The Internet of Vehicles (IoV) is an application of the Internet of things (IoT). It faces two main security problems: (1) the central server of the IoV may not be powerful enough to support the centralized authentication of the rapidly increasing connected vehicles, (2) the IoV itself may not be robust enough to single-node attacks. To solve these problems, this paper proposes SG-PBFT: a secure and highly efficient PBFT consensus algorithm for Internet of Vehicles, which is based on a distributed blockchain structure. The distributed structure can reduce the pressure on the central server and decrease the risk of single-node attacks. The SG-PBFT consensus algorithm improves the traditional PBFT consensus algorithm by using a score grouping mechanism to achieve a higher consensus efficiency. The experimental result shows that our method can greatly improve the consensus efficiency and prevent single-node attacks. Specifically, when the number of consensus nodes reaches 1000, the consensus time of our algorithm is only about 27% of what is required for the state-of-the-art consensus algorithm (PBFT). Our proposed SG-PBFT is versatile and can be used in other application scenarios which require high consensus efficiency. Copyright © 2021, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Messaging system as a communicating infrastructure is a safety-critical component of autonomous vehicles. For the purpose of safety certification of Level 4 autonomous driving systems, its necessary to provide a formally verified specification of messaging systems. This paper presents a realistic case study using the PiCore rely-guarantee framework to formally verify the DGPS (Differential Global Positioning System) of UISEE autonomous driving systems. We first create an axiom model of messaging systems by extending PiCore, which is reusable for concrete applications. The model supports dynamic configuration of message buffers as well as the automatic generation of the rely and guarantee conditions for compositional reasoning. It is instantiated when developing the formal specification of DGPS. Then, we use the rely-guarantee proof system of PiCore to verify the functional correctness and invariant of DGPS. The specification and its proof provide a strong evidence for the ongoing safety certification of DGPS.

This paper aims to present a new multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) approach for solving problems in an uncertain and complex environment. In any MAGDM problem, the key challenge is how to quantify and aggregate the objective uncertainty information contained in the data. To answer this, in this paper, we utilize the idea of linguistic Pythagorean fuzzy set (LP y FS) to describe the information in terms of linguistic membership degree (LMD) and linguistic non-membership degree (LNMD). We first present some new operations of LP y FS, including Aczel–Alsina (AA) sum, AA product, and AA scalar multiplication. At that point, we develop various LP y F aggregation operators which are based on these defined operations, including the LP y F Aczel–Alsina weighted averaging (LP y FAAWA) operator, the LP y F Aczel–Alsina ordered weighted averaging (LP y FAAOWA) operator, LP y F Aczel–Alsina weighted geometric (LP y FAAWG) operator and LP y F Aczel–Alsina ordered weighted geometric (LP y FAAOWG) operator. We configure these operators with different characteristics. It can be seen that the proposed operators have commutativity, monotonicity, boundary, and idempotency properties. Then, we design a new technique dependent on these operators to solve MAGDM problems. The applicability of the established approach is demonstrated through a case study related to smart city development. The result demonstrates the new technique's feasibility and applicability. In the end, sensitivity analysis and a systematic comparison between the prevailing and suggested techniques are given.

Blockchain-based approach for securing spectrum trading in multibeam satellite systems

