Asymptotic theory for the regularized system identification has received increasing interests in recent *** this paper,for the finite impulse response(FIR) model and filtered white noise inputs,we show the convergence in distribution of the Stein's unbiased risk estimator(SURE) based hyper-parameter estimator and find factors that influence its convergence *** particular,we consider the ridge regression case to obtain closed-form expressions of the limit of the regression matrix and the variance of the limiting distribution of the SURE based hyper-parameter estimator,and then demonstrate their relation numerically.

Pseudogenes are important resources for investigation of genome evolution and genomic diversity because they are nonfunctional but have regulatory effects that influence plant adaptation and ***,few systematic comparative analyses of pseudogenes in closely related species have been ***,we present a turnip(Brassica rapa ***)genome sequence and characterize pseudogenes among diploid Brassica species/*** results revealed that the number of pseudogenes was greatest in Brassica oleracea(CC genome),followed by ***(AA genome)and then Brassica nigra(BB genome),implying that pseudogene differences emerged after species *** Brassica AA genomes,pseudogenes were distributed asymmetrically on chromosomes because of numerous chromosomal insertions/rearrangements,which contributed to the diversity among *** differences among subspecies were reflected in the flavor-related glucosinolate(GSL)***,turnip had the highest content of pungent substances,probably because of expansion of the methylthioalkylmalate synthase-encoding gene family in turnips;these genes were converted into pseudogenes in *** ***(Chiifu).RNA interference-based silencing of the gene encoding 2-oxoglutarate-dependent dioxygenase 2,which is also associated with flavor and anticancer substances in the GSL pathway,resulted in increased abundance of anticancer compounds and decreased pungency of turnip and *** findings revealed that pseudogene differences between turnip and Chiifu influenced the evolution of flavor-associated GSL metabolism-related genes,ultimately resulting in the different flavors of turnip and Chiifu.

The use of Transformer represents a recent success in speech enhancement. However, as its core component, self-attention suffers from quadratic complexity, which is computationally prohibited for long speech recordings. Moreover, it allows each time frame to attend to all time frames, neglecting the strong local correlations of speech signals. This study presents a simple yet effective sparse self-attention for speech enhancement, called ripple attention, which simultaneously performs fine- and coarse-grained modeling for local and global dependencies, respectively. Specifically, we employ local band attention to enable each frame to attend to its closest neighbor frames in a window at fine granularity, while employing dilated attention outside the window to model the global dependencies at a coarse granularity. We evaluate the efficacy of our ripple attention for speech enhancement on two commonly used training objectives. Extensive experimental results consistently confirm the superior performance of the ripple attention design over standard full self-attention, blockwise attention, and dual-path attention (Sep-Former) in terms of speech quality and intelligibility. © 2023 IEEE.

This work suggests a joint optimization of the aerial intelligent reflecting surface (AIRS) placement, passive beamforming, and base station (BS) association to improve the overall data throughput and fairness across downlink heterogeneous cellular networks. Differing from the related works in the literature that just seek to maximize signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR), the paper takes into account the load balancing between macrocells and small cells. The resulting joint optimization problem is mixed continuous-discrete and has a highly bumpy landscape, so the traditional (sub)gradient-based tools are not suited. We propose a model-free approach based on adaptive particle swarm optimization (APSO) and blind beamforming, which recovers the solution from random explorations of the solution space. Simulations show that the proposed algorithm enables balanced traffic for the coexisting macro and small cells, and thereby achieves a higher network utility than the benchmark methods.

