direction. To this end, this paper is based on the data of domestic flight operation in summer and autumn seasons of 2021, uses python to clean and pre-process the data, establishes indicators and clusters through Tableau, then finds the differences of flight regularity rate under different statistical standards, and finally makes suggestions on how to improve the statistical method of flight normalcy and improve the level of flight normalcy effectively. © 2022 IEEE.

In order to improve the accuracy of route flow prediction, this paper uses machine learning algorithms to construct a route flow prediction model based on the aerial surveillance track information and National Aeronautical Information Publication (NAIP), and selects the ontological property indicators of airspace resources in terms of spatiality and morphological structure. Meanwhile, in order to verify the applicability of the method, this paper uses multiple data sets as a comparison. From the results, it can be seen that the prediction results of the integrating airspace ontological properties method are better, with an average improvement of 3.15% in accuracy;for the route segments with medium and low traffic, the prediction results are significantly better than the method without integrating ontological properties, with an average improvement of 4.12% in accuracy. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper proposes and introduces the construction scheme of the aircraft continuing airworthiness management assistant system based on data evidence. The system can deeply integrate aircraft fault/event cases, usage information and actual operational airborne QAR data to achieve classified management of fault data, normal data, new aircraft data, and full life cycle data, thereby enhancing the role of data evidence and data intelligence in continuing airworthiness management. QAR data can be used as direct evidence for fault case analysis and investigation. Statistical rules obtained and model trained from historical data can serve as indirect evidence for fleet health management. Taking engine health management as an example, the article introduces the construction and management of engine typical fault case sets based on system database, and shows the real fault cases in actual operation and the application of related engine condition monitoring technologies based on QAR data, including threshold monitoring, dual-engine difference monitoring and trend monitoring. The system can serve not only the supervision of regulators, but also the fleet health management of airlines and manufacturers, which helps all parties improve their continuing airworthiness management capabilities, discover design and manufacturing defects in a timely manner during operation, and continuously track and ensure aircraft airworthiness status. © 2022 IEEE.

Unstable approach is a key issue in the safe flight operation of civil aviation industry. In recent years, the incidence of unstable approach events has increased. An important index to judge the unstable approach is the approach airspeed of the aircraft. CAAC and airlines actively develop monitoring procedures to monitor aircraft approaching airspeed overrun events. However, the accuracy of event monitoring is not high, and there are many false warnings. This paper studies the causes of false warnings, and designs an approach airspeed monitoring program based on the minimum ground speed function. This monitoring program can effectively reduce the occurrence of false warnings and significantly improve the monitoring accuracy of approach airspeed overrun events. Provide more reliable data support for analyzing aircraft unstable approach. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper proposes a data-driven aircraft flight performance comparative analysis method based on QAR data. Based on historical flight operation data of a flight season (213 days) from civil aviation operation system of china, this paper discusses the establishment of a model to evaluate airline network operation efficiency through deep learning modeling and data-driven approach. At the system level, the model built can collaboratively consider the comprehensive impact on operation efficiency, including hourly inbound and outbound flights at each airport, flight traffic on different routes at different time periods, etc. Related indicators of the system's airline network operation efficiency can be estimated. Daily flight operation data were converted into the number of flights received and released hourly by airport pairs (routes) as input to the model. The normal rates of flight takeoffs and landings in 39 tens of millions of airports were taken as the output. The model was trained by long and short-term memory (LSTM) networks to capture mutual influence of airline flight volume in the time dimension. Average absolute errors on the training set and validation set are 6.97% and 6.90%, respectively. This paper provides model and method support for the early warning of national flight operation situation and the refined management of the national airport hourly capacity and airline flight volume. © 2021 IEEE
