Plot-based Graphic API recommendation (Plot2API) is an unstudied but meaningful issue, which has several important applications in the context of software engineering and data visualization, such as the plotting guidance of the beginner, graphic API correlation analysis, and code conversion for plotting. Plot2API is a very challenging task, since each plot is often associated with multiple APIs and the appearances of the graphics drawn by the same API can be extremely varied due to the different settings of the parameters. Additionally, the samples of different APIs also suffer from extremely *** the lack of technologies in Plot2API, we present a novel deep multi-task learning approach named Semantic Parsing Guided Neural Network (SPGNN) which translates the Plot2API issue as a multi-label image classification and an image semantic parsing tasks for the solution. In SPGNN, the recently advanced Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) named EfficientNet is employed as the backbone network for API recommendation. Meanwhile, a semantic parsing module is complemented to exploit the semantic relevant visual information in feature learning and eliminate the appearance-relevant visual information which may confuse the visual-information-based API recommendation. Moreover, the recent data augmentation technique named random erasing is also applied for alleviating the imbalance of API *** collect plots with the graphic APIs used to drawn them from Stack Overflow, and release three new Plot2API datasets corresponding to the graphic APIs of R and Python programming languages for evaluating the effectiveness of Plot2API techniques. Extensive experimental results not only demonstrate the superiority of our method over the recent deep learning baselines but also show the practicability of our method in the recommendation of graphic APIs.

The code summarization task aims to generate brief descriptions of source code automatically. It is beneficial for developers to understand source code. However, almost all of current code summarization approaches may generate low-quality (BLEU4<40) summaries, which will mislead developers. Previous work has shown that it is possible to conduct quality assurance for document generation (QA4DG) and improve the practicability of document generation approaches. Code summarization can also be regarded as a document generation task. This work aims to investigate whether QA4DG approaches can be leveraged to improve code summarization. Specifically, we first investigate whether existing QA4DG approaches can be plugged in code summarization approaches. We find that an automated quality assurance framework for commit message generation named QACom performs best. In-spired by the idea behind QAcom, we propose an ensemble code summarization approach called Ensum. Precisely, given a code snippet, Ensum first uses current code summarization approaches to generate candidate summaries. Then, Ensum predicts the quality of each candidate summary using a collaborative filtering-based component and a retrieval-based component and selects the best candidate summary as the output. Experimental results on two public datasets show that Ensum outperforms three state-of-the-art single approaches and one ensemble approach for code summarization in terms of BLEU-4, METEOR, and ROUGE-L.

ADAPTIVE GRAPH DIFFUSION NETWORKS

Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) have received much attention in the graph deep learning domain. However, recent research empirically and theoretically shows that deep GNNs suffer from overfitting and over-smoothing problems. The usual solutions either cannot solve extensive runtime of deep GNNs or restrict graph convolution in the same feature space. We propose the Adaptive Graph Diffusion Networks (AGDNs) which perform multi-layer generalized graph diffusion in different feature spaces with moderate complexity and runtime. Standard graph diffusion methods combine large and dense powers of the transition matrix with predefined weighting coefficients. Instead, AGDNs combine smaller multi-hop node representations with learnable and generalized weighting coefficients. We propose two scalable mechanisms of weighting coefficients to capture multi-hop information: Hop-wise Attention (HA) and Hop-wise Convolution (HC). We evaluate AGDNs on diverse, challenging Open Graph Benchmark (OGB) datasets with semi-supervised node classification and link prediction tasks. Until the date of submission (Aug 26, 2022), AGDNs achieve top-1 performance on the ogbn-arxiv, ogbn-proteins and ogbl-ddi datasets and top-3 performance on the ogbl-citation2 dataset. On the similar Tesla V100 GPU cards, AGDNs outperform Reversible GNNs (RevGNNs) with 13% complexity and 1% training runtime of RevGNNs on the ogbn-proteins dataset. AGDNs also achieve comparable performance to SEAL with 36% training and 0.2% inference runtime of SEAL on the ogbl-citation2 dataset. Copyright © 2020, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Nowadays,the design of convolutional neural network(CNN) models is getting deeper and *** traditional CNN is used to process limited data of remote sensing images,it will lead to *** will use lightweight and efficient models to classify remote sensing *** order to improve the classification accuracy and reduce the intermediate parameters,we improved GhostNet and proposed a smaller CNN named Improved ***,we use image enhancement methods to enlarge the datasets and dropout,it will reduce the amount of *** experimented on three datasets,such as AID,UC Merced,***,we used MobileNetV3-Small and GhostNet to compare with our CNN *** classification accuracy of improved GhostNet achieves more than 91%,and the accuracy on the AID is improved by 2.05% compared to the original *** results demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of improved GhostNet.

The Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) is a defacto standard for modelling business processes in the early phases of systems development. The increased adoption of business process management approaches has led organizations to model large collections of BPMN business process models. The mix of constructs in BPMN business process models can lead to semantic error. The ability to take a picture of BPMN business process models and analyze the semantic correctness of BPMN business process images is thus a desirable feature. In this paper, we propose an automatic recognition method to transform BPMN business process images into Petri nets, for which efficient analysis techniques are available. The proposed recognition has been implemented as a tool, in conjunction with existing Petri net-based tools, that enables the soundness analysis of business process images. This transformation can led to the identification of deficiencies in the BPMN business process images. © 2019 IEEE.

