Detecting Hemileia vastatrix using Vision AI as Supporting to Food Security for Smallholder Coffee Commodities

The loss of food crops during the COVID-19 pandemic threatens food security in Indonesia as one of the world's top coffee producers. This affects the insecurity of coffee commodities which is influenced by several factors other than the pandemic such as pests, plant diseases, and extreme weather. Plant diseases, such as leaf rust, are a significant factor in the insecurity problem in coffee commodities. The fungus Hemileia vastatrix B et Br causes leaf rust disease, which is a pest that frequently damages coffee plants. This disease not only interferes with plant growth but also causes a decrease in coffee quality and quantity. This initial research aims to carry out early prevention of these diseases as supporting to food security in smallholder coffee commodities. An AI-based visual detection application is the result of this research. We collected 100 images of coffee leaves from various coffee plants. The image is reshaped to 256 x 256 pixels and randomly trimmed to 224 x 224 pixels to fulfill the size requirements of a standard Deep Learning technique. Each image was classified into two classes by a plant pest and disease specialist. The dataset was divided into training, validation, and testing series with a ratio of 60:20:20 for training procedures. The Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) research method used a variation of the ResNet CNN model with 18 layers. The best model validation was 59%.

Knowledge Management System (KMS) which includes knowledge creation, knowledge storage, knowledge transfer, and the application of that knowledge within the organization to create work effectiveness and efficiency by bringing pre-existing knowledge as a basis for decision-making and work guidelines. PT. XYZ Indonesia is a company engaged in the amino acid industry that has just implemented a Knowledge Management System (KMS) in early 2022. Competition between industries is very common in order to win business competition to get big profits. This success is highly dependent on human resources as businesspeople who run the company's wheels with the knowledge they have. Hiring employees from competitors is one of the fastest ways to get qualified and ready-to-use human resources. With a high employee turnover rate due to the increasing number of first-generation employees in the 1990s retiring, it is very necessary for company knowledge management to avoid loss of company knowledge. It takes knowledge transfer between employees for continuous work processes. The purpose of this study is to find out how business processes can run by implementing a Knowledge Management System (KMS). The results of the knowledge management analysis in the company found that there is a web-based KMS application that functions to maintain and protect data and information so that it is not damaged and lost. The company has implemented explicit knowledge transfer through the add-user database system, employee data input, and employee absence system. In addition, companies still need to improve KM in the form of pages that can add tacit knowledge and display tacit knowledge to accommodate knowledge from employees, so that employee performance can be maximized. The implementation of a website based KMS is expected to be a solution to the need to share knowledge that is not hindered by time and geographical location constraints. A well-prepared face detection has become a common thing in this era of technology There are so many applications that utilize face detection for example in smartphone, CCTV, and many more. This research proposed a developed system detection object (face and pattern) using LabVIEW software. LabVIEW is virtual instrument that mimics an instrument simulation software that can display object detectors in real time with IGUI design. The accuracy of the detection that can read object using IGUI in real time was also discussed. This research presents a face detection approach and pattern in a colorless image compare to pattern and face texture that are maintained by Image Capture. This is then used to identify faces and patterns, while other previous research on face detection using 3D stereo vision cameras.

Mass gathering has been identified as one of the causes of fast-spreading of COVID-19. Physical distancing practices and large gathering control in Malaysia and all over the world are likely to be continued until the end of the year, even after Movement Control Order (MCO) has been lifted. This has imposed event organizers to redesign their events into virtual events where attendees are to stay at their houses and meet with the host and other attendees virtually. However, certain types of educational events or activities such as practical and hands-on classes are not to be virtually conducted as it by nature carries a competency for the students. This paper evaluates the standard classroom layout by comparing with optimal layout based on circle packing problem (CPP) solution. CPP solution is used to optimize the physical distancing-constrained for the student seat layout as in it happens in real life. The findings can provide an effective exit strategy for Malaysia to deal with this COVID-19 pandemic or other pandemics in the future.

