Crowd detection and prevention systems have become essential for managing densely populated areas. Modern systems leverage the combined power of machine learning, data mining, and image processing to extract and analyse features from crowded zones, enabling the identification of behavioural patterns and anomalies. However, most current solutions primarily focus on detection and lack robust decision-making and recommendation mechanisms for selecting appropriate crowd-prevention strategies. To address this gap, we integrate the predictive capabilities of machine learning models with the analytical and clustering strengths of Fuzzy Formal Concept Analysis (fuzzy FCA). Machine learning is employed to extract valuable insights from images of the area, with a neural network used to identify human figures, track individuals' positions, and predict crowd levels. This data is fed into an FFCA-based decision system, where crowd information is structured and clustered using lattice theory. This latter helped exclude low-crowd zones and cluster the rest of the monitored areas based on their crowd features. Additionally, we define bottom-up parsing algorithms to recommend suitable crowd-prevention plans based on crowd density levels within fuzzy formal concepts. Experiments confirmed not only the ability of fuzzy FCA to "exclude"low-crowd zones thanks to a used crowd threshold but also the efficient "feature-based clustering"of crowded zones into hierarchical formal concepts and these latter's "bottom-up parsing"to finally identify the dense zones. © 2024 IEEE.

The rising frequency and sophistication of cyberattacks have made real-time malicious IP detection a critical challenge for modern Security Operations Center (SOC). Traditional solutions, such as static blacklists and manual IP reputation checks, are no longer sufficient in today's dynamic threat scenario. To overcome these constraints, we present IP SafeGuard, an AI-driven platform that incorporates multi-source threat intelligence, sophisticated feature engineering, and machine learning (ML)for real-time IP categorization. The framework collects data from AbuseIPDB, VirusTotal, and other sources to compute a Dynamic Threat Score (DTS) for each IP address. It leverages an XGBoost-based classification model to achieve high accuracy and low false-positive rates, even in skewed datasets. Experimental findings indicate the improved performance of IP SafeGuard, with an accuracy of 98.2%, a precision of 97.8%, and a recall of 98.5%. The average detection duration of 45 milliseconds makes it appropriate for real-time SOC integration, enabling automated incident response through Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) alerting and firewall blocking. The framework's modular design assures scalability and adaptability, making it a vital tool for high-volume situations. By overcoming the limits of old approaches and using the power of ML, IP SafeGuard considerably boosts the efficiency and efficacy of current cybersecurity systems. Future work involves expanding the system to enable new threat intelligence sources and studying federated learning for secure and privacy-preserving threat information exchange. © 2013 IEEE.

Cooperative co-evolution (CC) is a promising direction in solving large-scale multiobjective optimization problems (LMOPs). However, most existing methods of grouping decision variables face some difficulties when searching in the huge search space. Specifically, the methods of grouping decision variables can be classified into two types, i.e., high-consumption grouping methods and non-consumption grouping methods. On the one hand, the former ones divide the decision variables into different groups based on the correlation analysis between variables, which consume much evaluation. This way may lead to premature convergence within limited computational resources. On the other hand, the later ones allocate the decision variables into sub-groups based on some metrics, e.g., order and size, which consume no evaluation while may cause the search fall into local optima. To alleviate the above issues, this paper proposes a CC-based algorithm with a variable-importance grouping (VIG) method, called VICCA. Firstly, the decision variables are classified into several subgroups according to their importance quantified by a meta-gene construction method. Secondly, a CC strategy is designed to simultaneously optimize all subgroups of decision variables formed by VIG using the differential evolution operator, which aims to accelerate the convergence speed. Thirdly, a global evolutionary strategy is proposed to optimize original decision variable space by the competitive swarm optimizer, aiming to maintain the diversity. Finally, the experiments demonstrate that our proposed VICCA has the significant advantage in solving LMOPs when compared with state-of-the-art evolutionary algorithms. © 2024 IEEE.

In implant prosthesis treatment, the surgical guide of implant is used to ensure accurate implantation. However, such design heavily relies on the manual location of the implant position. When deep neural network has been proposed to assist the dentist in locating the implant position, most of them take a single slice as input, which do not fully explore 3D contextual information and ignores the influence of implant slope. In this paper, we design a Text Guided 3D Context and Slope Aware Triple Network (TCSloT) to integrate the perception of contextual information from multiple adjacent slices and awareness of variation of implant slopes. A Texture Variation Perception (TVP) module is correspondingly design to process the multiple slices and capture the texture variation among slices and a Slope-Aware Loss (SAL) is proposed to dynamically assign adaptive weights for the regression head. Additionally, we design a conditional text guidance (CTG) module to integrate the text condition (i.e., left, middle and right) from the CLIP to assist the implant position prediction. Extensive experiments on a dental implant dataset through five-fold cross-validation, demonstrated that the proposed TCSloT achieves superior performance than existing methods. © 2023 IEEE.

Blockchain technology has garnered increasing attention from researchers. Because blockchain systems may contain malicious or spatially limited nodes that may delay block verification and reduce block transmission rate, this work proposes a block transmission model by designing and using special clusters. This work proposes the cluster formation and selection mechanisms. Nodes are grouped into clusters in a blockchain, and clusters with high fitness values are chosen to transmit blocks by calculating their trust values and block transmission rates. The proposed method is compared with the peers: Layer-Chain, BlockP2P-EP and RNS. According to experimental findings, the proposed method is superior to its peers regarding the time needed for block synchronization and transmission, block occupation storage ratio, transaction throughput, and block transmission success ratio. © 2024 IEEE.

The graph with complex annotations is the most potent data type, whose constantly evolving motivates further exploration of the unsupervised dynamic graph representation. One of the representative paradigms is graph contrastive learning. It constructs self-supervised signals by maximizing the mutual information between the statistic graph's augmentation views. However, the semantics and labels may change within the augmentation process, causing a significant performance drop in downstream tasks. This drawback becomes greatly magnified on dynamic graphs. To address this problem, we designed a simple yet effective framework named CLDG. Firstly, we elaborate that dynamic graphs have temporal translation invariance at different levels. Then, we proposed a sampling layer to extract the temporally-persistent signals. It will encourage the node to maintain consistent local and global representations, i.e., temporal translation invariance under the timespan views. The extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the method on seven datasets by outperforming eight unsupervised state-of-the-art baselines and showing competitiveness against four semi-supervised methods. Compared with the existing dynamic graph method, the number of model parameters and training time is reduced by an average of 2,001.86 times and 130.31 times on seven datasets, respectively. Community discovery can help discover potential community structures in the network, which is a fundamental and important issue in network science. Graph neural network-based algorithms are receiving increasing attention. However, there is relatively little work on community discovery directly using graph neural networks in reconstruction design. This paper presents an Unsupervised Community Discovery Algorithm based on reconstructed graph neural network (UCDA) to resolve the above issues. To be specific, this paper proposes a framework that learns the representation based on network structure and attribute information. By designing input network features, encoders, decoders, this algorithm uses an unsupervised loss function to train neural networks to extract communities in an integrated way. These designs integrate higher-order modularity information with network features and use variational graph auto-encoders to train data end-to-end under the graph neural network framework. Based on a series of experiments with a wide range of datasets and advanced algorithms, UCDA has achieved superior performance and shows strong competitiveness. Finally, the last section reports the results analysis, t-SNE visualization and hyperparameter analysis, which depicts stable performance and powerful network modularity ability. © 2023 IEEE.
