In the context of the rapid development of artificial intelligence, telecommunications operators have accumulated an increasing amount of data. China Mobile has developed a set of practical methods of enhanced data catalog in response to current issues such as difficulties in scheduling heterogeneous data from multiple sources, lack of macroscopic views of data usage, unintelligent data operation methods, and high risk of data leakage. By leveraging data virtualization, active metadata management, machine learning, along with other large-scale model technologies, China Mobile has crafted an enhanced data catalog, improving the data management efficiency and business decision-making process, further strengthening its competitiveness in the telecommunication industry. © 2024 IEEE.

Most existing Salient Object Detection (SOD) methods focus on achieving better performance, often resulting in models with a large number of parameters. However, there is limited research on lightweight models in this field. To address this gap, our goal is to maintain performance while reducing the number of network parameters. Thanks to the development of large-kernel convolutions in recent years, we have improved the U2Net as the base network by adding our lightweight dual large-kernel fusion module. Our module better utilizes the depth information of U2Net and, due to the large receptive field of large-kernel convolutions, better captures the relationships between image elements. This allows our network to remain lightweight while maintaining performance. We designed a large-kernel (DLK) fusion module and a lightweight dual grouped large-kernel Unet network (DGLKUNET). Our network uses SRUS (an improved Residual U-blocks module, RUS) to construct DGLKUNET that predicts image contours and labels. Compared to the base RUS network (U2Net), our network reduces the number of parameters by up to 70% and the computational cost by 40% while maintaining performance. Spatiotemporal deformation analysis of glaciers and surrounding landscapes in the Shishapangma region using InSAR techniques

Glacier dynamics in the Himalayan midlatitudes,particularly in regions like the Shishapangma,are not yet fully understood,especially the localized topographic and climatic impacts on glacier *** study analyzes the spatiotemporal characteristics of glacier surface deformation in the Shishapangma region using the Small Baseline Subset(SBAS)Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar(In SAR)*** analysis reveals an average deformation rate of-4.02±17.65 mm/yr across the entire study area,with glacier regions exhibiting significantly higher rates of uplift(16.87±13.20 mm/yr)and subsidence(20.11±14.55 mm/yr)compared to non-glacier *** identifies significant surface lowering on the mountain flanks and localized uplift in certain catchments,emphasizing the higher deformation rates in glacial areas compared to non-glacial *** found a strong positive correlation between temperature and cumulative deformation(correlation coefficient of 0.63),particularly in glacier areas(0.82).The research highlights the role of temperature as the primary driver of glacier wastage,particularly at lower elevations,with strong correlations found between temperature and cumulative *** also indicates the complex interactions between topographic features,notably,slope gradient,which shows a positive correlation with subsidence rates,especially for slopes below 35°.South-,southwest-,and west-facing slopes exhibit significant uplift,while north-,northeast-,and east-facing slopes predominantly ***,we identified transition zones between debris-covered glaciers and clean ice as areas of most intense deformation,with average rates exceeding 30 mm/yr,highlighting these as potential high-risk zones for *** study comprehensively analyzes the deformation characteristics in both glacier and non-glacier areas in the Shishapangma region,revealing the complex interplay of topographic,climatic,and hydrological factors influencing glacier dynamic

An efficient speech emotion recognition based on a dual-stream CNN-transformer fusion network

The use of machine learning and artificial intelligence enables us to create intelligent systems. Speech emotion recognition system analyzes the speaker’s speech to determine his/her emotional state. Speech emotion recognition is a challenging pattern recognition task. This paper proposes a new robust and lightweight speech emotion recognition system based on a dual-stream CNN-Transformer fusion network that effectively captures spatial and temporal information disentangled in long-distance raw features by exploring both MFCCs and Mel-spectrograms in a parallel mechanism. Experiments are performed on the widely used emotional benchmark datasets. Our approach has shown to be quite efficient. It outperforms the best-known state-of-the-art models with an accuracy of 97.64%, 99.42%, and 97.53% on RAVDESS, TESS, and EMO-DB datasets respectively. The results demonstrate the significant advantages of the proposed model and the ability of this architecture to learn to recognize emotional data features accurately. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.

Temporal Graph Neural Network (TGNN) has attracted much research attention because it can capture the dynamic nature of complex networks. However, existing solutions suffer from redundant computation overhead and excessive off-chip communications for TGNN inference because they often rely on redundant graph sampling and repeatedly fetching the features and vertex memory. This paper proposes a redundancy-free accelerator, RTGA, for high-performance TGNN inference. Specifically, RTGA proposes a redundancy-aware execution approach with temporal tree into a novel accelerator design to effectively eliminate unnecessary data processing for fewer redundant computations and off-chip communications and also designs a temporal-aware data caching method to improve data locality for TGNN. We have implemented and evaluated RTGA on a Xilinx Alveo U280 FPGA card. Compared with cutting-edge software solutions (i.e., TGN and TGL) and hardware solutions (i.e., BlockGNN and FlowGNN), RTGA improves the performance of TGNN inference by an average of 473.2x, 87.4x, 8.2x, and 6.9x and saves energy by 542.8x, 102.2x, 9.4x, and 8.3x, respectively. © 2024 Copyright is held by the owner/author(s). In order to promote the evaluation performance of deep learning infrared automatic target recognition (ATR) algorithms in the complex environment of air-to-air missile research, we proposed an analytic hierarchy process (AHP) evaluation system consisting of the target recognition ability, the generalization recognition ability, the anti-interference ability, the background suppression ability, and the cost metrics ability. According to detailed quantitative analysis and experimental results, we establish probability evaluation models and get their probability values. Compared with traditional evaluation systems, our proposed method implementation is showing high reliability. Similar superior performances are also achieved, such as quick, comprehensive, and scientific. Through the above research, the key technology of deep learning performance evaluation in automatic target recognition has been broken through, which provides some basis and guidance for the analysis of infrared imaging-guided weapon systems. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.