In any organization, the appropriate use of information systems will have an impact on the effectiveness of day-to-day operations. To find out how the performance of an information system is necessary to do an evaluation of the implementation of which has been run. This study evaluates the implementation of information systems in the Maternity Hospital St. Yosef. By adopting PIECES framework as an evaluation, primary data collection is done through questionnaires distributed. Of the some respondents who collected the data used factor analysis to get factors and indicators affect the successful implementation of system and get right model for evaluation of the Maternity Hospital in St. Joseph. The results showed that the factor of ease use and suitability to needs of a positive effect on the success, while reliability of system negatively affect the success. On a scale of 0-100 obtained an un-expected value of system performance is at 45.75 and the expected value of performance of the system is equal to 83.77. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Global warming due to excessive emission greenhouse gases is a significant issue faced by humanity, and collectively, cars and trucks contribute about 20% to the entire global-warming gases. For a reason, recently, many attempts have been endured to reduce the emission and to increase fuel efficiency, including vehicle platooning, better driving strategy, and increasing engine efficiency. This study intends to provide a more detail assessment regarding the effects of the driving strategy to fuel consumption. For the purpose, the vehicle dynamics are quantified by employing the car-following model based on the optimal velocity model. The fuel consumption is estimated from the regression model of Ahn 18 . The result suggests that the braking distance strongly affects fuel consumption.

Classification of the Structural Integrity by the General Vibration Method

Traditionally, for the purpose of classifying the integrity of an engineering structure, one may use the information of the natural frequencies or mode shapes or some other measures derived from the two. In this research, we propose a classification method on the basis of the general vibration model. The general vibration model is essentially a set of differential equations describing the dynamics of the structure under consideration. For the purpose of damage detection, a deviation of the general vibration model from the dynamic equilibrium point marks the occurrence of the damage. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the method, we study two simplest dynamical systems consisting of one- and two-concentrated masses subjected to a prescribed dynamic load. The structural damages are introduced artificially by reducing the stiffness of spring in the structures. We find that the general vibration model is more sensitive to damages than the traditional methods.

The era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 had a significant impact on the economy of a country. The development of the increasing number of investors spread across various regions is an obstacle to increasing its participation during the implementation of the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS). Therefore, companies are required to be able to carry out digital transformation and follow technological developments, especially building an information technology infrastructure that accommodates the needs and makes it easier for shareholders to participate in the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) electronically or better known as e-GMS which is equipped with an e-proxy and e-voting platform. Increasing participation can have an impact on the quality of corporate governance, which can improve the quality of audits higher and have an impact on the level of internal control. On the other hand, the presence of monitoring from shareholders can significantly reduce the company's financial leverage.

The security system in monitoring the room or something suspicious activity that can cause crimes in the field of information and technology as in private homes is indispensable. Aims to keep valuables from theft and loved ones like babies from kidnapping or reducing the risk of an accident in an unguarded infant activity. The use of CCTV still has constraints because some functions are still done manually such as should always move the record of the CCTV data every day to different memory so that there is waste in using memory. Moreover, the position of the camera can not be adjusted freely in the placement so that it can easily be destroyed by irresponsible people, and also ordinary CCTV needs electricity that is considerable in its use. This research is done to improve and facilitate the process of monitoring of baby activity and the room where the baby is called sleep or rest, all monitoring activities can be done using only a Web browser that can be accessed by a smartphone or desktop. The monitoring system is created using a program called RPi Cam that is installed on the Raspberry Pi with a Raspberry Camera module as a monitoring camera and a DHT22 sensor module as a room temperature monitor.

The development of information technology in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 is very rapid, information technology infrastructure can be developed to support platforms in various business sectors, and the role and concept of managing relationships between companies and customers related to marketing, sales, and service business processes are the business focus for companies, so it is necessary to look for factors, indicators that affect competitive advantage in order to build an evaluation model in implementing an effective and efficient Customer Relationship Management system to increase customer loyalty and satisfaction. This research was conducted through interviews and distributing questionnaires to various respondents who were users of company products or customers the analytical method for data processing used factor analysis methods and regression analysis was used to produce mathematical models. The results obtained are a number of new factors formed from a number of indicators that make up these factors so that an ideal evaluation model can be built. It is concluded that the factors related to the evaluation of the implementation of electronic marketing are Customer Service Experience, Customer Experience Value, Business Value Proposition, Product Development, and Communication Core, and Lack of Services and Supply, and through these factors, an implementation model can be built to appropriate and optimum electronic marketing in competitive advantage.
