Indonesia has the largest number of people that are active in social media and Indonesia is a country with the most social media users in the world. Social media in general is used to socialize (relate, both, personally, in groups and so on) between users. The users of social media in Indonesia already has reached 160 million in January 2020. and this number of social media users in Indonesia increased up to 12 million (8.1%) from April 2019 to January 2020. Firstly, social media was used by users to connect with each other through community. However, now social media is not only used as a means of virtual community for interaction but is also used as a channel for doing business. There are still many people who do not realize that social media has the advantage of being a very efficient and effective business, and many company that still confused about to choose which social media platform that suitable with their business promotion. Therefore, we want to show and tell them one of the advantages of social media in the field of promotion. Based on the surveys, there are four most popular social media in Indonesia such as YouTube, WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram. However, there still very few studies can be found to understand that social media is effective or not for business promotion. For this reason, this article will examine the advantages that social media have that can support business promotion. This article will utilize the questioners method to assess the important factors of social media users such as user satisfaction factors in using social media and what social media are often used by user to promote their business. The long COVID-19 pandemic has limited the activities of Ruang Publik Terpadu Ramah Anak (RPTRA) such as environment cleaning, repair of RPTRA infrastructure, learning and others, as well as the lack of public awareness about the existence and importance of RPTRA to the public and foreign tourists encouraging the RPTRA to make changes in the dissemination of information about the activities carried out in the RPTRA through the use of technology to survive and grow even during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The methodology used in this research is Group Discussion Forum with the administrators of the RPTRA Maya ASRI 13 to learn about the needs and expectations of the RPTRA administrators regarding the web portal to be built. Then, the implementation of the conceptual model, development, and evaluation of the effectiveness of the RPTRA information web portal was carried out. The contribution in this research is to implement a conceptual model on the information portal built on the platform of the Website with the PHP framework, which is then evaluated on the results of the pre-test and post-test about RPTRA the Wilcoxon-Signed Rank Test to test the effectiveness of the information web portal for general users. The results obtained from these tests indicate that the RPTRA Information Web Portal can help the public learn more about the existence of RPTRA Maya Asri 13. © 2022 The Authors. There is still a severe malaria problem worldwide, particularly in regions with limited access to diagnostic tools. It is crucial to develop a system for detecting malaria in blood cells. This paper presents a hybrid Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), and as a classifier, we use a Support Vector Machine (SVM) framework for the automated detection of malaria parasites in blood cell images. The proposed system leverages the strengths of CNNs in feature extraction and representation learning from images, combined with the discriminative power of SVMs for classification. Initially, CNN extracts intricate features from blood cell images, capturing essential patterns indicative of malaria infection. Subsequently, the extracted features are used to train an SVM classifier, enabling accurate discrimination between parasitized and uninfected blood cells. Experimental dataset evaluations were obtained from the Lister Hill National Center for Biomedical Communications website of the National Library of Medicine. The proposed model achieves a better f1-score, outperforming individual CNN or SVM models, around 0.015 compared to individual CNN models and 0.27 compared to individual SVM models. This hybrid CNN-SVM methodology offers a promising solution for accurately and efficiently detecting malaria parasites in blood cell images. © 2024 IEEE.

In today's environment, financial knowledge is vital and should be possessed by everyone. Numerous people are financially disadvantaged as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. This serves as a reminder of the critical nature of financial investment in the future. However, many Indonesians, particularly students, are still unfamiliar with capital market investing. In reality, investing in the stock market can provide a variety of benefits, including financial security, capital appreciation, and passive income. Financial literacy concerns can result in a lack of financial awareness among pupils. Indeed, financial literacy is widely available online and can be accessed at any time and from any location. We employed a quantitative method with a non-experimental research design for this study. A questionnaire survey is used to obtain data. The goal of this study is to determine whether there is a correlation between student interest in capital market investment and their digital financial literacy. As a result, extensive action is required to increase student interest in the capital market, which is precisely what this study wants to do. According to our findings, students who have access to digital financial and investment information have increased their financial literacy and developed a greater interest in investing in the capital market. Individuals are also encouraged by social media trends to try their hand at investing in the stock market. Additionally, students prefer to invest in stocks and mutual funds over other investing options. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The rapid development of technology and ease of information today greatly affects all aspects of life. During the COVID-19 pandemic, technology played an important role in maintaining community activities continued smoothly despite being hampered by several health policies during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many phenomena develop with new technologies in several fields, one in the economic field is e-commerce. E-commerce is a site that makes it easier for buyers to get the goods desired by the community, as well as the various interesting promos that are the attractiveness of the community to constantly shop in e-commerce so that the community applies consumptive behavior. So that the problem that will be discussed in this study is the development of e-commerce technology that affects people’s behavior in shopping which tends to be consumptive and hedonic. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact or effect of the use of e-commerce on consumptive behavior during the pandemic period and provide an overview of the potential regarding e-commerce in the future. This research method is quantitative. The data collection technique used for this study is to use a questionnaire. Thus, this research is expected to minimize the negative impacts that can be caused by the increasing consumptive behavior of society during the pandemic and provide wise e-commerce use. The results of this study can be seen from calculations using a formula that respondents tend to be more extravagant during the pandemic and for future potential, respondents will certainly enjoy the convenience provided by e-commerce. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