This paper concerns the coordinate multi-cell beamforming design for integrated sensing and communications (ISAC). The optimization objective is to maximize a weighted sum of the communication rates and the sensing Fisher information. The conventional beamforming method for massive multiple-input multiple-output transmission, i.e., the weighted minimum mean square error (WMMSE) algorithm, has a natural extension to the ISAC problem scenario from a fractional programming (FP) perspective. However, the extended WMMSE algorithm requires computing the $N \times N$ matrix inverse extensively, where $N$ is proportional to the antenna array size, so the algorithm becomes quite costly when antennas are massively deployed. To address this issue, we develop a nonhomogeneous bound and use it in conjunction with the FP technique to solve the ISAC beamforming problem without the need to invert any large matrices. It is further shown that the resulting new FP algorithm has an intimate connection with gradient projection, based on which the convergence can be accelerated.

Active disturbance-rejection methods are effective in estimating and rejecting disturbances in both transient and steady-state *** paper presents a deep observation on and a comparison between two of those methods:the generalized extended-state observer(GESO)and the equivalent input disturbance(EID)from assumptions,system configurations,stability conditions,system design,disturbance-rejection performance,and extensibility.A time-domain index is introduced to assess the disturbance-rejection performance.A detailed observation of disturbance-suppression mechanisms reveals the superiority of the EID approach over the GESO method.A comparison between these two methods shows that assumptions on disturbances are more practical and the adjustment of disturbance-rejection performance is easier for the EID approach than for the GESO method.

The intermodal travel characteristics and combination selection behaviors of passengers are key issues to providing reasonable, efficient, and safe solutions, ensuring the traffic order, and improving quality. With the Beijing Winter Olympics as a background, by combining the Stated Preference and Revealed Preference surveys, the research develops a decision-making behavior model based on nested logit to investigate the passenger travel choices. The impacts of individual attributes, epidemic prevention policies, and preferential measures on the choice of intermodal travel, as well as the combination of departure time and travel mode, are studied. The results show that cultural and creative products have a significant impact on the combined travel choices. The cultural and creative products and consumer vouchers have a significant impact on the choice of intermodal travel. The research results can provide insights into traffic organization and management policies during large-scale events. © ASCE.

Since the large-scale ice disaster occurred in 2008, DC ice melting technology has gradually become a common configuration for substations in medium and heavy ice-covered areas of China, which has become the most effective measure for transmission lines to resist large-scale ice-covered disasters in winter. However, it has been found that many communication links and low ice melting wiring efficiency exist in DC ice melting operation process, causing the transmission line to take too long from outage to resumption. Aiming at the existing problems, the time-consuming characteristics of various wiring forms of ice-melting transmission lines that have been carried out in the past of Guizhou Power Grid are obtained: the dispatcher command model is inefficient in melting ice due to too many communication links. In order to improve work efficiency, this paper proposes an ice melting work-group model that gives transmission line management authority to the person in charge of on-site ice melting work. The advantages of the ice melting work-group mode in the efficiency of ice melting on transmission lines are verified by comparing the two modes in terms of time consumption in engineering application. Finally, for the long time-consuming operation process of Ice-melting wiring operations, a one-key sequence control is proposed, the transformation requirements for substation are given and the efficiency of the method is verified, which has guiding significance for the further improvement of deicing efficiency in the future. © Beijing Paike Culture Commu. Anomaly detection aims to find outliers data that do not conform to expected behaviors in a specific scenario, which is indispensable and critical in current safety environments related studies. However, when performing outlier detection on a large-scale multidimensional dataset, most of the traditional methods make no distinctions between classes of outliers and lack the reasoning ability and the explainability of the analysis results, which leads to the low accuracy of global outlier detection and the inability to effectively identify local outliers. In this paper, we propose a fine-grained anomaly detection method which well utilizes isolation forest and knowledge graph reasoning tactics. First, a better extracting data feature method and a more reasonable weighted strategy are used to find global outliers based on the traditional isolation forest algorithm, and then we construct a custom rule base according to the in-depth research and analysis of global abnormal data, and at last the ontology knowledge is reasoned based on such rule base to achieve the detection of local outliers. Through analysis of extensive experiment results, our method could effectively discover more abnormal data without big loss of time costs, has strong generalization, and correspondingly improves the performance for abnormal detection. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
