data race is one of the most important concurrent anomalies in multi-threaded *** con-straint-based techniques are leveraged into race detection,which is able to find all the races that can be found by any oth-er sound race ***,this constraint-based approach has serious limitations on helping programmers analyze and understand data ***,it may report a large number of false positives due to the unrecognized dataflow propa-gation of the ***,it recommends a wide range of thread context switches to schedule the reported race(in-cluding the false one)whenever this race is exposed during the constraint-solving *** ad hoc recommendation imposes too many context switches,which complicates the data race *** address these two limitations in the state-of-the-art constraint-based race detection,this paper proposes DFTracker,an improved constraint-based race detec-tor to recommend each data race with minimal thread context ***,we reduce the false positives by ana-lyzing and tracking the dataflow in the *** this means,DFTracker thus reduces the unnecessary analysis of false race *** further propose a novel algorithm to recommend an effective race schedule with minimal thread con-text switches for each data *** experimental results on the real applications demonstrate that 1)without removing any true data race,DFTracker effectively prunes false positives by 68%in comparison with the state-of-the-art constraint-based race detector;2)DFTracker recommends as low as 2.6-8.3(4.7 on average)thread context switches per data race in the real world,which is 81.6%fewer context switches per data race than the state-of-the-art constraint based race ***,DFTracker can be used as an effective tool to understand the data race for programmers.

Cloud-based machine learning services offer significant advantages but also introduce the risk of tampering with cloud-deployed deep neural network (DNN) models. Black-box integrity verification (BIV) allows model owners and end-users to determine if a cloud-deployed DNN model has been tampered with by examining only the top-1 label responses. Fingerprinting generates fingerprint samples to query the model, achieving BIV with no impact on the model's accuracy. In this paper, we present BIVBench, the first comprehensive benchmark for BIV of DNN models. BIVBench covers 16 types of model modifications, providing extensive coverage of practical modification scenarios. Our analysis reveals that existing fingerprinting methods, which are typically focused on significant tampering, lack the sensitivity needed to effectively detect subtle yet common and potentially severe modifications. To address this limitation, we propose MiSentry (Model Integrity Sentry), a novel fingerprinting method that leverages meta-learning. MiSentry strategically incorporates a few subtly modified models into the meta-learning model zoo and maximizes the divergence of output predictions between the target model and the modified models in the model zoo to generate highly sensitive, generalizable, and effective fingerprint samples. Extensive evaluations using BIVBench demonstrate that MiSentry outperforms existing state-of-the-art methods overall and significantly surpasses them in detecting subtle modifications. Cloud storage services have been used by most businesses and individual users. However, data loss, service interruptions and cyber attacks often lead to cloud storage services not being provided properly, and these incidents have caused financial losses to users. Second, traditional and single-cloud model disaster recovery services are no longer suitable for the current complex cloud storage systems. Therefore, a scheme to provide disaster recovery for cloud storage services in a multi-cloud storage environment is needed in real production. In this paper, we propose a disaster recovery scheme based on blockchain technology. The proposed scheme outlined in this study aims to address the issue of data availability within the cloud storage landscape. The proposed scheme achieves this goal by dividing data into hot and cold categories, verifying the integrity of copy data via blockchain technology, and utilizing blockchain networks to manage multi-cloud storage systems. Experimental findings demonstrate that the proposed scheme yields superior results in terms of computation and time overheads. © 2023 IEEE.

In a multi-cloud storage system, provenance data records all operations and ownership during its lifecycle, which is critical for data security and audibility. However, recording provenance data also poses some challenging security and storage issues. In this paper, we present a secure and efficient multi-cloud storage data source scheme, BMDP. We use blockchain technology to ensure the secure storage of provenance data and design a smart contract to utilize the provenance data to ensure the proper operation of the multi-cloud storage system. Finally, we analyze the scheme's safety and do simulation experiments to show that the scheme has practicality. © 2023 IEEE.

Speech is a crucial aspect of human-to-human interactions and plays a fundamental role in the advancement of human–computer interaction (HCI) systems. Developing an accurate speech emotion recognition (SER) system for human conversations poses a critical yet challenging task. Existing state-of-the-art (SOTA) research in SER primarily focuses on modeling vocal information within individual conversational speech utterances, overlooking the significance of incorporating transactional information from the interaction context. In this paper, we present a novel Contextualized Convolutional Transformer-GRU Network (CCTG-Net) for recognizing speech emotions using Mel-spectrogram features, effectively integrating contextual information for emotion recognition. Our experiments are conducted on the widely-used emotional benchmark dataset, IEMOCAP. Compared to SOTA methods in four-class emotion recognition, our proposed model achieves a weighted accuracy of 88.4% and an unweighted accuracy (UA) of 89.1%. This marks a substantial 3.0% enhancement in UA while maintaining an optimal balance between performance and complexity. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.