This research focuses on the use of machine learning methods, especially Random Forest, in designing tuberculosis drugs more effectively and efficiently. The research process begins with the creation of a QSAR (Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship) model using a dataset from ChEMBL that includes compounds with activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This model aims to predict the pIC50 value, which is an indicator of a compound's biological activity as a tuberculosis drug. The results of the Random Forest model showed high accuracy, which is 92%. This accuracy indicates that the model has a good ability in predicting the effectiveness of compounds against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. With this result, the developed model can be used as an auxiliary tool in the discovery of tuberculosis drugs and can be further developed to increase the effectiveness in drug research. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper reviews the latest trends and challenges in implementing digital twin technology. A digital twin is a tool used in various industries to improve efficiency, optimize processes, and enable advanced analysis. The review involved searching major research databases and search engines for articles published between 2018 and 2023. The findings reveal several important trends, including the development of different types of digital twin dimensions, each with its own advantages and limitations. The benefits of digital twin implementation include improved decision-making, increased productivity, and operational efficiency. However, there are challenges, such as data integration, security and privacy concerns, a lack of standardization, and the need for experts to effectively design and operate digital twins. The implications of these trends and challenges are discussed regarding their impact on the successful adoption and implementation of digital twin technology. The review also highlights the need to address these challenges and explore new approaches for maximizing the benefits of digital twin technology. Overall, this comprehensive review is a valuable resource for researchers, practitioners, and organizations seeking to understand the current landscape, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions when implementing digital twin technology. © 2023 IEEE.

Preventing agricultural resource loss caused by pests remains a crucial issue. While technological advancements are being achieved, the current agricultural management methods and equipment have yet to meet the required level for precise pest control, a huge portion of the pest population analysis process is still conducted manually. As a solution to this issue, the development of a White Rice Stem Borer pest detection system has been conducted by applying Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) technology to calculate the pest population count at the research location. This system has been specifically designed to detect the White Rice Stem Borer using available traps. The method involves training data from a direct dataset obtained from the field, categorized into two positive and negative classes of the White Stem Borer pests. Six models have been trained from this dataset, utilizing two different architectures. Out of the six trained models, four showed potential overfitting, one exhibited underfitting, and one model demonstrated optimal results. The highest accuracy in image detection achieved by the most optimal CNN model was 97.35%, with a training accuracy of 98.54%. This best-performing model utilized an architecture with three Convolution layers, 50 Epochs, and an automatic data split with an 80:20 training-validation data ratio. From the research findings, it is concluded that this study can assist in automatically analyzing the quantity of White Stem Borer pests in a specific area without directly counting the number of pests from existing traps. However, the study still encounters a limitation-the detection process still requires substantial server resources and cannot be directly processed on the Raspberry PI device installed in the trap. Consequently, the detection relies on transmitting image data from the field device to the server before the detection process can occur. © 2024 The Authors.

Enzymes are biocatalysts with vital roles in biological functions and many industrial applications. Diverse enzymes are classified using Enzyme Commission (EC) nomenclature, making differentiation challenging. On the other hand, another biological information, gene ontology (GO), can describe the biological aspects of enzymes, covering related biological processes (BP), molecular functions (MF), and their locations within cells (CC). This study proposes a novel EC class and subclass classification of enzymes within the ontology subclass based on their GO semantics using a Bidirectional Encoder Representation of Transformer (BERT). The BERT model is first fine-tuned using the preprocessed GO term name and definition, with the enzymes in each ontology class (BP, MF, or CC) are also divided based on how the GO assigned, either through manual annotation (NONIEA) or electronically inferred (IEA). BERT successfully obtained 0.93, 0.60, 0.99, 0.90, 0.40, and 0.35 F1 scores during fine-tuning for BP IEA, BP NONIEA, MF IEA, MF NONIEA, CC IEA, and CC NONIEA, respectively. On the test set, the fine-tuned BERT significantly outperformed GOntoSim, a framework to calculate semantic similarity based on classical information theory, in EC class classification across all metrics with less inference time in all ontology subclass. Expanded further to the EC subclass, BERT can classify the enzyme on the EC subclass level in BP IEA and MF IEA ontology subclass. However, longer epochs are needed in fine-tuning. This result shows that the names and definitions of GO terms are distinguishable features in classifying enzymes as an alternative to the information content approach. © 2024 IEEE.

The use of surveillance cameras (CCTV) is very limited and has many weaknesses. Surveillance cameras can only record events that are happening without being detected, so supervisors still need protection. From these limitations, it is necessary to use Human Motion Tracking on surveillance cameras that can help detect objects caught on camera. This paper analyzes each Human Motion Tracking method in terms of the level of accuracy of the supporting or inhibiting factors, as well as the estimated costs required. This paper will compare each of the methods found to conclude that the Human Motion Tracking method has the highest detection accuracy, equipped with adequate key factors, and accompanied by a balanced cost. In conclusion, this study recommends the Kalman Filter method as the most optimal choice for human Motion Tracking on surveillance cameras, offering a balanced combination of accuracy and efficiency. The implementation of this method is expected to contribute significantly to enhancing security measures and creating a safer environment by effectively monitoring potential security issues. © 2023 IEEE.