Multi-Label Out-of-Distribution Detection Via Exploiting Sparsity and Co-Occurrence of Labels

Although Out-Of-Distribution (OOD) detection has been extensively studied, the OOD detection under multi-label settings, which is closer to the real world, is still in its infancy. The pioneer work ignores some unique properties of multi-label images, such as the sparsity and co-occurrence of labels. Here, we empirically observe that these properties readily distinguish OOD and in-distribution data. Motivated by this observation, we propose a novel multi-label OOD detection approach named Sparse Label Co-occurrence Scoring (SLCS) to exploit the sparsity and co-occurrence information of labels. SLCS follows conventions and deems the logits outputted by the penultimate layer of the trained multi-label image classification model as the prediction confidences of a sample to categories in the training label set. A logit sparse filtering process is employed to filter out the low-confidence logits for avoiding the interference of low-confidence predictions while preserving the high-confidence logits to obtain the label sparsity. Then, the label co-occurrence pairs are counted for each sample based on its predicted categories and the label co-occurrence matrix constructed on the training set. Finally, the preserved logits are weighted by the label co-occurrence information and accumulated to produce the OOD detection score for each sample. Extensive experimental results on three well-known multi-label image datasets demonstrate the discriminating power of SLCS, which achieves greatly improved performances compared with the only multi-label OOD detection approach - JointEnergry and the state-of-the-art single-label OOD detection approaches. data augmentation is a powerful technique for improving the performance of the few-shot classification task. It generates more samples as supplements, and then this task can be transformed into a common supervised learning issue for solution. However, most mainstream data augmentation based approaches only consider the single modality information, which leads to the low diversity and quality of generated features. In this paper, we present a novel multi-modal data augmentation approach named Dizygotic Conditional Variational AutoEncoder (DCVAE) for addressing the aforementioned issue. DCVAE conducts feature synthesis via pairing two Conditional Variational AutoEncoders (CVAEs) with the same seed but different modality conditions in a dizygotic symbiosis manner. Subsequently, the generated features of two CVAEs are adaptively combined to yield the final feature, which can be converted back into its paired conditions while ensuring these conditions are consistent with the original conditions not only in representation but also in function. DCVAE essentially provides a new idea of data augmentation in various multi-modal scenarios by exploiting the complement of different modality prior information. Extensive experimental results demonstrate our work achieves state-of-the-art performances on miniImageNet, CIFAR-FS and CUB datasets, and is able to work well in the partial modality absence case. © 2021, CC BY-NC-SA.

Presently, a number of software development firms are being adopted offshore software development outsourcing (OSDO) mostly due to the noteworthy profits in the shape of good return on investment. However, many challenges related to OSDO are complicated especially interrelated to requirements engineering (RE) process. It is observed that RE contributes an important part in the successful execution of OSDO projects. The development of 'software Requirements engineering Maturity Model (SREMM) in the context of OSDO' is the main focus of this research that can assist RE experts to assess and measure their RE process readiness prior to implementation RE activities in the domain of OSDO. The SREMM is based on already published literature about RE, an industrial questionnaire survey with RE experts, and the knowledge about the factors that can influence the employment of RE activities in an OSDO environment. © 2019 IEEE.

Pushing the limit of type I codebook for FDD massive MIMO beamforming: A channel covariance reconstruction approach

There is a fundamental trade-off between the channel representation resolution of codebooks and the overheads of feedback communications in the fifth generation new radio (5G NR) frequency division duplex (FDD) massive multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) systems. In particular, two types of codebooks (namely Type I and Type II codebooks) are introduced with different resolution and overhead requirements. Although the Type I codebook based scheme requires lower feedback overhead, its channel state information (CSI) reconstruction and beamforming performance are not as good as those from the Type II codebook based scheme. However, since the Type I codebook based scheme has been widely used in 4G systems for many years, replacing it by the Type II codebook based scheme overnight is too costly to be an option. Therefore, in this paper, using Type I codebook, we leverage advances in cutting plane method to optimize the CSI reconstruction at the base station (BS), in order to close the gap between these two codebook based beamforming schemes. Numerical results based on channel samples from QUAsi Deterministic RadIo channel GenerAtor (QuaDRiGa) are presented to show the excellent performance of the proposed algorithm in terms of beamforming vector acquisition. Identifying topologies and system parameters of uncertaintime-varying delayed complex networks

Node dynamics and network topologies play vital roles in determining the network features and network dynamical *** it is of great theoretical significance and practical value to recover the topology structures and system parameters of uncertain complex networks with available information. This paper presents an adaptive anticipatory synchronization-based approach to identify the unknown system parameters and network topological structures of uncertain time-varying delayed complex networks in the presence of noise. Moreover, during the identification process, our proposed scheme guarantees anticipatory synchronization between the uncertain drive and constructed auxiliary response network simultaneously. Particularly, our method can be extended to several special cases. Furthermore, numerical simulations are provided to verify the effectiveness and applicability of our method for reconstructing network topologies and node parameters. We hope our method can provide basic insight into future research on addressing reconstruction issues of uncertain realistic and large-scale complex networks.