This paper presents a blockchain-based approach for securing spectrum sharing in multi-beam satellite systems. Satellite spectrum is a scarce resource that requires highly efficient management schemes for optimized sharing by network users. However, spectrum sharing is vulnerable to attacks by malicious protocol participants. In order to ensure efficient spectrum management in the face of dishonest satellite users or cyber attackers, it is important for spectrum sharing mechanism to provide transparency and traceability of the trading process so as to enable the system to detect, and hence eliminate, unauthorized access by malicious users. We address these requirements by proposing the use of blockchain which, apart from its ability to provide transparency and traceability, ensures an immutable means for keeping track of user trading reputation. Besides, in order to address the practical constraints of heterogeneous user nodes, we also propose the use of edge computing to support users with limited computing power. In this paper, we propose a blockchain-based spectrum trading framework and, based on which, a multibeam satellite spectrum sharing algorithm for interference pricing and heterogeneous spectrum demands is devised to improve the efficiency of satellite spectrum. By leveraging on the system characteristics of blockchain, a dynamic spectrum sharing mechanism with traceability, openness and transparency for whole trading process is presented. Node representation learning for directed graphs is critically important to facilitate many graph mining tasks. To capture the directed edges between nodes, existing methods mostly learn two embedding vectors for each node, source vector and target vector. However, these methods learn the source and target vectors separately. For the node with very low indegree or outdegree, the corresponding target vector or source vector cannot be effectively learned. In this paper, we propose a novel Directed Graph embedding framework based on Generative Adversarial Network, called DGGAN. The main idea is to use adversarial mechanisms to deploy a discriminator and two generators that jointly learn each node's source and target vectors. For a given node, the two generators are trained to generate its fake target and source neighbor nodes from the same underlying distribution, and the discriminator aims to distinguish whether a neighbor node is real or fake. The two generators are formulated into a unified framework and could mutually reinforce each other to learn more robust source and target vectors. Extensive experiments show that DGGAN consistently and significantly outperforms existing state-of-the-art methods across multiple graph mining tasks on directed graphs. Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming scientific research, including proteomics. Advances in mass spectrometry (MS)-based proteomics data quality, diversity, and scale, combined with groundbreaking AI techniques, are unlocking new challenges and opportunities in biological discovery. Here, we highlight key areas where AI is driving innovation, from data analysis to new biological insights. In the Internet of things (IoT) era, vehicles and other intelligent components in an intelligent transportation system (ITS) are connected, forming vehicular networks (VNs) that provide efficient and safe traffic and ubiquitous access to various applications. However, as the number of nodes in an ITS increases, it is challenging to satisfy a varied and large number of service requests with different quality of service (QoS) and security requirements in highly dynamic VNs. Intelligent nodes in VNs can compete or cooperate for limited network resources to achieve the objective for either an individual or a group. Game theory (GT), a theoretical framework designed for strategic interactions among rational decision makers sharing scarce resources, can be used to model and analyze individual or group behaviors of communicating entities in VNs. This paper primarily surveys the recent developments of GT in solving various challenges of VNs. This survey starts with an introduction to the background of VNs. A review of GT models studied in the VNs is then introduced, including the basic concepts, classifications, and applicable vehicular issues. After discussing the requirements of VNs and the motivation of using GT, a comprehensive literature review on GT applications in dealing with the challenges of current VNs is provided. Furthermore, recent contributions of GT to VNs that are integrated with diverse emerging 5G technologies are surveyed. Finally, the lessons learned are given, and several key research challenges and possible solutions of applying GT in VNs are outlined. Copyright © 2021, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Traffic accidents seriously threaten people’s lives and property all over the world. Therefore, it is of great significance to human society to have a long-term traffic accidents data with detail temporal and geographic information in a specific space, which can be used for traffic accident hotspots identification to reduce the incidence of traffic accidents. Here, we obtain a one-year dataset of traffic accidents of the city center in Changchun, Northeast China, in 2017. In this paper, we analyze the risk of traffic accident in urban area, and then discover the characteristics of traffic accidents at the temporal and spatial aspect. We construct a traffic network, which takes crossings as nodes and road sections as edges and weighted by the total number of traffic accidents. In addition, we integrate road structure data and meteorological data to explore the characteristics of the traffic network. © 2020, ICST institute for computer sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications engineering.

The increasing prevalence of diabetes has become a global public health concern in the 21st *** 2021,it was estimated that 537 million people had diabetes,and this number is projected to reach 643 million by 2030,and 783 million by 2045[1].Such a huge burden of diabetes brings great challenges in its prevention and management,including early diagnosis,timely interventions,and regular monitoring of risk factor control and complications *** self-care support and patient empowerment can enhance clinical and psychobehavioural outcomes[2],although these require additional resources including manpower,infrastructure(hard and technology),and *** emergence of digital health technologies(DHTs),especially artificial intelligence(AI),may help address these obstacles and alleviate the burden of diabetes[3].Large language models(LLMs),a generative AI that can accept image and text inputs and produce text outputs,have shown promise in various aspects of medical care.