In the real world, due to various challenging lighting conditions such as low light, underexposure, and overexposure, captured images often exhibit undesirable appearances. Given that images with different exposure levels require different correction processes, a single neural network struggles to produce satisfactory results. We propose a coarse-to-fine exposure correction model for learning exposure consistency representation to address underexposure and overexposure issues. Building upon the bilateral activation mechanism, we introduce the Fourier transform to capture global information and fuse it with locally extracted information through convolution to achieve superior feature representation. Additionally, we employ Laplacian pyramids to decompose the source image into different spatial frequency bands, then the image details are enhanced by denoising high-frequency layers. Experimental results on the MSEC and SICE datasets demonstrate the superiority of our proposed method over current state-of-the-art approaches. Knowledge Graph (KG) is an essential research direction that involves storing and managing knowledge data, but its incompleteness and sparsity hinder its development in various applications. Knowledge Graph Reasoning (KGR) is an effective method to solve this limitation via reasoning missing knowledge based on existing knowledge. The graph Convolution Network (GCN) based method is one of the state-of-the-art approaches to this work. However, there are still some problems, such as the insufficient ability to perceive graph structure and the poor effect of learning data features which may limit the reasoning accuracy. This paper proposes a KGR architecture based on a graph sequence generator and multi-head self-attention mechanism, named GaM-KGR, to improve the above problems and enhance prediction accuracy. Specifically, the GaM-KGR first introduces the graph generation model into the field of KGR for graph representation learning to obtain the hidden features in the data so that enhancing the reasoning effect and then embeds the generated graph sequence into the multi-head self-attention mechanism for subsequent processing to improve the graph structure perception ability of the proposed architecture, so that it can process the graph structure data more appropriately. Extensive experimental results show that the GaM-KGR architecture can achieve the state-of-the-art prediction results of current GCN-based models. © 2023 IEEE.

An integrated energy system is a complex system that requires intelligent control to optimize its operation. This paper proposes an intelligent control method for integrated energy systems based on a low carbon model. The model integrates a variety of low carbon technologies such as carbon capture systems, demand response, carbon emissions trading, and clean energy generation. The effect of the proposed intelligent control methods on reducing system costs and carbon emissions is verified through a case study. The results show that the combination of the intelligent control method and the low carbon model leads to a significant reduction in system operating costs and carbon emissions. This provides an important reference for intelligent control of the existing integrated energy system from a low-carbon approach. © 2024 IEEE.

Colored Petri Nets (CPNs) provide descriptions of the concurrent behaviors for software and hardware. Model checking based on CPNs is an effective method to simulate and verify the concurrent behavior in system design. However, the model checking method traverses the full state space, which suffers from the state space explosion problem. A reduced state space generation method related to the property of concurrent systems is proposed. Specifically, we extend CPNs to define a property-related model (CPN-PR) and give a property-related analysis method whose results can be used to generate the CPN-PR model. A reduced state space generation method is developed based on enabled binding element filtering rules. The stutter trace equivalence between the state spaces of CPN and CPN-PR has been proven by showing that the reduced state space may not change the model checking result. A comparison experiment is conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of our method. © 1982-2012 IEEE.

Gland instance segmentation is an essential but challenging task in the diagnosis of adenocarcinoma. The existing models usually achieve gland instance segmentation through multi-task learning and boundary loss constraint. However, how to deal with the problems of gland adhesion and inaccurate boundary in segmenting the complex samples remains a challenge. In this work, we propose a novel geometric feature named displacement field (DF), which can represent the geometric information such as shape, size, and orientation of the glands. Based on the explicit constraint of DF, a displacement-field assisted graph energy transmitter (DFGET) framework is proposed for solving the above problems. Using such graph framework, the gland semantic segmentation map and the displacement field of the graph nodes are estimated with two graph network branches. With the constraint of DF, a graph cluster module is presented to improve the intra-class feature consistency and inter-class feature discrepancy, as well as to separate the adherent glands. Extensive comparison and ablation experiments on the GlaS dataset demonstrate the effectiveness of the displacement field and the superiority of DFGET. Compared to the best comparative model, DFGET increases the object-Dice and object-F1 score by 2.27% and 3.11% respectively, while decreases the object-HD by 15.58, achieving state-of-the-art performance, which indicates that DFGET can serve as an auxiliary tool for the diagnosis of adenocarcinoma. © 2024 IEEE.
